As my birthday approaches, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking– the cyperworld is a brilliant world, but a world where I often fail at. Growing older gives me some sort of melancholy feeling and with that comes my decision.
As much as I love blogging, I think we all know news-blogging isn’t for me.
I’ve loved being here so much! It’s been an amazing experience. I want to thank CW/Batcat for recommending me and Hijuyo for adding me. 🙂 As well as all the PHB readers for commenting and being able to stand my random posts.
Gosh, quite a lot. T__T That would be an interesting thing to hang in my room and count every night, instead of sheep!
The prices vary from different sizes to different paper type, ranging to the highest (as far as I could see, though I may be wrong) $19.75.
Meh, too bad I happen to be about $19.75 short.
Also, in time for the holiday season, don’t forget to pick up the free “Holiday Ball” costume from the Poptropica Store if you haven’t already! Comes in red, green, and blue. Thanks to ND from the PHC for the image.
Oh, and Happy late-Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a great one. I’m sorry I wasn’t quite around to wish you all one around the actual time. ^^;
Hi guys! Slightly long time no see. I’d first like to say I hope you all had a great Halloween and you didn’t worsen your cold like I did. Or get any rocks for candy, which I can’t quite admit happened to me.
Second, let’s congratulate the first ten finishers of Game Show Island! w00t!
Many Poptropicans have already defeated the robots at their own game (shows), and made Poptropica safe for humans again. As we usually do, we want to take a minute to recognize the first 10 players to complete Game Show Island — starting with a familiar face in the first spot.
1. Grumpy Icicle
2. Maroon Seal
3. Zany Speck
4. Sleepy Wing
5. Thirsty Sword
6. Young Joker
7. Small Hero
8. Mighty Tummy
9. Sleepy Ant
10. Striped Fire
Congratulations to all the winners so far, and to those yet to come!
It’s Halloween, and while most people are thinking about treats, Dr. Hare is thinking about how to trick the world into submitting to his fuzzy-fisted rule. Here is, once again in a new city.
Where do you think he is this time?
SHARK BOY
My first thought was to associate the clock in the background with Big Ben, but in truth, Dr. Hare would never make it to London without me. I’d force him to take me with him even if it meant dealing with an evil pink bunny, because if there’s any place I want to go, it’s London!
(but what do you mean he’s already been to London?!)
Hmm, where do you think he is this time?
Well, luckily I won’t be feeling incredibly jealous, ’cause this time he’s in Buenos Aires! (Thanks to Shaggy Tornado for letting me know!)
The birthday party continues with the return of two Members-only items to the Poptropica Store:
From now until the end of September, Poptropica Members can get the Paper Boy and Girl costumes, as well as the Skullduggery Pirate, from the Poptropica Store. Act fast — they’ll be gone when September is. Not a Member yet? Find out how to become a Poptropica Member today!
Remember these super cool costumes? ^^ Never got the chance to catch them? D:
Luckily, these amazing outfits are back for you lucky Poptropica Members. But only for September– you’ll have to act quick about it! The Skullduggery one is especially fitting because today, September 19th, 2011, is International Talk Like A Pirate Day! ARR!
Now you can look super cool while looking like a human patch of paper and wearing eyepatches– all while finishing Mystery Train Island!
So maybe it’s not an ideal combination. But you’ll still look pretty stylish! 😉 Maybe if you have a weird sense of humor like me
~RCG/Rainfall (sorry if my name change is a little confusing!)
There was once a gloomy place called the internet.
People roamed this area, poking people, writing on walls, and stalking others without their knowledge. They stared at moving square pictures, and resided in odd things called “Yootoobs” and “Face Books”.
But then, on September1st, 2007, came a miracle for those who were tired of these grounds of virtual mafias and farms.
da-da-da-da-DA!
Poptropicaaaaa!
You may have noticed this banner around the bottom of the home page. Did the creators put it there for kicks and giggles?
Nope!
September 1st symbolizes the 4th birthday of Poptropica, silly!
It’s hard to believe, but Poptropica’s birthday is nearly upon us! This September will mark four years since we launched our site with only a single Island and a dream. Now we’re up to 21 Islands, loads of mini-games, hundreds of costumes and Gold Cards, and millions upon millions of our very dearest friends — all of you!
That’s why we’d like you to help us celebrate our birthday in style. All throughout September, Poptropicans will have a chance to win a special birthday prize by visiting any common room. We’ll also be re-releasing some classic costumes to the Poptropica Store for a limited time only. And everyone who visits the Store can get a free birthday balloon.
Read all the details on our fourth birthday page. And thanks to everyone who has made Poptropica such a wonderful place to play for the past four years. We’ve got a lot more in store for you in the years to come!
CAPTAIN CRAWFISH
Read more at the special page just for Poptropica’s Fourth Birthday!
It includes information such as the fact that the Special Edition golden Renegade Robot and Steamworks Mech Pilots are coming back to the store, FREE, though for members only.
WHOOOOAAA! Cool!
Remember the 3rd birthday balloons? Well, they’re back, only updated to 4th years! You can get a free one in the store, and also search for the extra special one in multiplayer rooms to receive a cake costume.
Aside from this great mark in Poptropica history, you can also find two new (well, not very new) games, once again for free, in the Store. The sumo wrestling one, as well as the Shrink Shot game.
Thanks to Machine Lord for the tips!
Have fun celebrating Poptropica’s birthday, and playing these amazing games, and until next time,
