It’s a light in the darkness for Poptropica’s April weekly T-shirt, ComicKidImage:
As promised, Poptropica will be releasing a new T-shirt at their online Zazzle store every week’s Friday during the month of April 2009. In this one we see Poptropica’s logo in gold, and Comic Kid’s shadow standing into the brilliance of a bright light, yet he is also on the black background of a shirt. The words below his shadow says, “Comic Kid” in gold. The font being used happens to be Anime Ace 2.0 BB, which like the Poptropica speech bubble font (Creative Block BB), is a Blambot font. About ten days ago, Poptropica Help Blog turned into Club Penguin Help Blog, which you can read about here. A poll came up about April Fools’ Day on our site a few days later: Did you get fooled on April Fools day? This poll is now closed; here are the results:

The T-shirts weren’t the only merchandise section to update! The Poptropica Creators’ Blog‘s “Poptropica Life Size Wall Prints” widget also experienced a change. (See the picture on the right to know what it looks like now!)
The new widget image reads, “7 feet of pure Poptropica awesomeness <Ned Noodlehead’s picture> Poptropica™ Life Size Wall Prints Click Here available through LTLprints.com”. As usual, clicking on the picture brings you to another one of Poptropica’s online stores, and this one is located at LTLprints.com. The title of the online store now reads,”Poptropica Official Partner – Buy Your Favorite Poptropica as a Life-Sized – Removable and Reusab[le]”.
On the Poptropica LTL (Larger Than Life) webpage, there are new advertisements showing how the wall decorations are, “Self-Adhesive, Removable, Reusable, Durable, Easy to Install. Peel-it! Stick-it! Repeat!” They also offer free shipping with laptop prints!

April Fools Day, 2009
April Fools day. A day for foolery and miscious. And PHB had a go at it.
For 3 days before, during, and after Aprils Fools day, the PHB team changed the whole site to appear as if it was now serving another online game called “Club Penguin”. And boy did PHB fool alot of people!
Crying, thrashing, tearing, yelling, “WE WANT PHB BE BACK! WE WANT PHB BACK!”. We got dozens of comments and emails of pure panic that the site had mysteriously changed over night.
Not only was it the readers that got fooled but the Poptropica Creators Blog (PCB) got fooled too:

We wanted to acknowledge a certain “Help Blog” for Poptropica that recently changed formats. They had a lot of talent, and we’ll miss them terribly. Good luck guys.
Whether or not this was the creators just joining in on the foolery, or maybe they were just completly fooled, or maybe they were just talking about another site (unlikely 😉 ).
So what on earth did we do to make it look so much like we had changed.
First off Codien designed the header, making it as real as possible as if we were really a help blog serving Club Penguin.
Now we had to write the posts and pages. We were stuck. We had to write lots of posts and pages in less then 3 days. We couldn’t do it. So we emailed a very good friend of ours and asked her if we could use her posts for the prank.
This person was Happy Pippi – Happy Pippi owns a wonderful, amazing, well organized blog involving Club Penguin. Her blogged is filled with amazing posts and pages.
When we asked she was very happy in letting us use her posts (Suggesting the name 😉 ).
We would like everybody to give a very big thanks to Happy Pippi. THANKS HAPPY PIPPI!

The Missing Sneak Peak and Updates
I’m sorry but the post is not missing.
The PHB Sneak Peaks have been cancelled. This is due to an overload of work i have to do.
Maybe in the next couple weeks i can make a post with all the sneak peaks in one dedicating everything that has happened in the past 10 weeks. I will also tell you if it came true or not. The PHB Sneak Peaks will be no longer. They have retired. But don’t panic. Something even better will be happening.
Well after that sad news i have some great things to tell you. Well you can call them PHB Sneak Peaks if you want :P.
But these sneak peaks are for our site.
In the future we will be updating the costume section, a faster way for you to communicate and receive updates.
A HUGE thing will be happening in the near future. Also we have decided that every month we will be posting something BIG. It will be like PHB Sneak Peaks. But only BIGGER. Involving you.
