Ahh… that sure was a nice cup of water.

Yes, water = food = French-like Island sneak peek! Thanks, Funny Penguin, for the news! Anyway, Comic Kid, one of the Poptropica Creators, posted this today:

Also, there’s a new advertisement building on 24 Carrot, Super Power, and Spy Island, called “Disney Space Buddies Dog Park”! Thanks, Shiny Leaf, for telling us about the new ad, and Director Lion (Gentle Lion) for informing us on the locations! It’s so famous there’s even a post about it on the Creators’ Blog – and it’s rare that they actually talk about the advertisements! I think that maybe Disney, the company being advertised for their Space Buddies movie, paid extra money to have their ad building advertised on the Creators’ Blog too (it’s just a guess though). Here’s a cut-and-paste image I took of the outside part of the plane-shaped advertisement (yes, it may be a little uneven): 😛

Inside it, you can do a mission. Walk into the room behind the man in the space suit, and click on the green button next to the space helmet. The doors to the room will close, but the door on the ceiling opens up, letting you fly through space! Fly up there!

Your task is to find the 5 missing space dogs around outer space (actually, the black area around the ad building). If you find one, all you have to do it touch it (or crash it) to transport it back to the building. The bad news is, there is a limit of time – “oxygen” – you have to find all five space dogs. The good news is, there is no limit on how many times you can try the mission in case you don’t succeed the first time. The bad news is, there are a couple meteors out in space that, if you crash into, will “WHACK” you like the criminals of Super Power Island. Good luck!

Oh, and there’s prizes too (yay, more good stuff!). But the bad news (again) is that it’s for a limited time only, which means it’s only temporary. Anyway, here they are:

• Disney: Space Buddies Space Suit (see the figure on the right)
  An awesome white space suit (it doesn’t have any special effects, though).
• Disney: Space Buddies Firecracker
  When you use it (by pressing the “Use” button on its item card), a firecracker will fly around the screen, then at the end, shows the “Disney Space Buddies” logo.

By the way, we are apparently still having a problem controlling what we say when it comes to new posts on the Creators’ Blog. Yep, you know what I mean – and this notice, now appearing for the 5th time, will tell you if you don’t get it!

Special Note: It is not a race to be the first to tell everyone about a new post on the Creators’ Blog. We’ve had many comments saying the same thing (”New post on Creators’ Blog!!!!”) and it is very annoying. If someone has already mentioned it, don’t bother to say it again – it’s not necessary. If people continue to spam and repeat the same thing over an over again, it will show us that you cannot handle this and we will stop giving out credits. Please comment appropriately. Thanks!
