In other news, there is an interesting new Daily Pop post that caught my attention.

The caption reads “Mardi Gras: These folks are ready for Fat Tuesday”.

Mardi Gras is coming up on Tuesday, February 12 here in the United States, what are the creators planning with these fancy costumes? Could it be related to the new Mall Island which could or couldn’t have something to do with Monster Carnival?

Return of Monster Carnival?

One of Poptropica’s biggest mysteries is Monster Carnival Island… it appeared on the Map but vanished with no explanation one day to be replaced by 24 Carrot Island. However, this sneak peek (“Carnival of Costumes – maybe not quite a circus of values”) recently surfaced on the Daily Pop:

Could we be seeing the return of Monster Carnival? Or is this just going to be another shop in the new mall-themed island we’ve been seeing recently? After all, the white mannequins seen in the picture above are also featured in this Daily Pop (“Fashion Plate – try before you buy”) image:

Also, I recall that seconds 0:12 to 0:14 on the official trailer video for Poptropica’s Friends gave us a subtle hint for “MonsterCarnival2012.” However, it’s 2013 and we’ve yet to see it happen! (By the way, look up that username on the Avatar Studio and you’ll get a character with the name Monster Carnival!)

The video was posted in early April 2012, and here’s a screenshot of what I’m talking about:

Hello 2013 – happy new year!

Happy new year, Poptropicans! We survived 2012 and made it through ten new islands: Ghost Story (for all), S.O.S., Vampire’s Curse, Twisted Thicket, Poptropolis Games, Wimpy Boardwalk, Lunar Colony, Super Villain, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Zomberry (for members). Poptropica added members-only bonus quests for islands starting from SOS, the much-anticipated Friends feature was released, we celebrated Poptropica’s 5th birthday and 30th island (Super Villain), Poptropica came out with 4 new books, we experienced Poptropica on the DS, tribes were given special common rooms… looking back, things have been very eventful on Poptropica! 😀

2013 should be a very exciting year as well, for the PHB, the Poptropica Help Network, Poptropica, and of course the world. For starters, I’ve put up a new fresh header for the PHB! Also, be sure to check Party With Hobos, the comedy series written by MT, on January 7 – 11 for some special unreleased episodes! 🙂

Hey there fellow Poptropicans! There is a new Creators Blog post today about what seems to be the setting of an upcoming Island. Isn’t it nice to take a break from all of the conspiracy bad news circulating Poptropolis Island?

I went to the mall to exchange some holiday gifts, but I got there too late. They were closed.

Don’t you hate that? It’s not as though you can have any fun at the mall after it closes for the night.

What type of fun can we have in a mall after closing time? What type of quest could this involve? The mall mystery. This one little post raises a lot of questions about the premise of this upcoming Island. Recent Daily Pops have been pointing at a mall themed Island, could they hold all of the answers? Well, we will just have to see when we get to Twin Palms Mall.

Hey guys, I’m Fuzzy-B and I am the newest author here at the PHB! I would like to thank Slanted Fish so much for letting me join the blog. This is something that I have been dreaming of since I found out about the PHB back in 2009 from friends in my class. I hope to have a lot of fun here and post a lot of good updates. You may know me from the blog I run over here. Don’t worry, I will still post over there too.

A little about me is that I am a 14-year-old boy living in the central U.S.A. I love movies, running, and Jesus. I enjoy going to concerts, listening to music, and playing Poptropica (but that is obvious). “It’s been fun but now I’ve got to go, Life is way too short to take it slow, But before I go and hit the road I gotta know, till then, When can we do this again?”
