Get Crazy Cozy and Vote for Vestments πŸ§£πŸ—³οΈ

Hey, Poptropicans! Let’s take a look at the latest in Pop fall fashion and revisit some contest-winning classics. After that, we’ll check out a special review of Goofball Island as well as some fun fan art features.

With temperatures dropping IRL, Adventure Outfitters is debuting some cozy fashion for both Poptropicans and pets. Players can buy themselves the oversized Cool Autumn outfit for one easy payment of 250 credits. It’s a simple look that goes well with many different accessories such as a pair of glasses. πŸ‘“

Pets get three new items to match their owners’ outifts. All players can keep their pets warm with the Sweater Buddy sweater and Snug Bean hat, which pair nicely with the Snug Vibes outfit. On the other paw, members and their pets can be extra sweet together with the Slice of Pie costume, which matches the Sweet as Pie costume. These cute and cozy critter costumes cost 75 credits each.

While the Creators are choosing the winner of November’s costume contest, players can vote for which of the previous winning designs should return during the Baron’s next visit! If you missed one of these costumes the first time around, here’s your chance to have it return next month. Head over to the Creators’ Blog and let your voice be heard!

Have you had a chance to play through the newly released Goofball Island? Because we’ve got a special review of the island from none other than Emperor Thirsty Flame himself!

In this Twitter thread, the designer of Goofball Island, who also goes by the name Blank Slayte, talks about being pleasantly surprised by the visuals, the gameplay, and his being immortalized as Goofball Island’s founder. It must be exciting and surreal to become a part of Poptropica history. You can also read about how Thirsty Flame designed Goofball Island in this exclusive PHB interview! πŸ€ͺ🏝️

By the way, we’re loving how much detail is in the new island. Check out our Goofball Island Guide to see if you caught them all!

Speaking of goofy, only a couple hours remain in the Goofy Clubhouse Challenge. You have until tonight at 8 p.m. PST to submit your hilarious homes to the Pop Creators. Good luck, peculiar Poptropicans!

Last but not least, we have five features from Pop’s latest Instagram stories. This particular batch not only has fan art for the new Goofball Island, but even an NFT meme from the official Coolmath Games account. Make of that what you will.

That’s all for now! What do you think of this week’s Adventure Outfitters update? Which of the 10 winning costumes do you want to see make a comeback? What are your thoughts on Goofball Island? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Catch some Crazy Costumes and Clubhouses πŸ€ͺ🎩🏠

Howdy, Poptropicans! It’s almost time to goof off because Goofball Island, the second 2020 Dream Island winner, will be released in a mere two days! Get silly and get ready to save this colorful island from a monochrome fate! πŸ€ͺπŸ”

To celebrate, Adventure Outfitters stocked up on some new items ranging from stylish to silly. The costume gallery features a new fashionable fall look: the Frosty Flannel. All players can purchase this grey get-up for 250 credits.

In stark contrast to this subdued look, the rest of the store boasts a wide array of wacky articles fitting for the upcoming release of Goofball Island. Our returning items are the various fast food costumes, the autumn clubhouse dΓ©cor, and the Pie Pal Follower. There are also three new items: the Rawr-in Hat (100 credits), the Eye See You googly eyes (100 credits), and the Hatters Gonna Hat cuckoo clock hat (250 credits).

Think some goofy gear is enough to build anticipation for Goofball island? Heh heh… WRONG!!! The Pop Creators also invited players to join the Goofy Clubhouse Challenge! Players are tasked with creating the wackiest clubhouse with the only limit being their imaginations and their in-game wallets. The homeowners of the three nuttiest abodes will win an unspecified amount of credits.

Once you’re done decorating, go to the submissions page and enter either a short video of your clubhouse or your account username so the Creators can take a gander themselves. Act fast because this challenge ends on Monday, November 22, at 8pm PST.

While you deck your dwellings with daffy decorations, don’t forget about November’s ongoing costume contest. You can enter your outfit designs until Friday, November 19th, at 8pm PST. Maybe you could design a bonkers costume based on Goofball Island? The possibilities are endless!

Now let’s check out some social media shenanigans! The Creators made a Youtube short all about dressing up our beloved pets, which is appropriately accompanied by “Who Let The Dogs Out” by Baha Men.

Over on Instagram, the Creators shared some more awesome fan content! There’s plenty of cool stuff from Poptropican doodles to Popsona drawings to poppin’ dank memes.

