In celebration of the PHB reaching 10 million hits last week, I posted ten mini puzzles of small snapshots from various Poptropica places for readers to have a little fun putting their Poptropica knowledge to the test by guessing where they came from. In case you haven’t had a chance to guess yet, here are the snapshots. The answers (and winners!) are posted right below.

Since its birth back in the summer of 2008, the PHB has, as of today, reached its biggest milestone yet: ten million hits (and it only took five years)! That means this blog has been viewed 10,000,000 times, and that comes from you guys, our lovely readers – so thank you very much for your support!
In celebration of this milestone, I’ve prepared a little game featuring 10 mini puzzles of small snapshots from various areas in Poptropica. Your task is to guess where in Poptropica they were taken!
Here’s how it works:
Post a comment numbered 1 to 10 with your guesses. Have at least the island name, and put the specific location if you can – its name on the map or an even more detailed description.
You can work together with your friends or other commenters. Help each other check locations, post as many comments as you like, and as long as you have a comment numbered 1 to 10 with all correct answers, you’ll win! If you prefer figuring it out yourself, don’t read the comments yet when you submit your answers. Also, copy others at your own risk (they may be wrong!).
I’ll post the correct answers the following week. Those who have everything correct will get their names mentioned in the post! So without further ado…
Can you guess where these came from?

BONUS PUZZLE: Where’s Slanted Fish? (What characters is she surrounded by?)
Poptropolis Games won’t be out of early access until this Thursday, December 5th, but until then, CapriSun’s Roarin’ Waters is here to deliver two athletic challenges in a Kids vs. Pros Playground Throwdown! You can find this ad on Main Streets such as the one on Virus Hunter Island.
To your right is Gabby Douglas the gymnast, who you must match in three rounds consisting of a flip, double flip, then a triple flip. All you have to do is watch her tricks, then when it’s your turn, click when the red button tells you to, and you’ll do a flip! The prizes are the Super Flip Power and Gymnast Outfit.
To your left is WWE wrestler John Cena, who will challenge you to tug-of-war. Just click as fast as you can to pull the rope closer to your side. When you win, you’ll get the Flex Power and In-Ring Gear.
In other news, PHB reader Silver Wolf mentioned to us that the Mocktropica Island desktop wallpaper contains a to-do list in the corner that includes “Balloon Boy Rescue Island”!
Could this mean that the island being created in Mocktropica has to do with the one who floated away on Counterfeit Island, the running gag we’ve seen occasional glimpses of ever since? Hmm…
Happy Thanksgiving! Whether you’re celebrating with turkey or not, this still applies: Poptropica’s first ever iOS game, Forgotten Islands, is now on sale in the App Store for $2.99 (a saving of two dollars)! This discount ends on (Black) Friday, so get it quick!
Along with hours of gameplay, a promise of no in-app purchases, and the recently added Halloween costume pack, it now comes with a new Thanksgiving costume pack, too! If you’re not convinced, check out the PHB’s complete Forgotten Islands Walkthrough, with pictures and the whole storyline to show you what the game is like.
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving from the PHB! We’re grateful for all you readers for your support just by visiting our website and eating all the crawfish from our fridge. (Wait, what?)
Also, Poptropolis Games Island 2013 will be available to everyone next Thursday, December 5, so be ready to represent your tribe well in high-spirited competition!
Hey guys, BT here. Now, the Creators actually posted TWO pieces of big news over the short span of two days! The first piece reveals the next classic island to get an update with sound and bigger screen… Time Tangled!
Yes, it seems that Poptropica’s 3rd island will be next to get this update.
And there’s a bigger piece of news that has spawned…
Well, the Creators finally announced it with everything but the Poptropica Store Members Only Gold Cards and the exact date of its arrival. Here’s the video trailer for the island:
(Is that a reference to the weird YouTube viral video “Cows & Cows & Cows” I see in the trailer?)
So I was right when I said that the Creators are parodying themselves (yes!). Anyway, the info page has some interesting info including the island’s approximate release time…
Brave Tomato: Looks like someone missed their morning coffee…
Coming mid-December!
Poptropica is under new management, and it’s falling apart at the seams! The newest Island isn’t finished, the staff is nowhere to be found, and you can’t take two steps without running into a game-breaking bug. Get ready to go behind the scenes for your most important adventure yet — because this time, you’ve got to save Poptropica itself!
An island about making an island? ISLAND-CEPTION! Time to break the fourth wall, peeps, and save our game! (Although I wonder if this is just an excuse to get away with ACTUAL bugs and glitches that can occur…)
Speaking of saving our game, here’s an odd bonus quest that… may bring in a new villain! O.O
Brave Tomato: Who’s that? And why did I think he was a girl when I first saw the pic?
Bonus Quest
A rogue programmer has conquered a rival website and now rules it like a king. You must venture outside the safety of Poptropica to bring him back — if you can last long enough to find him!
Who’s that? Is the rival website MegaFightingBots.com, that battling robots game showed in the island trailer? So many questions, yet so little answers…
By the way, the Creators just made that website real, although coming soon. This is what you’d see on the website:
