For members, a new mythical mission awaits them on the latest Poptropica island -Mythology Island. To all the non-members (*high-fives*) out there, this island will be released FREE for everyone on April 29th.

Poptropica Creator Shark Boy says on the official Creators’ Blog that “We hope you enjoy it, this was a fun one to make. We have more awesome islands in the works, so stay tuned!” (More cool islands are on their way!)

Evidently, Vlad the Viking (another Poptropica Creator) agrees, declaring that “Mythology Island is the stuff of legends!” For those who aren’t members yet, he’s got them hooked with the official Mythology Island video trailer:

And in honor of this milestone, the Poptropica Help Blog is going to host a community contest right on this post! It’s simple, and [hopefully] fun for everyone.

Whoever writes the 100th (non-spam) comment on this post wins a very special Poptropica account. It’s not the best account out there, but to anyone who cares about the PHB, this should mean something to you. In the past few days, Master Mime has been up to mischief and messing about in an unsafe area offering little protection – it looks like a sinister green river – and is that a monster tail sticking out?!

Many of the PHB’s readers (who are very much into mythology) have pointed out that this could be the River Styx. It’s a good thing there’s a boat so you don’t fall into the deep and dangerous liquid below! Thanks to Spider880 for this update alert.
