Hey Poptropicans! Remember Poptropica’s sudden pop-in to hype up Cyber Monday just a few days ago? In the last remaining hours of Monday, they followed up with another message on the PHC to announce up to 50% off on Pop merch on their Zazzle online store! ⚡️

Strange that they are only announcing this on our little Discord server, and not on any of their own channels with more followers… 🤔

In reality, most of the items are just 25% off, though there are some at half-price: the Dr. Hare Wrapping Paper, mugs of 8-bit Pixel Beev and Hare, Funny Bunny Farm, Fairy Tale and Monster Carnival, phone cases of Binary Bard, Dr. Beev the Beaver, and Dr. Hare, and throw pillows with the Fairy Tale Pattern and Dr. Hare. Poptropica mentions that the discounts are for a limited time only, so get on it quick if you want anything! Though they didn’t specify when the deals would end, and we’re now past Monday and into Tuesday, time is ticking on the deeper discounts.

Hi! Serious Heart here. It’s been a while, but let’s get back into The Chronicles of Friendly Thunder! Catch up on the last chapter here.

NARRATOR:
It’s been a while since we last saw Friendly Thunder, hasn’t it? Anyway, last time we saw him, he was sailing away from 24 Carrot on a blimp, heading off into an adventure. While most residents of Poptropica are still having lunch, the crew are trying to decide which island to go to next…

FRIENDLY THUNDER:
We should totally go to Astro-Knights!

ICY SNAKE:
No, we should go to Counterfeit!

PURPLE CLAW (speaking up for the first time):
Maybe we should go to Timmy Failure! It’s got a fun name, and it can’t be all that bad!

NARRATOR:
They head to Timmy Failure Island. It takes a while, considering the huge gap between 24 Carrot and Timmy Failure, but they get there.

FRIENDLY THUNDER:
Wait, why are we all covered in… smelly trash?

ICY SNAKE:
Beats me. Hey, look there’s a girl, and Timmy, and… a polar bear eating garbage? What the heck?

TIMMY FAILURE (pointing at the girl):
At last, I have proof of your misdeeds, you nefarious huckster!

CORRINA CORRINA:
What are you talking about? I was trying to help you!

TIMMY FAILURE:
Save it for the magistrate. You’ll be in shackles for the rest of your natural life!

CORRINA CORRINA:
I don’t have time for this. Good luck washing off the garbage stink.

NARRATOR:
Corrina Corrina runs off to wash off the stink.

TIMMY FAILURE (turns to look at the trio):
Joke’s on her. Garbage stink is the ideal olfactory camouflage.

That’s it! I really wanted to end this particular chapter on a comedic note. And it’s been a while since I’ve said it, but…

Popping in for Cyber Monday hype 👩🏽‍💻

Happy Thanksgiving weekend, Poptropicans! 🍁✨🦃 Whether you’re getting stuffed on stuffing or passing through just another day, let it be known that we’re thankful to have you sticking around with us. 🩵

And guess who else is still sticking around? The Poptropica Creators! After two months of silence since their last IG post in Sept, Poptropica surprised us by popping into our Discord server, the PHC, to say:

Cyber Monday, in case you’re not familiar, is an occasion for online shopping deals. It’s similar to Black Friday the week before, but focused in cyberspace. Though Poptropica didn’t elaborate on their message, we can guess that there may be some discounts coming up — perhaps on Pop merch, memberships, or their Steam bundle? Guess we’ll find out…

In the meantime, happy Thanksgiving! 🥳

“The Villain Saga” – (FINALE) Episode 10, Part 1

INT. EREWHON PRISON, JUPITER’S LAB – EVENING

FADE IN.

We open this episode where we left off, with DIRECTOR D. and MOREAU watching the completion of the beginning of JUPITER’S experiment. All four prisoners are in their places now, hung in suspended animation in a sleep-like state, with JUPITER looking proudly on.

MOREAU

…So…what will happen to them?

JUPITER

(Pacing)

Ideally, I will have removed all their evil temptations and desires, and I will be able to prove them as good, law-abiding members of society.

(Con’t)

But reality is often not ideal. I doubt this will change them at all–at best, the chance for these things to go wrong is quite high.

(Con’t)

But we must all make sacrifices for our goals…I’m sure you would understand.

DIRECTOR D. and MOREAU don’t respond. They likely don’t have any moral opposition to this sort of experimentation, but they’re still very stunned and confused.

JUPITER

Now, if you’ll leave us be—

A lab assistant walks up to the bottom platform, sitting in a chair under the devices. A helmet slowly attaches to his head, and the entire machine lights up, nearly blinding all in the room.

Once the lights are gone, so is the assistant, with the helmet and chair empty as though nothing had happened at all.

JUPITER

–I’ll let my assistants get started on exploring their minds.
