I don’t know if there’ll be snow, but you could get a gift of cheer!

For the first time ever, the Pop Creators are inviting players to design items for the annual Poptropica tradition of 12 Days of Member Gifts. It’s not your typical costume contest — this month, you can come up with clubhouse decorations, pets, followers, and yes, costumes too.

The Holly Jolly Holiday Design Contest welcomes all your winter holiday themed ideas, and 12 players will get theirs made in the game to be given as member gifts in December! But you don’t have to be a member to enter — and if you’re lucky enough to win, you’ll even get your gift for free, regardless of your membership status.

All entries must be sent to Poptropica’s submissions page by Wed, November 16 at 8pm PST. For wintry whispers to waken your imagination, check out Pop’s list of holiday gifts from 2020, and more on the official contest post. Happy merrymaking! ☃️❄️🎄

Anti-Zombie Halloween Hints 🧟🎃

Halfway through spooky month and there’s more on the horizon!

The latest member gifts have arrived, and they’re looking awfully combative. Members, check your inventories for your grungy gifts: Anti Zombie Bike, Anti Zombie Bat, and Anti Zombie Gear!

After Zomberry Hero two years ago and Humans vs Zombies on Roblox earlier this year, what’s next? Is another zombie apocalypse on its way?

A recent tweet from Poptropica offers a hint at a “Halloween surprise” coming up, but no further details have been announced yet.

However, with the recent reveal of the infamous Red Queen, it seems possible that a new storyline may soon open up about the mystery surrounding the latest airship arrival. We’ll have to see!

In the meantime, guest writer Dizzy Feather is back on the Pop Creators’ Blog with part 3 of her fanfic, Poptropican Heroes. Don’t miss parts one and two as well, and catch the Pink Knight prequel on the PHB!

Reign of Omegon with Gains of Neon

Pop drop alert: PoptropiCon Island, Ep. 3: Reign of Omegon has been re-released for members on desktop and mobile! 🚨🤖

With that, the PoptropiCon trilogy is once again complete (though it already is on Steam and Flashpoint). Once you’ve made your way inside the convention and uncovered a top-secret costume design, Episode 3 takes you to the final boss: the unexpected rise of a robot ruler.

If you’ll be visiting the depths of Omegon’s terrors, be sure to keep our PoptropiCon Island Guide near! No word yet on when it will officially re-release for non-members, but if we’re guessing from past patterns, it could be several months — or even a year. Hopefully sooner, though.

The latest converted episode comes just after an announcement from the Pop Creators less than two weeks ago on the official blog, and a day after another brief appearance in our fan-run Discord server, the PHC. Poptropica didn’t stop to chat, but fans were quick to follow up with an emoji petition for bringing back the classic Astro-Knights Island. 🚀

(UPDATE – DEC 2023: The Discord appearance has been debunked as not representing the real Poptropica. The PHB apologizes for the error.)

The Pop Creators’ Blog also brings news of a shop update featuring hoodies galore for the season of fall, as well as a new fanfic from guest writer Dizzy Feather. Check out the full shop stock as well as the prologue to The Adventures of Shy Owl on the official blog! 🍂🦉

The start of a new month also means new member gifts! The latest batch for privileged players features a Neon Bike, Neon Leather Jacket, and Neon Helmet. Ride with style! ✨

However, other expected monthly deliveries have yet to arrive with any mention — namely the Baron’s airship along with the costume contest winner. Does the Baron’s unexplained absence last month have anything to do with it?

One more thing: September isn’t just any month, it’s Poptropica’s birthday month! Are there surprises in store? We’ll have to see… 👀

Cloaked in Mischief: Baron’s Rumpel Return

Hey, Poptropicans! Be on your guard, a suspicious sight has shown up…

The Red Baron has returned, but she seems a bit off this time. Her visible eye is twitching, which she claims is caused by the thrill of adventure.

Her Cabin of Curiosities is chock full of Rumpelstiltskin-branded… things. You’ll find gold statues, a lamp, plushies (including a cursed version of Amelia’s unicorn), and even a Rumpel-fied Dr. Hare costume.

Okay, Baron, what’s with all of this? You deny that something is amiss, and you’re suddenly a big fan of Rumplestiltskin. Look, we know you’re not the most morally upright person, but vouching for Rumpelstiltskin is insane! And why does Ack keep missing his shots, throwing grapes at your convulsing eye? Something’s definitely up. 👁⚫️

At least one thing hasn’t been corrupted by Rumpel’s influence: June’s winning costume, the stellar Star Kid by Busy Bee! 💫 Be sure to grab this free outfit before the Baron — err, Rumpelstiltskin?? — takes off.

Thankfully, Adventure Outfitters’s latest lineup is Rumpel-free. Summer styles are in season for the costume racks! 🌞

On the shop floor to the left, you’ll find the two costumes teased last month. The dark medieval garb is called Cloaked Rogue, and the fuchsia demon is called Demon Mischief. The Creators’ update post doesn’t mention anyone who correctly guessed the names. Meanwhile, on your right, you’ll find plenty of cabana goods for your clubhouse.

Member gifts have also flown in for July! Inspired by our recently rewritten fowl friend Ringmaster Raven, this month’s exclusive spoils are a Crow Cloak, Crow Mask, and Baby Crow Follower. 🦅
