Bundle up, friends! The merry times for members continue with the next batch in the 12 Days of Member Gifts. Stay warm with the Charming Winter Outfit and Charming Winter Boots (Day 5)!
And adding to Poptropica’s collection of pandemic related items are Sweet Sanitizers on Day 6! These handheld bottles come in three styles: strawberry, watermelon, pineapple. (That last one might even save you from any future Zomberry attacks.)
Remember, you can become a member anytime during the month of December to get all the 12 Days of Member Gifts and have one last chance to play all the classic islands on Flash before it’s gone by the end of 2020! Speaking of which (this one’s for non-members too)…

Hey, everyone! The Pop Creators are continuing to thank their members during the “12 Days of Member Gifts” event. We already saw the first set of December gifts, so now let’s take a look at the new stuff so far!
On the second day of December, Poptropica gave members a gift fitting of 2020: Winter Masks. These festive face masks let players be fashionable in the game as well as remind them to stay safe IRL.
On the third day, members received the ultra cool Snowmobile, which can travel on any island whether or not it’s snowing. And most recently, on the fourth day, members met the short and stout Snowman Follower. Great additions to Pop’s collection of member gifts.
Moving on from member gifts, let’s take a look at some sneak peeks and shout-outs. Over on Instagram, Poptropica shared a new sneak peek for the near-complete Dr. Hare minigame. The video clip below shows some gameplay accompanied by a jazzy upbeat tune. In regards to the game’s title, the Creators have narrowed the list down to two names and will reveal the official title next week.
But enough about Dr. Hare. Let’s talk about Dr. Beev! The latest entry in the “Video of the Week” series is a speedpaint video by Pop fan artist Birdie Bea. Watch her draw this cool poster based on the fandom’s favorite animal-themed scientist.

Hey Poptropicans! As promised earlier, Poptropica is back with 12 Days of Member Gifts, a December tradition that began in 2018.
The first day of December brings members a winter clubhouse bundle which contains a chocolate fountain, cozy fireplace, and cute white pompom wreath. Look for these items in “Decorate” mode!
If you get a membership at any point in December (perhaps as a holiday present?), you can get all of the 12 Days of Member Gifts! The gifts will automatically be added to your account if you’re a member, the Creators’ Blog confirmed. They will also be updating this other post to share what member gifts are being given in the next couple of weeks, so check back there (or the PHB!) for updates.
Non-members, we’ve got something for you too! We’ve updated our list of glitching tools to include a few new ones: Beat ‘Em All and Card Collector developed by Dangerous Icicle, and Poptro-Closet by supersiu. They’re just what they sound like. Hey, Poptropicans! Today, we’ll be covering the two newest store updates. While there isn’t anything new for the most part, some new costumes were added to both the Pop store and the pet barn. Let’s take a look at what’s in stock!
The current costumes available are Boss Babe, Neon Rocker, Pumpkin Pleasure, Aqua Rebel, Natural Breeze*, Gossip Girl, Coolin’, Rainbow Ride, Friendly Face Masks, Cozy Cocoa, Tie-Dye Hoodie, Cool for School, Cheerleader, Soda Pop, Large Fry, and Southern Belle. All items except Natural Breeze are available to all players.
Poptropicans aren’t the only ones who get to dress up. Stop by the Pet Barn to purchase three new items for your furry or scaly companions: the Fedora, the Blue Mask, and the Fall Scarf.
At the end of their latest post, the Creators teased this year’s upcoming “12 Days of Member Gifts,” which has been a Poptropica tradition since 2018. Starting on December 1st, active members will receive daily gifts over the course of twelve days. The Creators also assured that players who become members later in December (perhaps a holiday gift?) will still be able to receive these one-of-a-kind gifts.

The three items for the paying members are: a Walkman (which is a modified, black version of the 80s Walkman from American Girl: Courtney’s Island), a slaying RainbowFurryJacket, and an adorable LlamaFollower.
Considering the creators completely skipped over October and missed the opportunity to give us some cool, spooky-themed goodies (*ahem*), I think these items act as a bit of a payoff — because this is a pretty cool bunch in my opinion. 😁

Only 1 (marked with *) of the 5 new items are members only, so that still leaves a good selection of cuteness, once again, to players who don’t have a membership.
Very adorable, am I right? (Of course I am.) My bunny, Clover, will totally be rocking the oversized spectacles and green cloak — and I think my lizard, Ivy, will love those pearls.
If all that wasn’t enough, we’ve also been given a different array of clubhouse décor including an armoire, a funky bookcase, and a diverse variety of appealing wallpapers. Neato!
On the topic of stores, it’s been found that the new release of Mythology Island doesn’t have a Quippy store, making it the only island on the Haxe version of Poptropica to not feature the little common room droid. It may show up later though, like how it did on Time Tangled Island. I guess we’ll wait and see.

Also, on the Creators’ Blog, Poptropica has (hopefully) finally satisfied the fandom’s curiosity by addressing some of the questions people had regarding the game’s fate post the shutdown of Flash at the end of this year. Here’s a snippet of what they had to say (Check out their post to see the full responses):
Once Flash is no longer supported, your account will still be accessible. Your existing account will work in the Haxe version of the game too. You’ll keep your stuff and we’ll give you a mega credit bonus so you can get to shopping for anything available that wasn’t in the Flash game. For those of you who started playing Poptropica in March 2020 or later you’re already in the Haxe version!
We’re also working on how to make sure you can play all the classic islands in their original format. We know our long-term fans love the classic Poptropica they grew up with and we want to keep that going forever.

Another thing — Short Glove, over on the Poptropica Help Chat (PHC), shared a short video demonstrating how to costumize your character on the Haxe version of Poptropica in case you wanted to know how. I know I’ve been wanting to! It’s kind of ingenious, really.
