We finally have the winner of the unofficial “Favorite Poptropica Character Tournament”! I’m sorry I didn’t keep you PHB readers updated on the whole tournament. I’ll do better next time. Anyway, the final round saw Dr. Hare vs Ringmaster Raven competing for the fans’ love and adoration. After tallying the votes, one animal-themed supervillain came out on top. And the winner is… DR. HARE! 🐰🏆

Congratulations to Dr. Hare, and thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament — even the Pop Creators popped in for the fun!

This week, I have been hosting a “Favorite Poptropica Character Tournament” on Twitter! In spite of the public outcry regarding certain matchups, it has been fun watching the votes ~~and tears~~ pour in. Round 2 is currently underway, and you reading the PHB can participate! You can vote for your favorites via Twitter, or this Google Forms poll! 🗳️🏆

Now we return to our regularly scheduled blogging. Adventure Outfitters welcomed a new display just in time for April. Out with the green stuff, and in with the stylin’ fits. Paired with the chic fashion are a few random goodies like a smiling cloud, a reversible octopus plush, a jetpack, and a rideable bug.

As pointed out by Dizzy Feather on the Poptropica Help Chat, this month’s selection of items is near identical to last April’s display. While recycling monthly displays isn’t new for Poptropica, it gets old for players itching to collect new gear. It’s almost like they’re saving the new stuff for members, “wooden” you think?

Speaking of which, April’s member gifts have flown into paying players’ inventories. Members can now don the Woodworks Outfit, Woodworks Sword, and Woodworks Wings. While the wings won’t carry you through the wind, they can pop in and out for a cool visual effect.

Spring forward to Mission Atlantis 💐🌊

Hello, everyone! It’s time to spring into action and cover the latest Pop news. Let’s dive in!

The aquatic adventure, Mission Atlantis Island, received two updates on Haxe this week. Members can now dive into Episode 2: Fortress of the Deep, and non-members can finally play Episode 1: Into the Deep, which had been locked behind a paywall for over a year! 🌊🤿

If you can’t wait to explore all of Atlantis, you can play the rest of Mission Atlantis (and plenty of other islands) on Steam or with AS3 Flashpoint. And for a helping hand, don’t miss our Mission Atlantis Island Guide!

As you might have noticed, in the above photo, my island progress bars are empty! Some players have experienced this glitch as well. Don’t worry; your years of progress haven’t been deleted. Revisiting an island sets its progress bar back to normal, but it empties again the next time you log in. Let’s hope this glitch gets fixed soon. 🤞

Before you dive into the depths of Mission Atlantis, stop and smell the flowers on Home Island. The cold winter snow has melted away, and spring has sprung with a colorful array of plant life. Why not celebrate with a seasonal look from Adventure Outfitters? 💐👗

Plaid Patterns Battle Bionic Bee Blitz 🧵🐝

Hey there, Poptropicans! The Pop Creators gave us new items to buy, new videos to watch, and new teasers to ponder. Let’s take a look at what they shared today, starting with a preview of a loading screen advertising the upcoming Goofball Island side quest!

This screenshot confirms the quest’s title to be “Blitz on the Fritz” and gives us a better idea of the storyline. It seems that Blitz, a red robot bee, is wreaking havoc across Poptropica and causing various islands to either go goofy or become bland. Players might need to do some island-hopping to complete this quest, much like they did during Rumpel’s riddle hunt in Fairytale Island’s side quest.

Is Blitz acting alone or is it working with its bee buddies? Is Katie Dare the mastermind of this island-transforming spree? Members can tune in to stop this byte-sized pest and return Poptropica to normalcy! 🤖🐝

Before a bionic swarm hits Poptropica, let’s see what new items are in store this week. Do Mondays get you in a shopping mood? This drawing by Friendly Feather sums up our mood whenever Pop updates its in-game shops. No Amelias are available for purchase ~~yet~~. 🛍️✏️

Adventure Outfitters continues Pop’s winter fashion trend with the Frosty Babe outfit, which boasts super cute red plaid flannel vest and earmuffs. Everyone can purchase this flannel-tastic outfit for 250 credits. ❤️🖤

The clubhouse store added five new winter decorations and two returning classics. All players can buy the Pinecone Garland (100 credits), Hanging Snowflake (75 credits), Scented Candle (75 credits), and Tea Set (200 credits). Members can also buy the all-new Honeycomb Shelf (150 credits) as well as the returning Pop Star Poster (75 credits) and Stained Glass Window (250 credits).

Two new videos have been uploaded to Poptropica’s Youtube channel. The first video is a nostalgic lookback at Nabooti Island‘s mancala minigame. What are your thoughts on this classic game of stones and strategy?

The second video is admittedly more interesting. This video confirms that PoptropiCon: Episode 2 will be returning soon! While this video is basically a reupload of the original PoptropiCon trailer from 2014, the news of another PoptropiCon episode returning to the game is exciting. 🦸

Last but not least, the Pop Creators recently featured a costume contest submission in their latest Instagram story. IG user clovermulo aka Curious Heart designed a stylish Thrifty Girl costume complete with preppy plaid threads, caramel highlights, and sparkly heart earrings. If you want to enter this month’s costume contest, submit your designs before January 17^th at 8pm PST.

Wacky Winning Clubhouses and Frosty Fashionable Gifts 🏠❄️

The Creators just announced the winners of the Goofy Clubhouse Challenge. Without further ado, let’s give a crazy congratulations to Incredible Flame, Lucky Star, and Pink Crush! We have some images of these loony lodgings below, but you can watch the full clubhouse tours on Pop’s Instagram post. 🤪🏠

Over on the Creators’ Blog, the Creators also confirmed that there will be a Grapple-Pap mini quest available this December! The announcement post is accompanied by an image of a snow-covered house, which was used to tease last year’s Grapple-Gift mini quest. Will this year’s quest be a brand new experience, or will it be the same as last year? We’ll have to wait and see.

The 12 Days of Member Gifts is reaching its end, so let’s highlight some new exclusive winter wear. We know that players received Crystal Couture on Day 8; however, unbeknownst to us, pets also received a matching shawl that day. Day 9 brought on the Cabin Cozy PJs. Members got the Snowy Supreme and Stay Frosty outfits on Day 10, and their pets got a red Winter Outfit on Day 11.
