Ask Poptropica Siri is a Q&A segment here on the PHB where you, dear readers, are invited to send in your Poptropica questions to have them answered with all the wisdom you can expect from a Smart Icicle.

Hello fellow Poptropicans, welcome back to Ask Poptropica Siri! Hope you are all having a great summer. Let’s answer some questions:

In your opinion, who are the best non-villain character(s) in Poptropica? ~Silver Tiger

For me, the best non-villain characters are Harold Mews, Basho, Amelia, and the Baron (I know, I know, the Baron was technically a villain in Monkey Wrench, but she is good or neutral now, since she sells stuff on her airship). I like these characters because each of them remind me of what I am like in real life, or my favorite interests.

The Baron is my favorite because she reminds me of my interest in pirates. Harold Mews from Cryptids Island is my second fave right from the beginning because I like his interest in catching mythical creatures like the Giant Squid, Bigfoot, etc. Basho from Red Dragon Island is my third fave since I enjoy Asian culture. And I started to like Amelia after I completed her mini-quest. (Her facial expressions when the player finds the cargo were cute — it reminded me a bit of anime.)

What is your favorite store item(s) that isn’t a costume? ~GreedyShadow

I would have to go with all the clubhouse decor. I like it when there are themes — like summer, Rumpelstiltskin, and Dr. Hare (way back when Poptropica Worlds was still a thing). Some of my favorite clubhouse decor are the wallpapers, various mythical creatures (especially the phoenix, mermaid, and unicorn), and some of the picture frames (the Dr. Hare one is cute).

You’ve been giving me some hard but good questions, and the next one is no exception! This one is more about my fandom activity than the game itself, but since I get asked so much, I want to share my response with you readers today.

A Grave Mystery: Perhaps a new perspective would help.

Hello everyone, Dizzy Feather here with round two of “What’s Missing?” To make things a little easier than last time, I’m including a hint and Hangman-style placeholder with each one. Here’s how the game works:

I’ll show you screenshots from Poptropica with a detail covered up, and you try to guess what the missing piece is. Leave your guesses in the comments of this post, and in about a week I’ll share the answers and shout out those who got any of them correct! A couple of rules:

No cheating! Don’t go in-game to the area shown to find the answers, and don’t copy someone else’s answers (best not to look before sharing yours). Not only would that be cheating others, but you’ll be taking the fun away from yourself!
Have fun! It’s just a game. Don’t pressure yourself to get them all.

Now that we’ve got that down, let’s begin with this Jade Scarab edition puzzle! You may need to click on images to view them in full.

Fanfic: The Witch’s Heart, Part 3/6 🧙‍♀️

Heart is back once again, and we’re halfway through my fanfic! Not long to go before we arrive at the conclusion to Alouette’s tale. It’s been wild in Poptropica recently with the Baron missing, potentially kidnapped by Rumpel. Things are starting to heat up here in The Witch’s Heart, too…

We last left off at the possibility of Fairytale Island being in danger, again. So is it? Time to find out!

CITIZENS of Fairytale Island are gathering around the king’s castle, where the huge dragon has decided to land. The SEVEN DWARVES are all panicking at the thought of the dragon eating all of Snow White’s animals. Some are speculating that the king is behind this, and overall no one is having a good time.

SABRINA arrives in the middle of the chaos and casts a magic shield around the citizens, protecting them from any incoming dragon attacks. ALOUETTE watches her mother from a distance.

SABRINA:

Mighty dragon of the unknown lands, we show no harm to you, and we will return your child with no hesitation.

The giant dragon does not seem to be listening to SABRINA at all. Instead it yawns and continues staring at the citizens. ALOUETTE holds up PEARL so the giant dragon can see it.

ALOUETTE:

Hey look! Unharmed! I’m handing Pearl back to you!

ALOUETTE walks towards the dragon and is about to hand PEARL back when the GIANT DRAGON suddenly roars, scaring the SEVEN DWARVES and the THREE LITTLE PIGS. Even PEARL seems scared and immediately curls up into a ball.

ALOUETTE:

Weird, if I was a mom, I would do anything to get my children back. Not scare them away.

Realizing the peacefulness of the dragon, SABRINA lowers the magic shield she put around the citizens, before turning to face them.

SABRINA:

The dragon shows no interest in harming us! We are safe. You may now leave while I figure out why this dragon is even here in the first place.

Hearing this reassuring news, the CITIZENS leave, knowing that their days could continue along in peace. (Or will they?) SABRINA turns to face the giant dragon again.

SABRINA:

If your child is not what you want, then I have no idea what you want!

ALOUETTE watches the GIANT DRAGON look disappointed, yet also looking at the castle with interest.

ALOUETTE:

Is something happening in the castle? Like you know, a certain goblin kidnapping happy endings again?

The GIANT DRAGON nods, although still looking disappointed.

ALOUETTE:

Only one way to find out.

Climbing up the stairs to the castle, ALOUETTE uses a levitation spell to lift herself up to the balcony. The castle seems quiet, too quiet. ALOUETTE casts another spell, which summons a crystal ball that reveals what is going on in the castle.

ALOUETTE:

Oh no…

The scene cuts to the gardens outside the castle.

ALOUETTE: (off screen, shouting)

It better not be him again!!

Birds fly away from the garden and Sabrina looks up at the castle, confused as to what’s going on.

Yeah, this island can’t seem to catch a break. First happy endings are stolen, and now something bad is happening in the castle? And who is the one behind this? Find out when part 4 is out! See you guys later!
