Introducing… Fuzzy-B!

Hey guys, I’m Fuzzy-B and I am the newest author here at the PHB! I would like to thank Slanted Fish so much for letting me join the blog. This is something that I have been dreaming of since I found out about the PHB back in 2009 from friends in my class. I hope to have a lot of fun here and post a lot of good updates. You may know me from the blog I run over here. Don’t worry, I will still post over there too.

A little about me is that I am a 14-year-old boy living in the central U.S.A. I love movies, running, and Jesus. I enjoy going to concerts, listening to music, and playing Poptropica (but that is obvious). “It’s been fun but now I’ve got to go, Life is way too short to take it slow, But before I go and hit the road I gotta know, till then, When can we do this again?”

Nothing better than an Owl City quote to end a post with, eh? ;)

Comics, Zomberry Island

Light is bad, bad stuff (Zomberry: Day Zero – Part Five of Six)

You’re warm and sleepy in bed, having dreams of chocolate and zomberries. The room is nice and dark and you float around in Poptropica, perhaps scaring tourists in Shark Tooth Island or laughing at all those humble Poptropicans dutifully packing up their bags to go camp out for Zomberry Island. Everything is just perfect. perfect, that is, until-

“Oh, no, momsie! You absolutely must turn off the light now!”

“It’s time for school, get up now.”

I’m positive this scenario has occurred to every Poptropican more than once. Don’t be ashamed to admit it. We’re all in this together.

Anyway, it appears that those epic zombies (or are they epic?) of Zomberry Island need to be stopped! And who better than Joe to stop them? Here we continue on with our epic story, Zomberry: Day Zero!

Well, Poptropicans, it seems that we all share one common trait with zombies; we all burn from light on certain days. What if… *epic gasp* the moral is that Poptropicans are the real zombies?

The whole idea of a zombie apocalypse is fresh in my mind due to the idea of zombie and berry being together in one sentence. Zomberry is such a nice word, isn’t it?

Remember to check back here, the PHB, for details. Everything you need to know for Zomberry Island will be brought to you here, by us! And while you’re at it, why not check out the island guides and complete any islands you’re missing? That way, you’re all ready to go when Zomberry Island comes out!

P.S. Did you guys notice how we got left with a cliffhanger until Monday?

Zomberrified Updates

That’s right. I just said ‘zomberrified’. u mad bro?

So, we’ve just learned that the totally awesome (and yet slightly ominous) island is called Zomberry Island. The Creators have interested us by releasing two awesome posters.

(See that? Released by Mews Corp, rated P for Poptropica? I do believe this is interesting.)

And not only do we get these posters, but we also get the fantastic new… common rooms! That’s right, remember the innuendos and outuendos floating around about the tribe common rooms? Well, they’re confirmed now!

You just need to go to your epic profile on Poptropica and ‘Join Room’! This’ll take you to your secret hideout where you’ll meet with other tribesmates. Pathfinders, hope to see you there!

Also, remember that these common rooms are special in more than one way; they’re interactive. Hunt around the vast rooms to see what you can interact with, besides your friends! 😀

Well, Here I Am…

…unable to think of a title for this post.  Story of my life.  *sigh*  Oh, well.  Might as well begin the post without an awesome title.

Well, you may or may not have guessed that I’m the new author on here.  So, yeah, if you guessed that then you’re right.  Guess I’d better tell you a little bit about myself.

I’m Icy Comet.  I’m a 13 year old girl who lives in the US.  I work on my own blog, Icy Comet’s Blog.  I also work on Super Thunder’s Blog.  I’m still trying to figure out how my blog came first but her’s gets way more views than my blog…  Just doesn’t figure does it?  I also work on a couple other blogs, but those are the main ones.

I have a tendency to make stupid mistakes, like that time I thought that cavemen were monsters from Monster Carnival Island (long story).  Or like that time I was so excited about Poptropica Friends that, when I was doing a post about two of the Creators’ posts, I put one of the posts in the wrong spot, and I forgot to put the other post on at all.  I don’t know, these mistakes seem to happen most on ST2’s blog.  It’s probably cursed or something.  Wouldn’t be surprised if that was true.  Anyway, just expect to see a lot of edits in my posts.

I’ve been playing Poptropica for a super long time.  I forgot when I first started playing, but I know that there were only three islands around the time that I first started.  My username is IcyComet69 (I know, that’s real creative, isn’t it).  Here’s a picture of my beautiful Poptropican:

I’m the biggest klutz in the world.  The kind of klutz who can trip on a flat surface and constantly does.  Oh, well, can’t be perfect at everything.

I LOVE contemporary christian music (CCM! 😀 ).  Especially when it’s rock music.  My top favorite artists are Third Day, Tenth Avenue North, Switchfoot, and BarlowGirl.  My dream is to have a t-shirt from BarlowGirl’s website.  The official most awesomest song on the planet is By Your Side by Tenth Avenue North, but I have about a gazillion, million, billion other favorites.  Yeah, I’m a little too obsessed with CCM, but at least it’s a good thing to be obsessed with.

I love making headers for my blog, though sometimes they don’t turn out too good.  Like the one that I have up right now.  I thought that the colors would go better together than that.  I don’t know, it didn’t look that bad when I was making it.  Oh, well, maybe they are awful, I’m still proud of them.

To me, The Lord of the Rings is one of the most amazing things ever invented.  I’m just waiting for the movie of The Hobbit to come out.  My life will be complete when that happens.

I love making my little Animoto video/slidshow guide things.  (You would only know about that if you have read my blog before.)  I don’t know if they’ve ever helped anybody, but I still like making them.

I think that’s about it.  Oh, Super Thunder wanted me to tell the world that she was stupid.  Don’t ask me why, cause I have no idea.  I wouldn’t do this for anyone else (and I don’t actually think she’s stupid), but, world, Super Thunder is stupid.  I better get lots of cookies for saying that.

Thanks SO much to Hijuyo for adding me as an author! 😀 I hope that you guys like me as an author!

Snickerdoodle!

*spotlight goes on the top of the stairs*

Wait, what? No, I’m down here, you overshot a bit!

*spotlight moves down*

Much better. So, as you can obviously see, or maybe not see, because of the spotlight, I’m the newest author of the PHB! Sure, you’re probably thinking, “Who in Early Poptropica’s clothesline is that?” Well, to be honest, I’m not really sure who I am, either. It all changes, every day. Usually, I’m a thirteen year old (though not for much longer!) girl, with the mind of a five year old. I have tried to defy gravity, and ended up with that. *points at bruised ankle*

I have a terrible sense of what is dangerous and what is not; cliff diving sounds appealing to me, and it is my dream to go skydiving. So far, no luck. I’ve only ever gone bungee jumping. I also have unhealthy obsessions. My current obsessions include Phantom of the Opera, and its sequel, Love Never Dies. Okay, so a lot of people think “What’s so appealing about that?” That’s what I thought the first time I saw it, but after… Ahhh… *in love*

I go by many names, including Christine, xMegxGiryx, Nessa, ST2, Super Thunder, and Wicked Witch of the East. No one ever seems to call me by my real name. Which is fine with me, I don’t like it anyway.

My attention span is tiny. I have no patience for what x is equal to and I never will. I also don’t… Oooh, look, a butterfly!

*returns ten minutes later, with  a butterfly*
