Hey everyone! Just a reminder that Timmy Failure Island is out for everyone tomorrow! Yeah that’s right…a Tuesday! (Find out why in this PHB post.)

For everyone getting ready to start the great pants chase, we have a guide made by our very own Brave Tomato that can help you through the parts you get stuck on!

In other news, there have been some changes on Home Island! In front of the Shop, there used to be a guy with an eyepatch standing there – but now there’s a different NPC, the gender of whom depends on your character. The outfit of the NPC also varies, but it looks pretty snazzy!

Finally, last but not least, there has been some changes to the Photo Booth (plus the NPC in front has been replaced with a witch)! The Creators just added some frightful new backgrounds, characters, and props! Now you can make Poptropica Halloween-themed photos using backgrounds and stickers with all your favorite Halloween characters.

Anyway, that’s it guys! Have a fun time with all the new updates and send us some of your photos! We want to see your amazing creations!

Issue #26 of our Poptropica fan magazine, known as The POPCORN, has just been released, with all sorts of Poptropica fan creations, including stories such as “Par of Poptropica” by Friendly Comet, artwork by Slippery Raptor, and more! As usual, this is available as a PDF.

To send in entries for The POPCORN, simply email us at [email protected], comment on this blog, or tweet us @Poptropica_Help. We’re looking for all kinds of Poptropica fan creations, including stories, fan art, comics, costumes, island ideas, and whatever else you can think of. We’ll also be scouring the web for some handpicked selections, including the We-Love-Poptropica deviantArt group (of which I’m an admin!). Remember to proofread your own submissions – your work is your responsibility! That being said, we’re always excited to see what you guys come up with. 😀

timmybookThe Creators have reminded us that on October 6th, which is next Tuesday, Timmy Failure Island will be open to all players! But why does it fall upon a Tuesday when island releases are usually on Thursdays?

Here’s the reason they gave: “on that same day, the newest Timmy Failure book will become available when Timmy Failure: Sanitized for Your Protection hits bookshelves!”

Oh cool! So now you know what to do on Tuesday! Poptropica usually updates around 12 PM-3 PM EST, so make sure to get a head start on this pants-chasing adventure!

Something new is on the horizon – and it’s more than just a caption stolen from the Daily Pop. In addition to the prison-themed island sneak peeks we’ve looked at before, September wraps up with even more glimpses of what’s to come, including what appears to be something like Alcatraz Island (a prison on an island) in San Francisco (noting the bridge), further confirming BT’s theory about the setting of this upcoming island. See our Daily Pop Archive for more sneak peeks!

No news yet on when the island is releasing, but stay updated with the PHB as we find out!

Next, there’s a new Monster High ad on Main Streets such as Early Poptropica! This one contains two videos. The left video gives you Catty’s Show Power (press spacebar to watch a few Monster High characters rocking out on a stage), and the video on the right awards a large-winged Luna Costume.

Yes, finally the day has come: Poptropica is now legally and not bootlegged for Kindle Fire devices! Super excited for auto updates ❤ I’m really excited for that “Poptropica TV” update that’s happening sometime this week. At this point, I think all the major handheld devices have the Poptropica mobile app – except the *cough*Windows phone*cough*

But there’s more to discuss in this post! First of all – and I’m surprised I haven’t announced this sooner – but I created a DeviantArt a few months ago. You can go watch me (I’ll watch back!) and enjoy each other’s Poptropica art!

PoptropiCast Co-host competition

Remember the PoptropiCast? I really still want to do it, but without a co-host it’s going to be really difficult. Just as a test run, you can send in an audio submission of text of your choosing. Just read it and send it! (You can use Audacity to record it!)

As the graphic describes, you’ll need a good mic (nothing fancy) and a fluid voice (able to put words together) in order to be eligible. Send the submissions to [email protected]. I’ll select some possible co-hosts and we’ll go from there. (and yes, I plan to make a new logo. 😛 )

PoptropiComic details

A few weeks ago, I decided to make a comic for Poptropica – thanks to Ylimegirl for the name – and now it’s time to officially announce it. I can’t give any set dates, I’m just going to release it as I finish each panel. It’s a story driven comic with main characters Messy Sinker and Nice Demon (Nice Dragon’s new name) – possibly more eventually. Keep watch (heh) on my DeviantArt as I before mentioned for the first page!
