Vlad’s New Camera!

Poptropica Creator Vlad the Viking mysteriously gained a nice new camera to hang around proudly on his neck! Thanks to Cheerful Claw for the quick update. Vlad promises to visit Poptropica and take pictures of some players and feature them on the Creators’ Blog – and he calls it ‘Snapshot Sagas’. Today he met Shy Speck, and here’s what he had to say:

I, Vlad, having acquired a shiny new camera, will venture across Poptropica in search of fun and unique Poptropicans to feature on this blog. Today I went to the Coconut Cafe on Shark Tooth Island, and was happy to meet Shy Speck!

Keep your eyes open, you may be featured next time on Snapshot Sagas!

Congratulations on being the first featured Poptropican in Snapshot Sagas, Shy Speck! And to everyone else out there – watch out for Vlad’s camera, who knows when you may meet him on Poptropica!

Counterfeit Island, Sneak Peeks

Turned to Stone

Another sneak peek from the Creators, thanks to Mitchell Brett for the update! We’re not sure which island it’s showing this time, Codien believes its another sneak peak of the French themed island – but whatever it is, it looks pretty cool. There’s a stone building with some statues of Poptropicans lined along the sides of the windows. Before we get into too much detail, here’s the picture:

Blog Post Title: A Stony Stare
Description: Here are some of the great Poptropicans immortalized in stone.

Possibly the French-themed island, as Codien thinks, but we’re not sure for now. Comment about what you think! 🙂

By the way, we’re still having the same problem at PHB about commenting, so for the 3rd time, here’s the important notice you must keep in mind:

Special Note: It is not a race to be the first to tell everyone about a new post on the Creators’ Blog. We’ve had many comments saying the same thing (”New post on Creators’ Blog!!!!”) and it is very annoying. If someone has already mentioned it, don’t bother to say it again – it’s not necessary. If people continue to spam and repeat the same thing over an over again, it will show us that you cannot handle this and we will stop giving out credits. Please comment appropriately. Thanks!

Also, remember to read up on the post below if you haven’t done so already. Be prepared, a Poptropica Creator could play against you next! 😀

Go Tough Skull!

Congratulations, Tough Skull!

“We can’t all be winners,” says Shark Boy, one of Poptropica’s Creators. Today he logged onto Poptropica to play Star Link against Tough Skull, but Tough Skull, living up to his/her name, was tough and wouldn’t let Shark Boy win. Thanks Kaliki for the information about this new post. Shark Boy says:

Every once in a while we like to hop on Poptropica and play against some of you! Sadly, today wasn’t my day…Tough Skull totally trashed me on Star Link. Nice one Tough Skull.

That picture above was included in Shark Boy’s post.  If you want to read more about it, here’s the link:
http://blog.poptropica.com/2009/01/we-all-cant-be-winners.html

Sadly, Star Link doesn’t show the player’s names so we don’t know what Shark Boy’s name on Poptropica was. However, if you see Tough Skull wandering around Poptropica, be sure to congratulate him/her somehow (maybe by challenging him/her to another game of Star Link?)! 😛

Oh, and you better practice your Star Link skills, as well as all the other multiplayer games! You never know when a Creator might challenge you next! 😆

Big Nate Island, Comics, Sneak Peeks

Don’t be tardy!

Don’t be tardy! The school clock says it’s time for class.

You probably guessed it – a Big Nate sneak peek! Thanks to Grumpy Wolf for the reminder! Anyway, this sneak peek is obviously showing a school clock, probably from Nate’s school. Blog picture below:

Blog Post Title: Time for Class
Description: Oh no! I better get to school!

On closer look it seems that the material around the clock is a little broken…

Also, here’s a Big Nate comic from the Creators to keep us all in the spirit of Big Nate. Thanks Blue 6254 for the reminder first.

Anyway, remember to check the other sneak peeks below when you’ve got the time! 😆

Astro-Knights Island, Sneak Peeks

For all your rocket needs…

Yay – another sneak peek! Thanks, Neat Whale for the reminder. This time it seems to be showing the mysterious Mechanical/Medieval island again. From the looks of it, it seems to be a repair shop (or something along those lines) for mechanical equipment, like rockets! The rocket in the sneak peek looks very similar to this previous post of a spacecraft from the Creators: could it be related? Anyway, here’s the blog picture:

Blog Post Title: AstroZone
Description: So where do you go when the nueroplasmic space calibrator breaks down on your VXS-4001 LX spacecraft?
Image URL: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_gw_QYz_mHpo/SWZ_mKzQJTI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/L1TpS3pskE4/s1600-h/astroZone.jpg
Image Name: astroZone.jpg

Based on the description, it seems that part of your rocket, called the “nueroplasmic space calibrator” is going to break down, and you might need to go to AstroZone to fix your spacecraft model VXS-4001!

Also, the flying cheat code (Ctrl + Shift + F5) has been fixed by the Poptropica Creators. Sadly, that means we can’t use it anymore. 😦

By the way, remember to check out these two other Poptropica sneak peeks below if you didn’t do so yet – The Old Captain (Big Nate) and France in Poptropica? (French?).
