Wow, the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Island sure snuck up on us quickly! Who’s ready to explore the factory? Samwow5 (Tough Icicle) was right on the top of his game and quickly had the walkthrough all written, with pictures included. If you’re stuck in a chocolate tube, you can use it for a little island help.

If you prefer, we’ve got a video playlist for CatCF as well. Members can play the whole island now, and non-members get a demo, but it’s out for everyone on December 6th. Sweet as Wonka’s whipple-scrumptious fudgemallow delight! 😀

Also, the third and final costume on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Multi-Prize Card has been unlocked! Aaand… it’s a paper clock tower costume. What?

Plot twist: I’m alive! 😉 Bet you weren’t expecting that one.

So, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has only been released for just over a day, and so many Poptropicans have already rushed through the gates, waving your Golden Ticket around yelling “I’M IN! I’M IN!”

Or at least most of you did. Some of you only yelled “I’M IN!” once.

Either way, whether you’re in or out, there are some who are undeniably quick and zip through islands. It requires speed, strength, knowledge, and a bag of candy.

Without further ado, let us congratulate those who stayed golden throughout the whole island and finished it the quickest! Put your hands together (even if they’re covered in chocolate) for…

Also, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will open to the public on December 6th, the same day the members-only Oompa-Loompa costume will disappear from the Poptropica Store…

In honor of CatCF, once again, the home page has a few visitors!

The interesting thing about this home screen change is that Willy Wonka stops for a second to do a little dance before continuing running to the right.

Anyways, there’s no guide yet, but there will be one as soon as possible! 😉 Also, today, the trailer for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was released (although it’s technically not a “trailer” if it is released AFTER the island came out… let’s just call it a video)

Today, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory members golden tickets, erm, golden cards have arrived in the Poptropica Store- the Everlasting Gobstopper, the Oompa-Loompa power, and the Oompa-Loompa costume! 😀

Just seeing the gold makes me anxious… anyways, here’s a look at what the items do…

The Everlasting Gobstopper is a power similar to the bubble gum- your Poptropican’s mouth does the same chewing motion, and every once in a while, a random fruit will appear over your head, probably indicating the flavor of the gobstopper you are currently on. There’s watermelon, lemon, blueberry, and cherry

Moving right along, there’s the Oompa-Loompa Power. If you click on it, a little Oompa-Loompa will come to you and give you a peppermint candy to hold! Perfect for confidence and energy boosts!

Finally, my personal candy slave giver! And speaking of those Oompa-Loompas, you can dress up as one, too!
