Stylish packs and spider pranks 🐻🕷

Hey Poptropicans, new member gifts are here, and they come in packs of three! First up is the Furry Purse Pack, with variants of a cute brown bear, happy pink bunny (not at all like the evil Dr. Hare), and a sleepy gray kitty. It’s an overshirt item, so it can’t go with jackets.

Then there’s the Snowboard Pack, which has a version with stripes of different colors, another that says “Powder” (interesting brand name?), and one with rounded lines and shades of purple.

The last batch of bonus goods are the RC Cars, or remote controlled cars, although you can’t see the remote. They come in blue (with flames), red (with lightning), or green (truck style), and pressing space bar will make the car drive around a couple times on the ground.

All in all, that’s 9 new member gifts to kick off the new year! But if you don’t have a membership yet, why not enter our giveaways for Free Poptropica Membership? In other news, here’s what the Pop Creators have been featuring this week on social media. On their Instagram story this Friday, they shared two pieces of fan art as well as a snap of Binary Bard socks from the Poptropica merch store. Have you gotten your Pop swag yet?

On the Creators’ Blog, they shared a Video of the Week from Shade-e’s 101, who recorded himself exploring his friend’s clubhouse. The Creators mentioned how they loved seeing the Poptropica community be supportive of one another, and that you can tag your videos with “Poptropica” for a chance to have them featured!

Walking with wolves and our creatively festive pets

Hello, everyone! We’ll be checking out one magical advertisement, two wild prizes, three festive accessories, and four creative illustrations. But enough counting, let’s get reporting!

We have a new ad game for the Apple Original film “Wolfwalkers.” To start your adventure, go inside the tree and talk to apprentice hunter Robyn. You have three minutes to explore a dark woodland maze and hunt seven wolves as well as one wolfwalker (a human who can turn into a wolf). When the creatures pop out of their hiding places, walk over to them to capture them.

Once you find all eight creatures, you will be rewarded with the Wolf Follower and the Wolf Transformation. In order to transform, equip the Wolf Transformation item and press the spacebar to (temporarily) become a wolf.

We received a tip from PHB reader PercyJackson1010, who told us that members have received three new holiday items for their pets: Red Plaid Scarf, Reindeer Antlers, and Cozy Sweater. How could we have missed these adorably festive outfits!?

To wrap up this post, let’s take a look at some awesome creations that the Creators have featured on Instagram. Winter coloring pages with ends of ages ❄️

Hey Poptropicans! It’s mid-December, which means several things: rounding off the flurry of member gifts, some dates to remember, and even a handful of coloring pages when you need a break. Let’s pop into it!

The last of the 12 Days of Member Gifts is here, and it’s a doozy: this Ice Wielder Power is the perfect overlay for a wintry look, reminiscent of the Electrify power but with an animated storm of snowflakes.

Take a look back on the previous 12 Days of Member Gifts here, here, here, and here, and remember, you can get all 12 gifts if you become a member at any point this month. It’s the best time for bonus items!

There’s winter fun for all in other ways too, and the latest comes in the form of these free winter coloring pages from the Creators’ Blog! In addition to Poptropicans dressed for the cold, we’ve also got snowmen (one melted) and a candy cane. Click the images to open in full size!

Once you’ve opened a coloring page image, you could save them to your device and color them with an art app, or print them out and color them the traditional way. Either way, the Pop Creators would love to see your creations — you can share them on social media with the tag #poptropicart for a chance to have your work featured!

Have you been cooking up an idea for the Design Your Dream Island Contest? Keep in mind that the last day for entries is this Friday, Dec 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST! The winner will be announced ten days later, Dec 28.

Christmas with Krampus, winter costumes, and horses 👹🐎

Hey Poptropicans, it’s been a long time coming, but a new Poptropica story is finally on its way to our game screens!

The Creators’ Blog put out a sneak peek this week featuring a snowy village scene with a house adorned with holiday decorations, including pillars by the door featuring what appears to be Krampus, the horned Christmastime demon of European legend.

The Creators added that they’ve been “putting in some extra hours to make a fun side-quest experience for all players,” promising an “all-new story and all-new characters.”

While it won’t be a full island, we know fans have been eager for more storytelling from Poptropica, so this is exciting! But like recent adventures such as Hoptropica, this wintry tale will be a limited time experience, so stick around Pop this holiday season to find out what it’s about. What are your theories on these frosted window panes?

Speaking of the holidays, the 12 Days of Member Gifts continue to rain down the goodies with various winter items: Winter PJs (Day 9), Cool Winter Outfit (Day 10), and Cool Winter Boots (Day 11).

The Creators have been keeping up with their promise of sharing a “Video of the Week,” and in this fourth week of the series, they’ve shared a video from TikTok that “made the whole Poptropica Creators team laugh pretty hard.”

Horseback riding through the snow, with plenty of sweaters to stay warm ❄️ 🐴

Hey there, Poptropicans! First things first: another week has flashed by, and that means another store rotation! There’s not a whole lot of new items this time around, but the costume section has got a few cool outfits added. Let’s take a look!

The newest items added this week include:

Sunny Sport, Tie-Dye Hoodie, Rock Star (male & female), Elf Costume*

The Little Candy Cane, which remains in the store from last week’s rotation, is oddly showed in both the Power section and the Costume section. Strange, but the more candy canes, the merrier!

The store isn’t the only place to find fun new gear, as 12 Days of Member Gifts festivities are still going strong! For Day 7, Poptropica members received the fabulous—and ever so slightly ridiculous—Snowflake Costume! Just perfect for winter.

Or, if sporting the giant snowflake look is too cold for you, there’s always the option to take the warmer route and bundle up in a Cozy Seater (Day 8)! (Perhaps they meant “Sweater”?)

Once you’ve finished your holiday shopping, maybe pop on over to the newest ad: Spirit: Riding Free is available to play on Home Island, or you can access it through the in-between scenes on any island.

The ad doesn’t involve much; all you’re asked to do is watch a short trailer video, and you’re given two themed prizes. The prizes are Lucky’s Racing Gear and Free Spirit! Check out what happens when you tap the space bar on that second item…
