It’s a light in the darkness for Poptropica’s April weekly T-shirt, ComicKidImage:

As promised, Poptropica will be releasing a new T-shirt at their online Zazzle store every week’s Friday during the month of April 2009. In this one we see Poptropica’s logo in gold, and Comic Kid’s shadow standing into the brilliance of a bright light, yet he is also on the black background of a shirt. The words below his shadow says, “Comic Kid” in gold. The font being used happens to be Anime Ace 2.0 BB, which like the Poptropica speech bubble font (Creative Block BB), is a Blambot font. About ten days ago, Poptropica Help Blog turned into Club Penguin Help Blog, which you can read about here. A poll came up about April Fools’ Day on our site a few days later: Did you get fooled on April Fools day? This poll is now closed; here are the results:

Celebrating April Fools’ Day: On Poptropica!
If the PHB didn’t fool you, maybe Poptropica will, with the help of VladtheViking’s latest YouTube video!

…And that’s a visual summary of what happened on Poptropica for April Fools! Everyone’s head got bigger (players and non-player characters!), the Poptropica logo on the homepage was backwards, and when you loaded the Poptropica page, a bunch of Poptropicans in goofy glasses would come out. The Creators also included a special picture of Dr. Hare with their blog post (aprilfools.png):

Remember the Poptropica Popularity Contests a couple weeks ago? We all know the secret agent from Spy Island Headquarters won, and he’s going to get a T-shirt made just for him! Bet he feels really special waving his gun-thing around, as shown below. These are the 4 options:
