Speaking of video talent, Invisible Ring recently released her full-length feature film Battle Morale, an original story of an optimistic Poptropican seeking hope and truth in a dark and pessimistic world. Watch it on YouTube with bonus clips, or below:
The production took at least three months since releasing the trailer, and the movie clocks in at an impressive hour and 43 minutes. In addition to Ring’s guest post on the Creators’ Blog about the film, look forward to her interview with the PHB coming up! ๐
Closing out this collection of fandom features is an Instagram story from the Pop Creators, showcasing fan art of a perky Popsona patting an adorably grumpy Bard. Aww, good doggo! ๐ถ
Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by Silver Shell. Enjoy!
Hi Poptropicans! Welcome to another Pop Petition! I’m talking about early access tickets today. Let’s get into it!
So back in the day, when new islands were released, you could buy these early access tickets from the store, which allowed you to access islands a month or so before it was released to the public.
Nowadays, the latest Dream Islands (Goofball and Fairytale) are obviously for everyone to play, but every time an old island gets converted, it’s for members only. Not only that, but it seems to stay that way for a long while.
Take Mission Atlantis for example. Episode 1 was brought back two months ago, but it’s still reserved for members only. I don’t have a problem with stuff being members only because Poptropica needs the money, but for this long? That’s a bit disappointing.
Early access cards existed before membership came to Poptropica โ so islands during the early access period were available to anyone who chose to buy the ticket from the store with their credits.
However, now that membership exists, it would look a bit different if they were to return. Islands could have an early access period for members, but non-members could also get a chance to play new islands during that time by getting the ticket, which would have to be pretty expensive. At least if players are paying by credits, it’s a lot more accessible to most kids than a real life credit card for membership!
The Poptropica Help Blog welcomes interesting Poptropica insights from anyone in the Poptropica community with thoughts to share. Interested in writing for the PHB? Weโd love to hear from you!
Hey Poptropicans, weโre approaching the end of the month, which means itโs time to announce another lucky Poptropican to win our monthly membership giveaway! ๐
If youโre not a member, you still have the chance (or many chances, in fact): the PHB is hosting a giveaway every month, and itโs easy to enter! Just comment on the Free Poptropica Membership page and leave at least two other comments around the PHB within the month to be entered into that monthโs giveaway.
Weโll announce a winner sometime in the final week of each month. If you donโt win, you can always try again for the next month! Full details ยป
Congrats again to Chilly Ice, and as always, keep on popping on! ๐ง
