Sporty and artsy costumes in time for August! ☀

Hello Poptropicans! We have a bit of store-related news, as well as some more fanart features on Instagram and the August costume contest!

Naturally with the Olympics hype there is bound to be some sports-related goods up, and this month in the Poptropica Store is the new Speedy Cycler costume. There are also several classic costumes and more recent ones, including the Spring Floral Dress, Barbarian Warrior, and the epic Acidic Dinosaur!!! 🦖

The Creators also included a reference to a certain… let’s just say a speedy cycling incident in their blog post.

On the subject of costumes, the Monthly Costume Contest has returned for August! So, if you ever get a good idea that you would like to see in-game, don’t be afraid to show off your creativity! It’s quite epic to see fan-made creations in game, and it’s always good to practice your drawing and design skills!

Hey Poptropicans, art appreciation and application incoming! We’ve got a slew of coloring pages, fan art features, and a spotlight on the Baron’s airship. Let’s pop right in!

First up, the fan-driven Poptropica coloring book is here, compiling entries from the recent Coloring Creations Challenge. Check out all the coloring pages on the Creators’ Blog or even print out the PDF! 🖍✨

To share your own creations, or even your colored-in versions of the pages in the book, you can upload your pics to Poptropica’s submissions form or tag them on Instagram @PoptropicaCreators with the #Poptropica or #PoptropicaFanArt hashtags. Let the colors fly! 🤩

Speaking of art, more fan art features await on the Pop Creators’ Instagram story! Among the OCs and villains, we also find a fun four-panel comic with Amelia vs the Red Baron on how to deal with enemies.

In other news, there’s a new guest post on the Creators’ Blog from Warrior Moon giving a glowing review on every aspect of the Baron’s airship. Funny thing is, the post was clearly written a month ago as it references no-longer-available items from the Baron’s first visit in July.

And while Warrior Moon gives the airship a 10/10, not everyone seems to agree: in the comments, you can find an anonymous review that concludes with a 6/10 rating. However you feel about the Baron’s buoyant boat, remember that it’s only here until this Friday, so get this month’s goods before they’re gone! Stay afloat, Poptropicans. ✌️

Happy weekend, Poptropicans! We’ve got schooling vids, villain doodles, and more amusement from the realms of social media. Let’s pop right in!

As July winds down, the Pop Creators are already getting ready for back-to-school season with a new video about “First Day Fits: Poptropica Edition” shared on Instagram and TikTok. The featured look, which is narrated, includes “an appropriate pair of shorts,” a “cute school bag,” and plenty more pieces to help you create your most fashionable self!

And speaking of TikTok, looks like there’s been a couple more vids posted there since we last checked. In addition to the cool schoolgirl, we also have a narrated video about the Baron’s airship (also seen on IGTV without narration) as well as Cinder the punk rock princess. 🔥
