As mentioned by Shiny Leaf, here is another Astro-Knights bonus sneak peek from the Creators! To be more specific, it’s Comic Kid on his adventures again… looks like he has pulled another strange emote! Maybe we’ll be able to get to use it someday? Anyway:

Another big discovery about the Poptropica Creators! And no, this one isn’t from the strange place Comic Kid just visited. Let’s give it up for Quick Flame, who tracked down yet another Creator:

I found a Jordan Leary who works for Poptropica for editing or something, he has a website too, I think it’s jordanleary.com or something.

Jordan Leary is another Poptropica Creator – and there’s proof on his website. Stalkers, here’s the details you need:

Job: Flash game developer at Pearson Education, Inc. He’s currently working on Poptropica, he says. Jordan is primarily responsible for the front-end programming, animation, and visual effects.

For some evidence that he is a Creator, check out his website. On the right side of the main page, it says he works for Poptropica. Then click on “Interactive” on Mr. Leary’s site. It will bring up some images that he has apparently worked on, and the very first one listed should show 2 Poptropicans together on Early Poptropica Island! Cool…

It looks like the Poptropica Creators are using their fashion sense to create some more crazy costumes for Poptropica soon! Here’s their latest sneak peek:

Hmm, hmm, hmm – special outfits? What are they for? We don’t know yet. Maybe an advertisement?

Anyway, I’m not sure what they are, but I’ll try to describe them. Going from left to right: a lady with a queen’s robe and some sort of white wig (looks like a lawyer’s wig with jewelry on it), a white-skinned Asian-looking girl with a string instrument and purple dress, a soldier with a big helmet and 2 swords (one in his hand, one on his belt), and a guy in a lion costume, holding a mouse (would that have anything to do with the story, The Lion and the Mouse?). 😛

After reading about Jeff Kinney being a Creator, Grumpy Wolf shares about someone named “Nate Greenwall” who also seems to be a Creator:

I’ve also heard of a man named “Nate Greenwall”, whom they are talking about on other blogs, But I’ll look into it.

His website is http://www.nategreenwall.com/ and on his resumé that he’s worked with Pearson Education Inc. and he joined the Poptropica team in ‘07. He is the one who even designed the Poptropica logo!

Cool – there are now 3 known ways of contacting the Poptropica Creators:

Vlad the Viking: Send him a message on his YouTube channel page, one of his videos, or via private messaging. This requires you to have your own YouTube account, and you must be at least 13 to have one. The link is http://youtube.com/user/vladtheviking/.
Jeff Kinney: Send him an E-mail. This requires you to have your own E-mail address. Jeff’s E-mail address is [email protected].

Anyway, Grey Flame recently discovered on Jeff’s website that Jeff Kinney himself is one of Poptropica’s Creators! Thanks for sharing, Grey Flame!

Click on “Author Interview” at the left side. Under the second Q-and-A that shows up, click on “Next”. On the next page find where it says “Q: Are you a full time writer?” “A:“, the answer, says: “No. I work full-time as a virtual world designer, and I created Poptropica.com. I’m also a full-time dad, so things are very busy for me right now!”

The big news is, there’s now another known way to contact the Poptropica Creators! On Mr. Kinney’s website, click on “Contact” at the left. At the top, it says:

Please note: Because of the amount of E-mail Jeff receives, it’s not possible for him to respond quickly. It might take a few months for Jeff to get your E-mail.

We might be able to ask Jeff Kinney about Poptropica questions by sending E-mails to him! However, as the note says on his website, it might take quite a while before he replies (if he even does at all!).

Colors All Around Us, Maintenance Update

Colors all around us – there are so many different colors everywhere! The earth we are on is an amazing creation. 😀

The Poptropica Creators must have been thinking the same thing. Comic Kid, a Creator, posted an interesting sneak peek of a colorful shop with clown gear. Thanks Blue 6254 for the news! Blog picture below:

This sneak peek looks like it’s showing a nice shop stocked with colored wigs, hats with flowers poking out, balloons, glasses, and more! Comic Kid even seems to be waving to us in that picture. However, I’m not sure which island this sneak peek is for… 😦

Looking on the colorful side, there’s a new poll – no, make that 2 – on the Creators’ Blog. Thanks Cheerful Claw! The first one says: “GIRLS ONLY! – What is your favorite color?” The options are pink, blue, black, purple, yellow, green, red, brown, and white. Pink is winning this one. Don’t feel left out, boys, there’s one for you guys too! Scroll down a little to see the second poll: “BOYS ONLY! – What is your favorite color?” The options are a bit different: black, white, orange, green, red, blue, purple, yellow, and brown. Blue is winning!

Also, Director Lion (Gentle Lion) would like everyone to know that there is an ad between places on some islands such as Early Poptropica called “The Big Apple”. Remember to take a look at the posts below for some interesting Poptropica updates!

Maintenance Update
Last night and this morning Poptropica was down for maintenance. Im guessing it was mostly behind the scenes update, more or less the finishing touches on Bignate island. 😛
But there was one thing that i managed to see.
Poptropica has replaced the Bignate email to Astro-Knights email. Whether it means Bignate is soon to be released or maybe it means Astro will be coming out sooner the we think.
