Hey Poptropicans, you don’t have to wait much longer for a new Poptropica story, a wintry side-quest teased just last week. The Creators announced that it drops tomorrow! (This post has been updated with a new sneak peek since it was published.)

As Poptropica shared before, this is going to be a limited time event with a new story and new characters. You’ll also get to win special prizes!
And this week, they threw in a couple more details too: “Look for your starting point on Home Island and help solve the mystery.” So now we know there’s going to be a riddle on our hands!
UPDATE: The Creators shared another sneak peek for the upcoming side-quest on Instagram! Looks like we’ll be delivering a Grapple-Pap to Clareta tomorrow…

Hey Poptropicans! It’s mid-December, which means several things: rounding off the flurry of member gifts, some dates to remember, and even a handful of coloring pages when you need a break. Let’s pop into it!
The last of the 12 Days of Member Gifts is here, and it’s a doozy: this Ice Wielder Power is the perfect overlay for a wintry look, reminiscent of the Electrify power but with an animated storm of snowflakes.

There’s winter fun for all in other ways too, and the latest comes in the form of these free winter coloring pagesfrom the Creators’ Blog! In addition to Poptropicans dressed for the cold, we’ve also got snowmen (one melted) and a candy cane. Click the images to open in full size!
Once you’ve opened a coloring page image, you could save them to your device and color them with an art app, or print them out and color them the traditional way. Either way, the Pop Creators would love to see your creations — you can share them on social media with the tag #poptropicart for a chance to have your work featured!
Have you been cooking up an idea for the Design Your Dream Island Contest? Keep in mind that the last day for entries is this Friday, Dec 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST! The winner will be announced ten days later, Dec 28.
Intensifying panic notwithstanding, be sure to use Poptropica’s submission form here when you send off your ideas. And you can share it with us, too, although we can’t make your island real.

Poptropica may have recently given us new face masks for this pandemic season (and more recently for winter), but this is by no means the first time masks have been introduced to the game.

Many a time in our Poptropica adventures, we use masks and similar facial coverings as disguises, protection, or just for the fun of it! They can be found virtually anywhere, much more than we think. Enjoy this gallery of various masks throughout Poptropica!
Whether from Medicine Man from the nostalgic Shark Tooth Island, to fandom fanatics at PoptropiCon, or from ninjas to warriors to the modern-day superhero, all Poptropicans are bound to have embraced the versatility of masks at some point or another.

Hey Poptropicans, it’s been a long time coming, but a new Poptropica story is finally on its way to our game screens!
The Creators’ Blog put out a sneak peek this week featuring a snowy village scene with a house adorned with holiday decorations, including pillars by the door featuring what appears to be Krampus, the horned Christmastime demon of European legend.
The Creators added that they’ve been “putting in some extra hours to make a fun side-quest experience for all players,” promising an “all-new story and all-new characters.”
While it won’t be a full island, we know fans have been eager for more storytelling from Poptropica, so this is exciting! But like recent adventures such as Hoptropica, this wintry tale will be a limited time experience, so stick around Pop this holiday season to find out what it’s about. Speaking of the holidays, the 12 Days of Member Gifts continue to rain down the goodies with various winter items: Winter PJs (Day 9), Cool Winter Outfit (Day 10), and Cool Winter Boots (Day 11).

The Creators have been keeping up with their promise of sharing a “Video of the Week,” and in this fourth week of the series, they’ve shared a video from TikTok that “made the whole Poptropica Creators team laugh pretty hard.”
Bundle up, friends! The merry times for members continue with the next batch in the 12 Days of Member Gifts. Stay warm with the Charming Winter Outfit and Charming Winter Boots (Day 5)!
And adding to Poptropica’s collection of pandemic related items are Sweet Sanitizers on Day 6! These handheld bottles come in three styles: strawberry, watermelon, pineapple. (That last one might even save you from any future Zomberry attacks.)
