Highschool Musical starring Maroon Moon

Disney has released Highschool Musical 3: Senior Year on Dvd and Bluray, and to celebrate you can get your own graduation caps on Poptropica. This is the 3rd or 4th Advertisement from Disney, which is scary because we all know what happened to Club Penguin.
But don’t fret. The Advertisement is the school from the movie and is pretty cool. Inside there is the movie preview, a HSM Quiz Game, and of course there is the graduation outfits for boys and girls. Also on the top floor there is the stage from the movie. 😛

You can find the Highschool Musical 3 advertisement on Shark Tooth and Super Power Island. On the other islands are the Yogo Club and another Disney adverts.

Poptropica Creators Blog have released another Snap Shot Saga. This time Vlad the Viking flys over to Super Power Island to make friends with Maroon Moon. This is his story:

Who was that flying Poptropican? Why did she attack me? I was minding my own business while floating around Super Power Island in the airship when she just zoomed by and blasted me! It destroyed the basket I was sitting in and I fell down onto the roof of a large building (falling from somewhere seems to be a common occurrence for me now).

I made my way inside the structure and found a frantic group of people dressed in colorful costumes competing in games like Star Link and Soup Words.

I hopped up out of the fray and another Poptropican followed me to the printing press and challenged me to a friendly game of Balloons where we were evenly matched!

After our game I was able to snap a portrait of her before she sped off… I think she was on her way to help capture that flying menace and bring her to justice before she blasted anyone else out of the sky! I believe in you Maroon Moon!

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled because you never know when I will drop in! (I hope, however, that my drops aren’t as painful as they have been lately.)

Welcome to another wonderful week of ‘Poptropica Help Blog Sneak Peaks’. These posts are posted every week on Sundays. In every new post there will be stories that only we have. And only we post them. These stories are classified and are very secret.
This week’s story is “Monkeying Around”, i’m sorry im not posting an astro-knights sneak peak this week, i thought you might like this more.


-Monkeying Around-
When i say you’re acting like a monkey i mean you are a monkey.

After an exciting adventure with his good pal Big Nate. Codien decided to have a relaxing holiday on the sun backed land of Nabooti. After a quick flight Codien landed on the red hot sand in front of a historic museum. He picked up a map, took a quick tour of the African Tribes, and was ready for a ride around the island. The first destination on Codien’s list was the safari ride, but soon Codien was going to find out he didn’t have to go anywhere to see the wildlife. The wildlife was going to come to him.

Finding lots of banana skins lying around the tree house was the first thing he found strange coming out of the museum. Looking up Codien got the shock of his life. Above him, and around him were many monkeys. Jumping and shouting, eating bananas. Hanging by there tails. It was mayhem.
I don’t know if you have ever been around monkeys before but, monkeys tend to like to throw their own ‘poop’ around the place.  Codien did not know of this disgusting habit and copped a face full of monkey feces. It was not a pretty sight.
Getting out of there as quick as possible, Codien raced down the tree, dodging poo and bananas along the way, ran up to the aeroplane. Grabbed the pilots helmet and flew out of there leaving behind the crazy monkeys (and an angry pilot).
It didn’t look like Codien would be returning any time soon.

He will always love Monkeys, even if they did chuck their own filth at him. But do you love Monkeys?

Ah, you’ve got to love monkeys. And you should because Poptropica will be bringing out a new advertisement (I think) filled with monkeys and other secret animals that i will show you next week. Iv’e never been this excited about Monkeys since i saw them at the zoo yesterday. 😛

Also, if any of you have spotted this out, i was wrong about the new diving game with the gold scuba suit. It was for the new island “Big Nate”. DOH! You can view that post here.

Disneys’ Lucky Socks

Poptropica have released some more secret Disneys advertisements that even i didn’t know they were made, and Vlad the Viking has met up with another poptropican in Snapshot sagas.


Snapshot Sagas: Lucky Socks
On Monday, Vlad the Viking posted another saga on travelling the islands and meeting with poptropicans. This time he had a strange voyage to a new island, where he met with Lucky Socks in Party Time Tower, on Time Tangled Island. Lucky Socks sure was ‘Lucky‘. This is his story:

After a wonderful breakfast of crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes in early poptropica, I set sail in an 8-bit schooner that left harbor early that morning.

The sea was calm, and the sky was clear. This trip was turning out very differently from the perilous voyage I took from Shark Tooth Island on my makeshift raft.

