Excalibur’s Fate

Whiz, whiz, whiz…

Excalibur, Hazmat Hermit’s spaceship, is whizzing across outer space as we speak. It just escaped a black hole (Danger Danger!), but unfortunately the controls have just stopped working. “Oh boy…” the hermit thinks desperately. He grabs his cell phone and dials his friend’s number. “Binary Bard! Can you hear me??” he yells. A faint voice replies from the other end: “…crashed… stranded… dangerous helmet-fish…”  The phone clicks dead. “WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!” cries HH in frustration. “Excalibur isn’t working, I don’t know where I’m going, Binary Bard’s not making any sense, my phone’s dead, and to top that all off, there’s a brown place up ahead that it looks like I’m about to crash into -”

Bang.
Excalibur just crash-landed side-first into a pool of mud. Its top, which is made of glass, now has cracks in it. The spaceship’s base is dirty. From inside the UFO, Hazmat Hermit grunts, trying to heal his wounds. “Ugh! What a mess I’m in! I bet my UFO got too near the black hole, and now it’s in bad shape.” He tries to get up, but slips and gets stuck in the mud. “Oh, could this day get any worse?”

Description: There’s plenty to worry about on Astro-Knights Island. Things are falling right out of the sky! I may have a hazmat suit, but there’s no way I was going to wade through that mud to investigate.

The PHB Dr. Hare Glitch

 Are you sitting around Poptropica, waiting for ages till that new island comes out? Have you got nothing else to do?
Then why don’t you try “The PHB Dr. Hare Glitch” on for size. You will be hairy in no time.

NOTE:

  • This glitch will only work if you haven’t completed the 24 Carrot quest. Make a new user to try it out though.
  • This glitch will change your whole costume into Dr. Hare. Remember that anything you were wearing will be lost.
  • The glitch will make you turn into to a boy even if your a girl because Dr. Hare is a boy. If you want to become a girl again press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [R] until you change to a girl. Remember this randomises everything and you will loose the Dr. Hare costume and you wont be able to get it back.

Follow these directions to complete The PHB Dr. Hare Glitch:

  1. Head over to 24 Carrot Island via the blimp.
  2. Complete most of the quest until you get to the end when you are about to enter the codes onto the computer.

  3. Enter the codes to become control of Dr. Hares ship.
  4. Now the aim here is to crash into the asteroids to destroy his ship. When you crash into the asteroids his face will pop up shouting at you.
  5. When his face pops up click and hold [Ctrl] + [Shift] and rapidly press [S] at the same time. This should change his skin color/colour.
  6. When his face pops up again press the same buttons to change his skin again. (This is just to make sure you did it the first time.)
    [MAC Users] Press [Command] + [Shift] + [S]
  7. Crash his ship completely and you should be out of the game. BUT WAIT! I’m still myself!
  8. Head down to the bottom and walk out the door on the left. You should now feel and look different. 😛
  9. Go into items and use the telaporter to go back to the top.
  10. CONGRATULATIONS! You are now Dr. Hare!

Boooom.

As more and more dark clouds filled the sky, the sky kept rumbling with loud booms, and Detective Tongue became more and more panicked. She was on a mission to capture a huge, mechanical Firebird that had escaped from its home in the mechanical jungle. Thanks to the bad weather now and the fog earlier that morning, she was now lost in what appeared to be a metal junkyard. Dozens of red-and-blue metal eggs wrapped around some barbed wire could be found all around her. She stuck out her tongue as she usually does when she gets excited, and started jumping on top of the eggs. “Happy Easter…!!!!” she yelled.

But during one of those leaps, she landed on the egg too hard, and the metallic shell popped open. Out came…

…the very Firebird she was looking for! Its perfectly round, hard head was attached to a spring in the egg. To her horror, when she peered inside the egg she found the bird’s body flattened underneath! Mission accomplished, but what should I do with the bo-, her thought was interrupted. The bird was glaring at the detective fiercely, pecking her hard with its sharp beak. “OW!” yelped Tongue, and fell to the ground in pain.
