Hey guys, it’s Neat Whale. Most of you know me, I think… I’m an administrator on the PTB (Poptropical Thunder’s Blog), and administrator on The Zone. I’m ten, born on April 23, and I live in the USA, which led to my often used nickname ‘The Unknown American Tween’. (Fun fact: This name is also used by me when I feel like my B-Ball mates are ingoring me… which happens a lot, unfortunally)

I’m obsessed with Poptropica, of course. I’ve been on the PHB for about a year now, on December 11th (I think). Not many of you know this, I’m sure, but I just want to put it out there, that for about four months my parents kept me from the PHB, which was not a fun time. 😦

But, hey, I’m back now…. and before I close this post, I just want to say thank-you to ALL of the people that were there for me and were my friend, you should know who you are by now, but if you don’t… you’re Poptropical Thunder, Golden Eagle, Cool Wing, Green Seal, Cheerful Claw, Storm, Raven, The Boot, Winter Moonbeam, Sana, Super Grape, Jes, Golden Sky, Zuzu, and of course, Hijuyo.

And anyone thanks to those who stood up for me that time when I was accused of making Grumpy Wolf leave, of course. You mean a whole bunch to me, and I am never about to go off and forget you for that.

I hope you all enjoy me on the staff here. 😀

Hello, fellow poptropicans! =D Some of you might have noticed that there’s 2 new delicious looking store items (Thanks, Bobitator!) and 2 new Creators’ posts!  There’s also now a page about Counterfeit Island telling what the plot of the island is.  =D

In the Poptropica Store, there’s two new items:

  • FREE candy canes.  YESH, THEY IZ FREE!!! =O
  • A new Candy Cane Outfit for 75 credits!

Anyway, there’s another post on the Creators’ Blog, by Master Mime!  (Thanks, Johnny!) It shows some sketches of the Counterfeit Island Gate Keeper.  0_o He scares me…

Doesn’t he scare you too?  0.o The title of the post was “Counterfeit Island Gate Keeper”, and the description was:

Here is some concept art for Counterfeit Island. Watch out for the Gatekeeper! You will only like him when he’s…crazy.

I think he’s crazy enough. 😛 xD If you look at the homepage, there’s a link to a page about Counterfeit Island’s plot!  (Thanks, TyrianCF!)

When you click on it, you will be lead to this page:

So, the description talks about the plot, saying that you will have to explore the “dark and dangerous side of Counterfeit Island” and save the famous artwork from the person who’s out to steal it.  This probably includes that Thomas Jefferson painting, and the Scream.

Nope, but issue #7 of the PHB’s Poptropican’s 911 monthly newsletter has arrived! Don’t look so bewildered – any true Poptropica fan would want to read this. 🙂

Also, our ‘Poptropica Poll’ widget to the right side has been updated with the question, ”What do you think of the upcoming Counterfeit Island?” Move your cursor over there and submit your opinion!

November 2009’s poll question read, ”Did you pay any real money for Poptropica merchandise?” Here are the results:

New Poptropica Updates!

  1. New Side Ad! (Credit to Bobitator of the PHF!)
    There’s a new side ad on Poptropica, for the Cartoon Network TV show “Total Drama Island” (which I think is a VERY dumb show :P). SHAME Creators! Check out its picture below. It appears whenever you change scenes. Poptropica must really be getting up there if they’re getting money from Cartoon Network…O_o

  2. New Store Items! (Credit to Bobitator (again? O_O) and The Storm from the PHF!) Introducing the “Snowman” and er.. “Snow Fall”!

    The Snowman costume is a…well..Snowman. With the Snow Fall, you can brighten up your gaming experience! It causes snow to fall from the top of your screen to the bottom, which is really cool. I don’t think either is worth spending Credits on though.

Hey everyone! =) Comic Kid posted a new sneak peek of the new Counterfeit Island coming up! (Thanks for the update, Happy Storm!) It shows a cute little cottage, as shown below:

I’m not sure if the owners of the cottage would like having some poptropican by the name of Comic Kid in their house… xD  The title of the post was “A little getaway” by -of course- Comic Kid.  😛 The description in the post was:

While exploring more of Counterfeit Island, I saw a quaint little cottage just outside of town, that would be a great vacationing spot.

I wonder what the cottage would have to do with the plot of the island… oh well, we’ll find out soon. =D (I hope, at least. 0_o)

Anyway, you probably noticed the [TOTALLYAWESOMEANDCOOLANDAWESOME] snow falling when you view the blog.  😀 It looks AWESOME and helps to get you in that wintery mood. 🙂
