The Missing Sneak Peak and Updates

I’m sorry but the post is not missing.

The PHB Sneak Peaks have been cancelled. This is due to an overload of work i have to do.

Maybe in the next couple weeks i can make a post with all the sneak peaks in one dedicating everything that has happened in the past 10 weeks. I will also tell you if it came true or not. The PHB Sneak Peaks will be no longer. They have retired. But don’t panic. Something even better will be happening.

Well after that sad news i have some great things to tell you. Well you can call them PHB Sneak Peaks if you want :P.
But these sneak peaks are for our site.

In the future we will be updating the costume section, a faster way for you to communicate and receive updates.

A HUGE thing will be happening in the near future. Also we have decided that every month we will be posting something BIG. It will be like PHB Sneak Peaks. But only BIGGER. Involving you.

Wondering what the “super-special” outfits designed by the Creators were for? Thanks to Rough Panda‘s quick update and Director D’s blog post, we do! (Well, for 2 of those costumes at least…)

A few weeks ago, you might remember that the Creators posted a special sneak peek of two rock stars. Guess what, they’re now shirts! 😆

This is what Director D said on his post:

For all of you who are hungry for more Poptropica t-shirts, we’ll be posting a new design in our store every Friday for the next month. Stay tuned!

This means that during the month of April 2009, a new Poptropica T-shirt will be available every Friday (in total, there should be 4 shirts coming out next month)! Because the secret agent from Spy Island won the Popularity Contest, we can expect at least one of those designs to be of him. But what will the other ones be? Are the other “super-special” outfits going to become tees, too? Comment with your opinions! 😀

What was that? “That, little knight, was the sound of the great metallic creature, the Dragon of Dangers,” a mysterious voice echoed in the misty red background of what appeared to be the dragon’s lair. The red knight jumped in surprise, and found himself face-to-face with a large, scary-looking green-and-brown dragon made of metal. Its glowing red eyes seemed to glare at him. “Yikes!” The knight gulped, and, in great fear, fainted to the ground.

Will you have the courage to face strong opponents on Astro-Knights Island? Here’s a piece of advice: Don’t be like the little red knight, but instead use your logic to bypass even the scariest monsters.

Hazmat Hermitavatar image
Looks like there’s another new kid on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog: Hazmat Hermit, who first appeared on March 26, 2009 to show us the sneak peek shown above. He is an NPC (non-player character) at the County Prison of Main Street, Super Power Island. If you want to visit him, he’s the one standing on top of the meteor and wearing the Hazmat suit. This is what the name “Hazmat Hermit” means:

Hazmat: an abbreviation for ‘hazardous material’
Hermit: a person who has withdrawn to a solitary place; any person living in seclusion

An isolated being wearing dangerous clothing?! Maybe we should keep away from him, then…

Popularity Contest #6: The Final Round!

Before we get to that, let’s take a look at #5’s contestants: Poptropica’s criminals!

D, otherwise known as Vince Graves of Giza 1, Nabooti Island, received 63% of the votes and was declared the winner. Now we see that he has moved onto the finals, along with all the others that were voted for…

I guess it doesn’t pay to lead a life of crime, Vince, because C, a handsome agent at Spy Island’s Headquarters is winning by far, claiming 57% of all votes! Wow! It also proves how popular Nabooti Island is – 2 of its characters are in the Finals! This poll isn’t over yet, though: there’s still a chance for the others to win!

To make things better, the winner of the Finals gets a T-shirt design made of them, the Poptropica Creators say. They will probably be sold on Poptropica’s online Zazzle.com store, “T-shirts & More”!
