Hey Poptropicans, are you ready for costumes galore?? 👗
The Pop Creators received tons fantastic entries for July’s monthly costume contest — enough to create a picture slideshow nine minutes long! Just take a look at the fandom’s creativity:
Picking a winning design was “an impossibly hard choice to make,” according to the Creators’ Blog, but in the end they went with the Ice Cream Cat by Silver Flame. 🍦🐈 As promised, the costume will soon be available for free through the returning Baron’s airship. Sweet!
While the video above contains loads more amazing costume ideas (and some copyrighted characters like Bendy, Baldi, Minecraft creepers, and more), I’d like to highlight a few of my personal favorites with a mini slideshow of my own. Mine were at 3:16 and 3:42. There were a lot of great submissions. I will say the one that looked like a Pokemon had me scratchin my head a bit. Not sure how they would be able to turn that into a costume.

Guys just a reminder you can’t do copyrighted material no matter how much you want to. If the creators did put copyrighted costumes in the game they would be slapped with a lawsuit by the company you stole from. It doesn’t matter if it’s “inspired” you can’t use it. Put your energy towards making something new rather than just borrowing someone else’s design
Well said. It’s really annoying, seeing people submit stolen art instead of actually trying to come up with something original. I also don’t understand how a sheet of character designs that already exist in Poptropica made it into the video…?
Yea I actually saw some designs that were too real and then I realised they were just already in the game. They made it in the vid but my submission wasn’t even shown 😦

Is it possible to get the ice cream cat still, even though it’s October, or no? If so, how do I do it? Cuz I recently made an account and would like the ice cream cat, but I doubt that I can get it. Is there a way?
Perhaps someone will ASG it or put it in Card Collector in the future, but I don’t think there’s a way as of right now. Sorry.
