The Poppies are our annual Poptropica fan awards, hosted here on the Poptropica Help Blog for all to join in the fun. From nominating to voting to the blue carpet party, it’s going to be a full month of celebrations — marking the ninth year of the awards and the PHB’s 15th birthday! ✨
To kick things off, the nomination round is open for one week from now until Saturday, July 8. We’ll be waiting for your noms in the comments!

Okay so my votes:
Best Airship arrival: Red Queen for Halloween, so erie and wonderful and frightningly fun.
Best Fanfic: Well, der, The Villains Saga, it’s amazing! (But y’know how can I not mention my Zombies, Zombies, ALWAYS ZOMBIES for being pretty decent)
Best Video: Idk…. I have some but I’m sure that theres something I haven’t seen yet that’s WAY better. (Spoiler: I’m working on an EPIC one right now, should be done by the end of this month).
That’s seriously all the opinions I have at the moment, can’t wait to see who and what gets nominated!

Best Fanfiction: (Oh, boy. I have read a lot of really great ones) Hm, let’s see, Nevermore by Brave Tomato was a really great interpretation on Raven’s backstory, Zombies, Zombies, Always Zombies by Magic Kid, is a fun one, and The Villain Saga by MaryannTheConquer really presented the villains in a jaw-dropping amazing way.
I could list a lot more, I love Pop fanfics, I can’t pick one favorite. (Well, a non-biased one, anyway. I could pick one from my Pink Knight series).
Most Unhinged Social Media Post from the Pop Creators: The “Best Ways To Procrastinate” short was really weird, did I miss a reference to something?

Best fanfic: I could be me and nominate my own fanfic Storm’s calamity, but I’m not going to do that. Instead I would like to nominate Dizzy Feather’s Pink Knight fanfic. It was the main inspiration for me to start writing Storm’s Calamity. Other honorable mentions are Villain Saga and Always Zombies, but it’s great to see the increase in Poptropica fanfiction
Best Airship arrival: DEFINITELY RED QUEEN. Her arrival surprised me and the lore we got from her visit was amazing. Honorable mentions go to Rumple’s visit, he was also a very important figure in dropping the Baron’s lore

Well, as everyone said, Red Queen’s arrival was the best (it influenced Rumpel’s story very much and it planted mystery in our thoughts)
BEST VERSION: I’ll go with Flashpoint, ’cause Steamworks is playable there (my favorite) and because I literally went straight away to install it first time I heard of it
WORST ALT-POPTROPICA PLATFORM: Roblox probably
BEST MINIGAME: I like Crash-n-Bash
BEST YEAR: 2011 (so many islands released in 2011!)

Best Airship Arrival: Well…I LOVED Red Queen’s arrival! If it’s alright to pick a second choice, I must say Rumple’s takeover was also very surprising!
Best Version Of Poptropica: Although I haven’t tried it yet, Flashpoint seems to be the go-to choice for me since it does have most of the old islands.
Worst Alt-Poptropica Platform: Roblox…ugh. And I don’t even have Roblox!
Best Available Mini-Game: Balloons!! Connect-4 but with balloon physics!
Best Year: I might be biased when I say this, but I’d 2014 was the golden year (although I wasn’t around Pop at that time sadly…)! I say this though because of Monster Carnival’s release AND Raven’s my #1 character.
