Poptropica’s Super Sweet 16 đŸŽ‚đŸ§

Hey, everyone! Can you believe that Poptropica is turning 16 this September? Pretty wild, right?

Check your inventory and you’ll find two sweet gifts with space bar actions: the Frosting Splatter and the Sprinkle Sprayer. 🧁

Do these items seem a bit familiar? Well, they were originally called the Icing Blaster and the Sprinkles Cannon, and they were prizes for a Magic Bake-Off ad game. At least Poptropica remembered their birthday this year, unlike last year.

Happy sweet 16, Poptropica! Let’s celebrate by drawing fan art, making videos, and even baking a cake. As for us at the PHB, we may have something cooking. More details coming soon! 👀

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Let’s Explain the Poptropica Iceberg! No Comment? đŸ§Š

Good evening— or good morning depending where you live. Are you ready for Pop news? Let’s go!

Pop player KrishMortyJunior aka Krish made a video called “The Poptropica Iceberg Explained”. The 18-minute video covers each layer of the Poptropica iceberg, which details fun facts, Easter eggs, notable creators, and scrapped content relating to the game. Check it out:

There are so many facts covered in the video that you’re bound to learn something new. And we appreciate the inclusion of the PHB around the 5:44 minute mark — thanks, Krish! 🥰

In other blog-related news, it looks like we can no longer leave comments under posts on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog. We find that pretty suspicious, since fans have been calling for the Creators to update their blog, which has been silent since February. Instead of answering fans’ cries, they cut off one avenue of communication.

The Pop Creators’ Blog no longer accepts new comments.

What’s going on behind the scenes? The game still receives small updates, but the Creators don’t talk about anything outside of social media. For example, they recently shared a “Popstorm” tutorial on drawing a planet using artwork from Galactic Hot Dogs. It’s neat but nothing substantial, even with the Gatorade joke in the caption.

Poptropica is definitely in a weird state. At least fans like Krish are able to keep the game alive. If you want to talk to fellow fans, come join us over on our Discord server, the Poptropica Help Chat (for ages 13+).

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

Clubhouse Tour: Gentle Dolphin đŸĄđŸŹ

Hey, Poptropicans! I’m Gentle Dolphin, and welcome to my clubhouse! This humble abode is where I go when I’m not out exploring or getting the latest scoop. The flowers outside look absolutely lovely! 🌹🌷

Come on in! Follow me to the right and enter my “bedroom“. I put my bed near the door so I can go right to sleep after a long day, but my plushie collection kind of gets in the way. I didn’t fully think this through. 🛌🧸

Above my bed, you’ll find my little study. Here, I like to draw pictures and write PHB posts. The most notable part of the room is the large bookcase, displaying various books and trinkets. Look! My cat, Amy, is here! Say hello to her!😺

After work, I like to chill in the living room. It’s pretty simple with a couch, a radio, and some stuff for my pets. Speaking of pets, here’s another one of mine: Pupperoni the wolf! He’s big and lovable, if a little chaotic. 🐺

Feeling hungry? Go up and grab a snack in the kitchen. There’s some fruit, hot tea, and dark chocolate cake readily available. 🍎🫖🍰

The third floor hosts a large collection of Pop memorabilia from my journeys. A mini Poptropica blimp, figures of friends and foes, a big red rocket ship, a Goofball mural, and some Grapple-Pap decorations, just to name a few. 🏆🚀

Finally, come with me to my secret magic garden! ✨🪴 Well, it at least looks magical. My baby alicorn, Cool Whip, loves the decorations in this room. I was worried about Cool Whip getting sick by eating succulents, but I learned that unicorn horns can detect poison. She’ll be fine. 🦄

I hope you enjoyed my clubhouse tour. If you liked this, feel free to check out the other clubhouse tours we’ve covered. If you want to share your clubhouse, you can send it in as a guest post! Find out more on our Write for the PHB page.

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!

I spy with my private eye some Poptropica news đŸ‘ď¸đŸ”

Greetings, Poptropicans! We at the PHB apologize for the lack of news coverage these past couple of weeks. We have been preoccupied by Poppies planning and your fantastic fanfictions. Luckily, we uncovered some juicy updates and memes. Here is what we found:

We began our investigation on Home Island. While we didn’t see anything new outside, we found that Adventure Outfitters had changed its display for July. This month’s display features the return of old costumes (including Maryann-favorite Acidic Dinosaur🦖), as well as some summer clubhouse decorations. 🏖️👕🏡

We then took to the skies and surveyed the islands below. Some quick investigating revealed that Survival Episode 3: Distress Signal is now available to all players! 🏔️📻 There are two more episodes that have yet to reappear on desktop, but you can play them now on Steam or with AS3 Flashpoint.

That can’t be all, right? We turned our focus to social media and found a few notable posts. The first post is a news report covering how a brave Poptropican named Courageous Bean thwarted the hare-brained scientist, Dr. Hare, who is now in prison for treason and tax evasion. We reached out to Courageous Bean for more information, but they unfortunately never replied to our message.

How about Dr. Hare? Our only clue is this image of him writing messages to music sensation Taylor Swift. Perhaps he is convincing her to bail him out of prison? Poptropica’s police department might want to keep an eye on the situation.

This next bit of news resonated with us detectives. July’s member gifts give members the ability to become private eye investigators. Members can now don a stylish Private Eye outfit, wield a magnifying glass, and ride around on a scooter. 🔍🛵

Our last discovery might be the juiciest of them all. It has been suggested that Zomberry Island‘s blueberry smoothies might have predicted McDonald’s Grimace Shake. Pop Creator Jonathan Pitcher shared his fondness toward Grimace, so there is a connection between these deadly drinks. 🫐🥛

And with that, our investigation has come to a close. We hope you appreciate what we found. We will always cover Pop news as long as Pop keeps going.

Thank you for reading, and have a good day!
