Hello, everyone! My name is Gentle Dolphin, and I have been a long-time fan of Poptropica. I like drawing, baking, and being an overall dork. In real life, I'm pretty much the same except for the fact that my hair is brown instead of pink. You can befriend me on Poptropica if you'd like. My username is "magicalyre".

Spellbinding sketches, dazzling décor, and famed felons ✏️✨😈

Gentle Dolphin

Hello, everyone! It’s time check out some new Poptropica updates regarding drawing, interior decorating, and kidnapping. Need context for that last sentence? Keep on reading!

First, the Creators announced a new mini quest coming to Poptropica. While they didn’t say much regarding the story, they did gladly share a thumbnail sketch. It shows Amelia and a black cat taking a selfie while two other characters are in the middle of a magical baking mishap.

The woman with curly hair and glasses looks familiar. In fact, her likeness is featured alongside Amelia and (formerly) Xavier on a set of statues on Home Island. It looks like we’ll finally get to learn the identity of this studious sorceress. 🧙‍♀️📚

Five new furnishings have graced the clubhouse store! Players can decorate their virtual homes with a Poptropica flag (100 credits), a set of lighting panels (75 credits), a summer wreath (150 credits), and an oil diffuser (100 credits). Meanwhile, members can make their clubhouses extra colorful with the LED fan (150 credits). Here’s a picture I took of the new items in my clubhouse.

A new video showed up on the official Poptropica TikTok account, but it also made an appearance in Pop’s latest Instagram story. This new video highlights some of the more problematic elements of our favorite villains, particularly the fact that they all share kidnapping tendencies. Here are a few stills as an example.

Last and certainly not least, Golden Wolf returned to the Creators’ Blog to share more of her art. In her latest guest post, GW showcased fan art of myself, PHB founder Slanted Fish, and fellow writer Smart Icicle! Thank you so much, Golden Wolf! ❤️🥰❤️🥰

GW also mentioned that, every month, she will draw an anime character as a Poptropican and share it on her future guest posts. As an example, she drew Sakura Haruno from Naruto, which was featured in Poptropica’s July Costume Contest video compilation. Which anime character do you want to see drawn in the Poptropica style?

That’s all I have for you today. What do you think the new mini quest will be about? Which villains should be called out next? Let us know in the comments below!

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Creative custom looks for your home and yourself 🏡👕✨

Gentle Dolphin

Hey, Poptropicans! This is Gentle Dolphin bringing the latest Poptropica news! Today’s post will discuss the newest store items, Instagram fan art features, and a very fashionable guest writer. Let’s dive in!

Six new furniture items are available for purchase in the clubhouse store. Everyone can decorate their clubhouses with the storage trunk, white dresser, selfie ring light, and skateboard. However, members can acquire the mobile phone and pineapple picture.

After some furniture shopping, why not treat yourself to some new clothes from Amelia’s Adventure Outfitters? Our current store lineup features familiar fashions, but there is also a brand new Galaxy Hoodie, which members can purchase for 150 credits.

Nothing at Amelia’s store suits your style? Don’t forget to hop onto the Red Baron’s airship for some exclusive items, including the winning entries of June’s costume contest! Act fast before the Red Baron sets off on another adventure and leaves these costumes lost to time.

While you’re buying clothes from either Amelia or the Red Baron, think about how you can mix and match pieces of your new duds to create a unique look for your popsona. Golden Wolf, the newest guest writer to grace the Creators’ Blog, made a post showcasing some custom-made outfits ranging from cozy to classy.

Golden Wolf was also happy to provide original art of her popsona! I love her cool street fashion in this picture, especially with her two colorful hair streaks. 💙💜

Last but not least, the Poptropica Creators shared more amazing fan art in their most recent Instagram stories. There’s fan art of classic Pop characters as well as some July costume contest submissions. The story also included our IG post advertising the PHB’s Poppies 2021 event! Thanks for the shoutout, Creators!

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Be our guest for this sweet new quest 🍭🍬

Gentle Dolphin

Hey, Poptropicans! The Creators suddenly announced a brand new mini quest coming soon to Poptropica.

Go crazy for the Candy Crazed Mini Quest! Here’s a sweet peek at the upcoming quest which supposedly ties into Fairytale Island:

The announcement also revealed two new characters who will be making their debut in this quest. Meet chewy chums Dot and Gummy! While they may not be major characters in the story, they are cute faces who help liven the sugary atmosphere. Who wants one of these guys as a follower?

It’s strange that a new mini quest was announced just one week after the release of the Lost Cubs Mini Quest. The promo art is super cute and colorful, but how will the finished product play out? Will it be a sweet surprise or a terrible toothache? We will find out for ourselves when this mini quest comes out next week on Thursday, May 27!

The Creators’ Blog also put out another call for guest writers. Do you love Poptropica and want to share your love with other fans? This time, the Creators are allowing guest writers to submit more than just their writing. Guests can also submit their fan art and fan videos, too!

If you are at least 13 years old, feel free to apply through Pop’s official Submissions page. Let the Creators know what you can contribute to the official Poptropica Creators’ Blog. You can submit anything as long as it relates to Poptropica.

If writing for the Creators’ Blog isn’t your thing, then you could submit a guest post to us here at the Poptropica Help Blog! There’s no age limit for writers, and your work will reach a similar audience of Poptropica players. You can learn more by visiting our Write for the PHB page.

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Lost Cubs, Survival Island

Cub your enthusiasm for the Lost Cubs Mini Quest 🐻

Gentle Dolphin

Hey, Poptropicans! After an accidental leak and two sneak peeks, the Lost Cubs Mini Quest is now here for all players!

You can start the rescue mission by one of two ways. The first way is to visit Home Island and talk to Ishmael, who is being crushed by a sad mama bear. The second way is that you can fly to the quest, which can be found on the first page of the map.

Starting the quest greets you with a comic explaining that the mama bear lost her cubs in the wilderness of Survival Island. Now it’s our job to help reunite this fuzzy family! Click “Start” to begin the quest!

As some of you already know, the Lost Cub Mini Quest was prematurely released earlier this month. How does the finished product compare to the leak? The gameplay is exactly the same with the player needing to collect the five cubs, akin to some of Pop’s ad games. While the gameplay is the same, there is a lot more going on visually in the final version. Leaves and grass are blown by the strong wind, and the blizzard makes finding the cubs a bit more difficult.

  • Final version
  • Original leak

Thankfully, unlike the leak, completing the quest doesn’t take you to an infinite loading screen. Finding the cubs on your first playthrough rewards you with a heartwarming reunion, a humble 250 credits, and a cute Lost Cub Mini Quest follower (which can actually roar)!

In the Creators’ behind-the scenes look at the quest, it was stated that players could replay the quest multiple times to earn more credits. UPDATE: The Creators’ Blog clarified that 250 credits should be awarded for the first playthrough, followed by 50 for each subsequent play. (In the first day of release, some players have reported earning 50, 20, or even no credits at all! If you’re having this issue, contact Pop support.)

And that was the anticipated Lost Cubs Mini Quest! Personally, I thought it was pretty lacking since it’s just a simple collect-a-thon game. It’s also strange that this Survival Island-based mini quest was released before Survival Island’s remaining four episodes were converted to Haxe. We all wish that the Creators would focus more on making and porting islands and less on delivering half-baked side quests.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this quest? Let us know in the comments below! Thank you all for reading the Poptropica Help Blog and bearing with our unbearable puns! 😜🐻

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!
