Well, that’s pretty much the “Let them eat cake” isn’t it? (For those who don’t know, “Let them eat cake” were the words that started the French revolution) If that doesn’t start a non-member revolution then I don’t know what will. -___-
Changing the subject, here are a few sneaky peakies from the Daily Pop.
Home Sweet Home: Just a quiet house in the suburbs. Or is it? Yes, it is.

No! It’s home to the chicken, who, quite famously, crossed the road. :O
Track Changes: You might want to watch out for anyone from the wrong side of the tracks. But which side is that?

Oh, dur. It’s the right side that’s the wrong side! Uh, wait no, it’s left that’s right and right that’s left! Um, no, I got it, the right is half wrong and the left is half right, but how much more half wrong or right than the other side? It’s tough to say. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Old School: This is Poptropica — you know there’s more here than meets the eye.

Yep, there are cheerleaders hiding inside the lockers, ready to leap out and cheer the new cheer. Or the lockers are revolving doors that lead the cheerleaders into the tryouts. Or………….. *suspense*…………….. it’s a school! *SCREAM!!!*
Dryer Eyes: Even more fantastical adventures await. Behold, the Laundromat!

Yeah, fantastical! Socks, breeches and britches!
We did not know you were real,
But the creators reveal these pictures!
Round and round and round you go,
making the wet clothes dry!
It sounds so exciting,
so in our blimp we’ll fly!
To laundry island! The island of clothes!
And washing machines, I’ll bet!
Everyone’s cleaning, and washing their clothes!
Be careful not to get wet!
But now the soap is running out,
and the clothes are clogged with mud!
Everyone pays for brand soap,
But the mixture is actually a dud!
So you catch this fraud, this crooked thief,
The one who everyone blames!
The wicked soap maker, who is called,
Ironically, Dirty James!
Ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Later, peeps. Green Boa

I’d rather be sailing

(You hear the neigh of a horse in the distance. The sound of horse hooves clomping closer and closer gets your attention, and you turn to see… Captain Crawfish riding a horse!)

Hijuyo: Woah there, Crawfish! What brought you here? Fate? Destiny?
CC: A horse.
Hijuyo: Oh, right.

Giddyup horsey!

CC:  Someone get me off this crazy thing! Turns out a horse is harder to control than a pirate ship! At least it doesn’t smell as bad as my scurvy crew, but dang, I would much rather be sailing…
Hijuyo: Well sir, I do hope you’re ready to be nommed.
CC: Whaaa…?
Hijuyo: *clobbers CC with a pan* Wow! Frying pans, who knew, right?
CC:  *falls to the ground. opens one eye* Gah, and all I wanted to say was that I hoped to see some Poptropica members on Wild West Island this weekend…
Hijuyo: *clobbers CC again and stuffs him into a refrigerator* I’ve got a person in my fridge! 😀
*The PHB mob runs over each other and make a beeline for the fridge*
Hijuyo: Eat up, and don’t forget, the horse meat doesn’t taste too bad either!

Grammar Police-STOP RIGHT THERE, EL5!
EL5-What’s going on?
GP-YOU USED THE INCORRECT SPELLING OF IS AND SAID IZ!
EL5-It was for the comedic effect, officer.
GP-I’ll be watching you. :@
EL5-Ok then… you know the score.

You know the score

With one week to go in February, let’s check in on some of the high score lists in the Daily Pop. Right now we’re seeing a big spread in scores for the game “Candy & Clyde.”

Today’s high scorer, Grey Shark, is also has the high score for the week: a cool 365. But check out what’s happening below him!

Quiet Burger is crushing the competition for the month, with a monstrous score of 20,785. Well done!

Do you think you can beat Quiet Burger’s score for February? You’ve got one week left to visit the games section of the Daily Pop and find out!

Wild West Island

Reload… FIRE!

Hey guys, Hicoga here.

Captain Crawfish made a new post to give you Poptropica members a helpful hint to let you beat some cowboys at sharpshootin’. And for the record, no, I’m not nomming him.

Poptropica Tips and Tricks: Reload!

A lot of Poptropica Members are getting ready to journey to Wild West Island this weekend. Wild West Island is one of our most varied adventures to date, with a lot of different mini-games to enjoy. Here’s a quick tip that should help you get through one of them, the shooting contest, with flying colors.

Whether you’re using the pea shooter or the spud gun, you’ll have five shots available before you have to reload (by pressing that big ol’ button at the top of the screen). So watch how many shots you have left. If you don’t, you’ll still get a helpful reminder that you need to reload once you’ve run out.

But here’s the trick: Sometimes, it makes more sense to reload before you’re out of ammo. If your opponent is looking at some targets that have already been hit, take the opportunity to reload, even if you’ve only fired a shot or two. That way, when you find a batch of new targets, you’ll have all the ammo you need. You won’t have to waste valuable time reloading while your opponent shoots them out from in front of you.
