Just in case you missed the memo that your Poptropican doesn’t have to be stuck with the default name of Hamburger Hamburger, the Pop Creators recently covered how to change your player name on their blog and on YouTube. There are two ways and one button: look for the pencil icon next to your name on either the character screen or friends page.

You can change it as much as you like, but you’ll no longer be a Hamburger Hamburger after that first switch. Curious about all the name combos? Check out our Poptropica Names Guide for a complete collection of possible Pop first and last names!

Poptropica in 2021 has been unlike any other in years past. With the end of Flash in 2020, they’ve had to rebuild the game on a new engine, Haxe, which has brought about some interesting changes. Let’s pop into it! ⏪

Hey Poptropicans! We’ve got another side quest sneak peek, costume winner, activities away from screentime, a Crazy Club tribute, and cute criminals in the Pop universe. Let’s get started!

Last week, we got news of an upcoming side quest sequel for Goofball Island along with a sneak peek of a mechanical bee. Now, Bee Bot is back on our screens and colored in greens! Friend or foe, we don’t know.

We also have word on the winner of December’s costume contest: Rainbow Puppy by Hamburger Hamburger! This colorful creation will be available for free at the Baron’s when the ship arrives in early January.

For the winter break season, the Pop Creators’ Blog also shared some printable activity sheets, including this new word search puzzle:
