Resignation Note of GE

Golden Eagle

Hey guys. It’s GE.

I’d just like to let you know that I’m resigning from the PHB, PHF, and PTB (Poptropical Thunder’s Blog), and Poptropica altogether. I’ve lost interest in it all, and its just become a distraction. I’m also joining track, which I’m really looking forward to. I’ve lost touch with my real life friends over the summer, too.

I’ve already made up my mind, guys. I’m sorry, but nothing will change that.

I’d like to thank all of you for making it a great time while I was here. But I have some special thanks to give out.

First, I’d like to thank Hijuyo, for letting me join this great blog.

I’d like to thank Poptropical Thunder, who was a great friend, and let me join her blog, the first one I ever worked on.

I’d also like to thank Silent Witness/ The Boot, who’s stories thoroughly entertained me, and always was there for me to talk to, even when I bet I was annoying.

I’d also like to give a big thanks to Cool Wing, who was the first great friend I made on here, and we always had a good time being silly and hyper.

Last but not least, I’d like to thank Neat Whale, who forgave me when I was the jerkiest of jerkwads, and the worst of friends. Thanks again, NW.

I might comment once in a while; I might check by and see how its going.

I’m staying on for the rest of the day and then I’m gone.

GE out.

The Long-awaited Halloween Costume Contest Results! …plus an ad.

Smockers

This is it.  Hopefully, the moment you’ve all been waiting for is here!  Judges Deathstalker/Seph (the MYSTERY judge) and I carefully went through all 114 entries — yes, you read that right; 114 entries 😛 — and narrowed down the costumes until we had come to an agreement on 4 runner-ups and 1 overall winner.  Of course, it’s very hard to select only 5 costumes when there are so many entries for pick.  Especially since we were inundated with contending costumes! I’d like to start off with a round of applause for all of the costumes. *applause* This is sort of a cliché, but you all deserve a pat on the back for a job well done! Everybody pat their back. I SAID TO PAT YOUR BACK! Good. Now, for the runner-ups… Continue reading “The Long-awaited Halloween Costume Contest Results! …plus an ad.” →

The Halloween Festivities Are Already Beginning?

Smockers

Note: By the way, don’t forget to check out 2 very interesting, Halloween-related posts! One by Hijuyo about the many peculiar happenings in the world of Poptropica… and another by Golden Eagle about the many things that the creators are doing for the Halloween celebration! I COMMANDETH YOU TO GO FORTH AND READETH THE ARTICLES!

Note 2: GE asked me to say that she won’t be here mostly for 3 1/2 months due to her need to study for the SATs. 😦 (She is not leaving the PHB or the PHF permanently.) Of course, everybody is sad, but I hope everybody wishes her luck! She deserves it. Everybody here will miss you, GE! Have fun! ;D

Note 3: Added a new rule that might concern a few.

Note 4: Just added a MUST-READ RULE that I accidentally left out! PLEASE READ TO ENSURE THAT YOUR COSTUME WILL BE VALID FOR JUDGING!

Note 5: Oh my, I promise this is the last time I ever update this post. x) Maybe. Anyway, check out the newly released October issue of the Poptropican’s 911! The scariest month of the year is here, and you should get in the know about what’s happening and what happened!

Note 6: The contest has ended. No further submissions will be accepted. Comments are now closed. No exceptions. I hope all of you enjoyed entering the contest; judging will start. Results will hopefully surface around the weekend time. Thanks for all of the entries, too! I roughly counted a whopping 114 costumes entered. Thanks again.

The surprise (that I may have divulged to some of you) is here! I’ve been working on the railroad PHB for almost a year now; my anniversary is in 4 days actually. 🙂 The ride has been fun the whole time, and I knew I couldn’t bask in the happiness alone. My only intent to work for the PHB has always been to become the most popular Poptropican in the world please the viewers and readers as much as possible. That is why the PHB is having the first EVER… Continue reading “The Halloween Festivities Are Already Beginning?” →

PHF Downtime

motionman95

Many of you will experience problems accessing the PHF due to domain name issues. I am currently working on resolving this issue. Before I end this post, I’d like to point out a few things:

And so concludes this post. You can still reach me at The PHF Chat, I’ll only be online when I am working on this issue. I’d also like to say that Smockers and I may have a pleasant surprise for many of you!

MOTION THE ROBOT OUT

EDIT:
This problem has been resolved, and the PHF has moved to thephf.com!

Dare to be devious?

Smockers

The Creators have continued to live up to their promise of updating us with new costumes this whole summer. Today, they added 2 new costumes! The Dare Devil (not to be confused with the “Little Demon”) and the Biker. From the looks of it, the Dare Devil is about to be used as a human cannonball, and the biker is your stereotypical vision comprised of crazy hats and clothes from da hood. =D

^ Dare Devil ^ ^Biker^
^Dare Devil^ ^Biker^

Pretty spiffy hat on that male biker. 😀 But… dare I say (pun intended)? Bikers aren’t complete without bikes you can ride around Poptropica. Make it happen, Creators! As a side note, the space bar action for the Dare Devil gives you quite an egotistical smirk, and with arms on hips, your visor/helmet thingy goes down.

In honor of the all-new Biker suit, Gazek prepared us this awesome picture:

Since we are on the topic of costumes, it might be of mention that you can now organize your costumes in your inventory alphabetically or by date. The costumes are also split in pages for convenience. What do you think? Was this change for the better or just makes it even more trouble when you are trying to find something fast?

What do you think?
What do you think?

Also, we have hit 1,900,000 hits. WOOT! =D Many thanks to everybody for viewing our site! So close to the grand 2 million… maybe in time for my  1-year anniversary at the PHB? =O Keep yourself busy by reading up on Codien’s used-to-be-secret  site, awesome new Cool Stuff, and the September issue of PHB’s monthly Poptropican’s 911! Don’t forget to comment your thoughts if you have any! 😉

Final note: I would also like to let all of you know that everybody from the PHB staff would like to wish anybody whose family was affected by the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001 only happiness, thoughts, and prosperity. We all send our condolences to you out there. God bless.
