July 28th!

That’s about two weeks away from now. Not to worry, the PHB already has our Shrink Ray island resources up and ready on our Island Help page, which links to our written walkthrough guide with Shrink Ray Island cheats, a labeled map, video playlist tutorial, and if you’re still stuck, an ever-helpful discussion page!

In other news, thanks to PHB reader Angry Wing we have learned the names of some more Poptropica Creators – Cara Campanelli, who handles customer support, and Kevin McGrath, who used to work as Poptropica’s customer support. And thanks to Crazy Thunder, who gave us the identity of Jon Pitcher, alias Master Mime, and John “J.T.” Gallant, an intern at Poptropica. The next superstar: Fierce Moon!

The creators are very eager and zealous to continue this new series it seems. I’d have to say, NICE IDEA, creators. They’re starting to recognize VIP players and top gamers in the world of Poptropica. The new PCB post is all about the newest Superstar.

Say hello to Fierce Moon!

She’s completed 19 out of the 20 islands – all except Red Dragon Island. Get out there and FINISH IT, Fierce Moon! It says in the new superstars post that it she’s also completed all the miniquests including Haunted House, Dr. Hare’s Secret Lab, etc. Work hard to beat everything, Fierce Moon. Have fun being recognized as a star. 😀

Also, Hijuyo recognized that yesterday’s superstar, Grumpy Icicle, is a PHB reader. He even commented on the post! According to several comments from PHB readers on this post, Fierce Moon runs the Poptropica fansite known as PoptropicaSecrets. (The original PCB post referenced with the phrase “Poptropica secrets.”) So if you’re reading this, FM, we wish you a big congrats!

The creators have started a whole new series on the PCB. Remember snapshot sagas? It’s almost just like that except that they don’t just go to random players. They actually look at your record and select top players from Poptropica. Players familiar with snapshot sagas will probably be drawn into this as well.

The new series is called Poptropica Superstars! They select top players that are totally into the game, and then mention them into a new post. Todays superstar is…*drumroll*….Grumpy Icicle!

Poptropica Superstars: Grumpy Icicle

Millions and millions of kids love Poptropica, and we love you all right back. That’s why, all this week, we’re going to showcase some of our most dedicated players right here in the creators’ blog. Say hello to the first Poptropica Superstar, Grumpy Icicle!

Grumpy Icicle has beaten 18 of the 20 Poptropica Islands, including the toughest one, Astro-Knights. He was number 1 on our list of the first 10 Poptropicans to finish Cryptids Island, and he just missed appearing on the list of the first 10 to finish Shrink Ray Island. Grumpy Icicle was number 11.

Whoah. Top finisher on one island is pretty amazing. Top finisher on two islands? You’d have to be pretty big of a fan to do that. These people work fast :D. He’s completed 18 out of 20 of the series of islands. Job well done, Grumpy Icicle. You’re a true star!

Error…Restart!

Have you ever loved an island so much you just want to do it again? Are you stuck, or made a mistake and it can’t be fixed? Well, the Creator’s have made a solution! Drum roll please! *drum roll starts*

Announcing Island Restart!

One of Poptropica’s most requested features is finally here. Now, you can replay any Poptropica Island as much as you want!

Just visit the map screen on the Island you want to restart, and press the round “RESTART ISLAND” button in the bottom righthand corner. Presto! Your adventure begins anew.

If you’ve already completed an Island and earned that Island’s Medallion, never fear! You won’t lose it. Your Medallion will still appear on the Stats screen. Plus, when you move your cursor over your Island Medallions on the Stats screen, you’ll even see how many times you’ve completed each Island.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start your Poptropica adventure all over again!