The weather soon changed, however, while I was relaxing in a hammock tied between the masts. A bright light flashed across the sky, nearly blinding me. As the spots in my vision faded I beheld a grand vortex of swirling color where the clouds had once been. I felt myself being pulled up to the vortex.

Crazy visions swirled past me as I flew through the void. I could see far off places like the Great Wall of China, the earthen structures from the Mali Empire, and even a band of my viking brothers stranded on a deserted island in a stormy sea! Many windows into different lands and times all flowed past me as I approached another bright light. I thought I had reached my end.

There was a flash of light, and I found myself in the middle of a street. I sat up, rubbing my bruised beard and checked my camera. Luckily it still worked! I jumped up and looked around to see where I was. A nearby building towered over my head. It was the Party Time Tower! I was sure I would find some Poptropicans to photograph inside, and I was right! Lucky Socks was having fun running around and playing games.

Keep your eyes peeled for me when you travel through Poptropica! You never know where I will end up next! (And for that matter, neither do I!)

Disney Advertisement
Poptropica have released its second Disney Advertisement. This time featuring Phineas and Ferb, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
You can find the advertisement on Early Poptropica, Shark Tooth, Time Tangled, and Nabooti Island. On all the other islands you can still find ‘Disney Space Buddies‘.

Inside the building there is 2 Quiz games based on the two shows. There is also 2 costumes, Phineas from ‘Phineas and Ferb’, and Alex Russo from ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’. I know what you’re thinking. “What about Ferb?” Hopefully they make a costume for him because he’s really cool. 😛
If they do release him please inform us via comment.

Also poptropica has made many new items as informed by Katie. These items include new vests,  new shirts and also new pants for the ladies! There is also a new pink tie.
I havn’t seen any of the new clothing from Poptropica but it seems like they are good.

NOTE:
If you found your name hasn’t been credited today, thats because you did not listen to Scary Tomato. Everyone please look at the previous comments to make sure no one has said it. It gets really annoying for us and for you when you have a pile of comments saying “Oh, Oh, THE NEW POPTROPICA THING ON THE CREATORS BLOGY IS OUTS!!!! PLZ CreDIt MEZ!”

Also, there’s a new advertisement building on 24 Carrot, Super Power, and Spy Island, called “Disney Space Buddies Dog Park”! Thanks, Shiny Leaf, for telling us about the new ad, and Director Lion (Gentle Lion) for informing us on the locations! It’s so famous there’s even a post about it on the Creators’ Blog – and it’s rare that they actually talk about the advertisements! I think that maybe Disney, the company being advertised for their Space Buddies movie, paid extra money to have their ad building advertised on the Creators’ Blog too (it’s just a guess though). Inside it, you can do a mission. Walk into the room behind the man in the space suit, and click on the green button next to the space helmet. The doors to the room will close, but the door on the ceiling opens up, letting you fly through space! Fly up there!disneyspacebuddiessuit

Your task is to find the 5 missing space dogs around outer space (actually, the black area around the ad building). If you find one, all you have to do it touch it (or crash it) to transport it back to the building. The bad news is, there is a limit of time – “oxygen” – you have to find all five space dogs. The good news is, there is no limit on how many times you can try the mission in case you don’t succeed the first time. The bad news is, there are a couple meteors out in space that, if you crash into, will “WHACK” you like the criminals of Super Power Island. Good luck!

Oh, and there’s prizes too (yay, more good stuff!). But the bad news (again) is that it’s for a limited time only, which means it’s only temporary. Anyway, here they are:

  • Disney: Space Buddies Space Suit (see the figure on the right)
    An awesome white space suit (it doesn’t have any special effects, though).
  • Disney: Space Buddies Firecracker
    When you use it (by pressing the “Use” button on its item card), a firecracker will fly around the screen, then at the end, shows the “Disney Space Buddies” logo.

By the way, we are apparently still having a problem controlling what we say when it comes to new posts on the Creators’ Blog. Yep, you know what I mean – and this notice, now appearing for the 5th time, will tell you if you don’t get it!

