After many long trips its nice just to sit down, relax, and watch a movie in 24 Carrots movie theater about killer carrots!
Not only that but you can make great friends while watching a movie. Check out who Vlad the Viking ran into.

While eating popcorn and bubblegum in the 24 Carrot Island movie theater, I ran into a friendly Poptropican named Tiny Crown. Congratulations Tiny Crown, you are the newest Poptropican featured in Snapshot Sagas!

Holy Cow!

Trust me, it has nothing to do with cows, but it might have something to do with castles.
That’s right PCB has released yet another sneak peek on the long awaited Astro-Knights island. This time Comic Kid ran into a bit of a mess as he stared up at a castle in ruins.

Is it falling apart like your great grandmother Lucy?
Did aliens take a detour and accidentally crash into the over sized castle?
Or was it just a strange cow that stumbled into the castle?

Well our guess is that it was a pair of aliens that crashed into to the castle.

They were obviously making crop circles when they were distracted by great grandmother Lucy who came out and told them off for ruining her crops. They then flew off in a hurry and spotted a cow grazing below, they forgot where they were going and crashed into the castle.

Not long after a meteor crashed through the prison of Super Power Island, another disaster struck in Poptropica. The skies darkened into a grayish color. Onlookers were very much afraid and immediately ran home as soon as they heard the warnings from Hazmat Hermit. “Aaaahh! The sky is falling!” somebody screamed into Hazmat H’s ear. Uh oh, thought the hermit. It’s time for… Super Sparkles Unicorn, come to save the day! In a flash, Hazmat Hermit had climbed onto his unicorn, Sparkles, and the two were now soaring high in the air. “I brought my green laser gun, Sparkles, just in case,” HH reassured the unicorn. Suddenly, they both saw it. A menacing red bird, who happened to look a bit stiff, was chasing them at top speed! “YIKES!” yelled Hermit. “Watch… out… ” He squeezed in his last two words, just as the bird came crashing through them.

Can unicorns rescue us in times of trouble? Maybe they can… on Astro-Knights Island!

The bird might be one from this earlier sneak peek – the Firebird! (Called “Rising from the Ashes…” in case you’re interested.) In that sneak peek, it looks like there are many little birds, which act as missiles, under the gigantic wings of the huge firebird. This new sneak peek seems to show one of them!

“Must… get… food!”

Comic Kid had been in Reality TV Island’s jungles for days searching for food. Now he was scanning the horizon for any signs of a meal. “Aha! Over there; a berry bush!” Excitedly, he runs over to the ledge where the bush was and jumps on it. “Mmm, I can just taste that sweet berry in my mouth.” He yanks a bunch of berries of the bush and starts popping them into his mouth.

Not just a treat, but a way to survive. Reality TV is going to be tough!

I spy with my little eye… something big and round!

“A planet! I see a planet!” Dr. Hare’s buddy, a tan-skinned boy with neatly combed brown hair yelled excitedly. “Huh? Really?! Yess! World domination, here we come!” Dr. Hare, who had recently crashed his giant Rabbot onto Astro-Knights Island after being hurtled through space at top speed with his carrot supply, was eager to conquer another area. He and his friend had been hanging out at the Astro-Knights Island Planetarium on Main Street for a while when they had found a massive telescope that happened to poke through the dome-shaped roof of the Planetarium. The friends were now happily jumping up and down in glee. “Muahahahaha! It’s time for attack!” they chanted evilly.

Just imagine all the things we’ll encounter on Astro-Knights! Doesn’t the observatory look awesome? This could be like looking at Sealsaw Rock through a telescope in Big Nate, only this one’s bigger and better!

What was that? “That, little knight, was the sound of the great metallic creature, the Dragon of Dangers,” a mysterious voice echoed in the misty red background of what appeared to be the dragon’s lair. The red knight jumped in surprise, and found himself face-to-face with a large, scary-looking green-and-brown dragon made of metal. Its glowing red eyes seemed to glare at him. “Yikes!” The knight gulped, and, in great fear, fainted to the ground.

Will you have the courage to face strong opponents on Astro-Knights Island? Here’s a piece of advice: Don’t be like the little red knight, but instead use your logic to bypass even the scariest monsters.

Hazmat Hermitavatar image
Looks like there’s another new kid on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog: Hazmat Hermit, who first appeared on March 26, 2009 to show us the sneak peek shown above. He is an NPC (non-player character) at the County Prison of Main Street, Super Power Island. If you want to visit him, he’s the one standing on top of the meteor and wearing the Hazmat suit. This is what the name “Hazmat Hermit” means:

Hazmat: an abbreviation for ‘hazardous material’
Hermit: a person who has withdrawn to a solitary place; any person living in seclusion