That’s all for now. Are you looking forward to Goofball Island’s release? Do you think it will be a laugh-out-loud joyride or a foolish folly? Will you get into the silly spirit and dress up yourself and your clubhouse? Let us know in the comments below.

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Climb Aboard for a Costume Crusade πŸ§₯πŸ—ΊοΈ

Ahoy, Poptropicans! It’s time to embark on another journey and uncover some Poptropica news. We’ll admire some amazing artwork, say “Bonjour!” to the Baron, and chronicle some creative costumes. Let’s go!

Here are some fan art features from Pop’s recent Instagram stories. Plenty of fan art per usual, but also some promo for the Baron’s Crusade!

Two of the stories relate to the new Baron’s Crusade side quest. One is a poll asking users if they had played the quest, and the other is a Poptropica TikTok video that was posted on a Bones Day. We can safely say that this quest is Noodle-approved. 🦴

Be careful what you wish for, the Baron heard y’all wanted a Bones Day πŸ’€ New side quest is out NOW ft. 🦴🦴🦴 #bonesday #bonesornobones #gamingtiktok

The Creators’ Blog also published a walkthrough for the Baron’s Crusade side quest. The written walkthrough and accompanying video show players how to complete the quest and uncover the hidden Easter eggs. You have one week left to set off on this once in a lifetime adventure and to snatch some Halloween goodies, including the six winning designs from September’s costume contest. Good luck, adventurers!

Speaking of costumes, I’m excited to share that I wrote a guest post for the Creators’ Blog! Since the PHB Halloween costume contest is still open, I wrote Gentle Dolphin’s Declassified Costume Creation Guide (Points if you get the referenceπŸ˜‰)! This guide gives tips for making custom in-game looks and showcases some examples as seen below. I hope these tips help you create your ideal costume whether it be for trick-or-treating, island perusing, or contest submitting.

You may also notice a new Contests page on the Poptropica website menu. So far, this page only features the original announcement of monthly costume contests from June 2021. Maybe this is where the Creators will post updates about upcoming contests? There hasn’t been any word regarding a new costume contest in October, so I think we might get an announcement in early November. We’ll wait and see!

That’s all for now! Did you play the Baron’s Crusade side quest yet? What did you think of it, and did you discover every secret? Have you entered the PHB’s Halloween costume contest yet, or are you planning to enter this coming week? Let us know in the comments below!

PHB Special: Backspace β€” “Blank Space” Taylor Swift Parody Music Video πŸŽ΅πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ€

Hey, Poptropicans! We had a lot of fun watching your Poptropica Month videos this year β€” and even highlighted some of our favorites.

Of course, we didn’t want to feel left out of the fun, so we’ve been working on something too… Without further ado, we at the Poptropica Help Blog present our first hit single: “Backspace”!

A few months ago, Slanted Fish had the idea to write a Poptropica parody of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” for Poptropica Month 2021. While the original “Blank Space” satirizes media’s obsession with Swift’s love life, “Backspace” expresses fans’ grievances with modern-day Poptropica. The end product was a fun and (unfortunately) relatable glimpse into being a Poptropica fan in 2021.

Every lyrical masterpiece needs a singer, so imagine my surprise when Slanted Fish asked me to provide vocals! Why me? Well, it might have had something to do with me mentioning that I like to sing WAY back in my introduction to the PHB post. I wonder what 2018 me would have thought if she knew what including that little detail would lead to? Just don’t ask me to dance, though.

Recording audio was easier said than done. I own a Blue Snowball microphone, an omnidirectional microphone that picks up every little sound in the room. On top of that, it was difficult finding a good time and place to record amid conflicting work schedules, Florida’s summer storms, and noisy chickens. Don’t believe me on that last one? Here’s an exclusive behind-the-scenes listen at me dealing with four rambunctious roosters. πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“

Recording was only half the battle. For mixing, I used a free program called Audacity, which is also called Audiotonic in the Microsoft Store. After sorting through multiple takes and playing with the volume, I finally exported the track and sent it Fishy’s way. Finally, she created the accompanying music video using various Poptropica island trailers from over the years.

We hope you all liked our little pop song! Will we make another music video like this in the future? Eh, we’ll see… Anyway, be sure to also check out the Poptropica Month 2021 playlist for more awesome Pop-related videos. It’s a fun way to celebrate Poptropica’s birthdayβ€” err, funeral as the Dimension Bros would say.

Thank you for listening, and have a good day!