Special Note: It is not a race to be the first to tell everyone about a new post on the Creators’ Blog. We’ve had many comments saying the same thing (”New post on Creators’ Blog!!!!”) and it is very annoying. If someone has already mentioned it, don’t bother to say it again – it’s not necessary. Welcome to the new posts of Poptropica Help Blog Sneak Peaks, that are posted every week on Sundays. On these new posts there will be stories that only we have. And only we post them. These stories are classified and are very secret.
This week we have two articles for us to share; ‘Land Ahoy’ this is an article on the Pirate Advertisement coming out in the near future, and ‘Yogos Bucks’ is another advertisement that will be coming out next week.

-Land Ahoy-
No, Once again they haven’t landed yet…Or have they?

On January 31st, After Codien’s trekking adventure in the jungle led to a mystery involving Pirates, Codien hadn’t been able to sleep. Visions of a pirate ship, slowly drifting from a thick haze, silently landing on the sand kept him awake. The 3 pirates from the photo kept appearing in his dream, running at him with swords in hand.
Codien had had enough. He decided to trek through the jungle to the point where he found the picture to see if he could uncover, or rather find nothing to do with the pirates. After 2 hours of searching he didn’t find anything. No photos, no jewels, not even a gold tooth. There was nothing there. Feeling tired Codien decided to walk back home. It was half way through the jungle when he realised he had gone the wrong way. He was lost. Codien started to get worried. Images of the 3 pirates kept flashing in front of his eyes. In panic he turned on his heel and ran as fast as he could in one direction, Never stopping for a breath. He only slowed down when the familiar sound of the waves crashing on the beach was present. He ran through the last lines of trees when he came crashing down onto the sand. He sighed a long exhausting breath. He felt safe here.

After what seemed hours Codien looked up past the suns blazing rays and out to the water. A rush of panic filled him; he half expected a pirate ship to be looming on the horizon. But there was none. He chuckled to himself.
Crack! The sound of a tree branch broke behind him. isthatapirate
He turned in shock to see a strange man, covered in old red clothing, and a sword on the belt, standing on a rock. Before he could blink the man was gone.

Still gasping for breath, Codien couldn’t tell if what he saw was real.

Was that a real pirate standing on the rock?
This whole Pirate mystery was just too much for Codien to handle.
He decided that the best thing to do was to go see the ‘Shark Tooth’ Islands Medicine Man; and see if he could make a potion that would make him forget the pirates.
Lets just hope he doesn’t have to find another secret ingredient.


What’s the story about?
The story is about the new costume we will be getting in the new advertisement/mission.divinggame1
This pirate costume, along with two others, will be obtainable when the Froot Loops: Fruity Golden Bars mission is released. 
This Froot Loops mission will be similar to the old Froot Loops mission (which can be viewed here), where you will have to help Toucan Sam in a diving game. Except in this diving game you will get a Gold Diving suit. The Froot Loops Diving Suit, one of the prizes, is a clothing item you can wear, and you automatically blow some bubbles every few seconds when you wear it. Of course the best thing about this mission is that there will be those 3 new Pirate costumes. 😀
This mission will be released next week or maybe 3 weeks from now.

-Yogos Bucks-

Last week as Codien was doing his usually shopping on Early Poptropica Island he ran into a strange man and women with funny hats. They were dancing and laughing, jumping and singing. They seemed to be having crazy fun!
How could Codien resist. He had to join them in their dancing and singing. After only a few minutes the song was already in his head:

“Hey Kids! Do you want to have some fun? Have some fun with me.
Grab a pack and eat them up, and prance around with glee.
You can eat, dance, and play. And win some cash with Yogos.
If you want food, and want to win some cash.
 Well then, Grab the Bucks and Go with Yogos“

After dancing and singing, and having so much fun the crazy man decided to give Codien his hat. With a huge grin Codien thanked the man. 
With a sad goodbye, Codien turned on his feet and walked back home with a spring in his step. Singing the song, all the way home.

So first off if you haven’t noticed. For the past week or so there have been ads on the sides of the Poptropica game, advertising Yogos. It was advertising that in specially marked packs of Yogos, you could have a chance to win some money.

So this week or maybe next week Poptropica will bring out the ad in the game (maybe similar to the Wall-E Ad), with Poptropicans dressed in the costumes, featured in the image on the left.
I WANT THAT HAT!

Well I’m from Australia and i have no idea what Yogos are but I’m guessing they’re food.  😛

 If any of you guys didn’t notice but the two products, Froot Loops and Yogos, are both owned by Kelloggs. Which I, have came to the conclusion that…Kelloggs must be advertising on Poptropica. Thought I’d like to point that out. 🙂
