6th phb bday

It’s that time of the year again – the Poptropica Help Blog is celebrating its sixth anniversary this Saturday, July 26th, and we’ll be partying in Poptropica Multiverse rooms, where you can meet and battle other players, as well as the PHC, where you can chat with other PHB readers and staff! (Side note: catch up with the PHB’s story on our History page!)

The details are in the invitation graphic above – it’ll be July 26th at 9pm EST, 8pm CST, 7pm MST, 6pm PST; for those who don’t live in America, use a time converter to check when that’ll be in your time zone. Everyone’s welcome to join in the festivities, so bring your birthday balloons! 😀

(UPDATE: If you can’t make it at this exact time, don’t be afraid to come a little earlier or later! You can even come a few hours early for a pre-party if you like; there’s sure to be some Poptropicans to celebrate with. We’ll have a recap up on the blog afterwards, so you might be in it if you come!)

For those who are unfamiliar with the PHC, that’s the Poptropica Help Chat, the official PHB hangout. It’s a great place to chat with other Poptropicans anytime, not just when we’ve got a party going on, and sometimes you might even get to meet PHB staff! First Arabian Nights Daily Pops… and a new DS game?

Hey guys, BT here with a few updates from the Poptropica universe.

Somewhere right now in South Carolina, our CYDI winner Sarah must be squealing in delight, because the first two Daily Pops obviously for her winning island, Arabian Nights Island, have surfaced:

Desert and… desert station. This is really an obvious Arabian Nights Daily Pop – which leaves me to wonder if this island’s episodes are gonna criss-cross PoptropiCon’s episodes, just like Survival and Mission Atlantis.

Now anyways, if you’ve looked at the Creator’s Blog recently, you’ll notice that they changed their side format… again. Of course we have our two apps, the books, the shirts, and the video games links all snug next to each othe—

Wait…what is that picture next to the Video Games link? That doesn’t look familiar… It doesn’t look like the original Poptropica Adventures cover…

Yet I can kinda see the Ubisoft logo on the new cover….

It looks to me like there’s gonna be a Poptropica Adventures 2!!

But wait… when I look closer… I see two words… For some strange reason, it reminded me of the Forgotten Islands app… Yet I see pictures of the red ninja, the Aztec warrior, that pirate from Forgotten Islands and…I can’t tell who’s the last one.

What’s going on here?? I have no clue. After all, not an ounce of this is mentioned on the videogame page itself…

PHB Sneak Peeks: PoptropiCon confirmed!

The rumored convention island is a reality! Let me explain. 😛

While doing my creepy daily check on Poptropica’s servers, I found a strange title on the list of game files titled “con1”. I checked it out, and sure enough it was what I thought — the rumored convention island. In fact, it has the same name as what we’ve been calling it, PoptropiCon Island! 😀 After toying around a bit with the file names, I finally got into the island and found these amazing scenes.

Check out Pepe’s Pizza Puffs, which was also posted as a sneak peek on the Creators’ Blog along with a look at a pizza puff costume – could that be a bonus costume for members?

Also, con1 does mean that there will be other cons, thus meaning that this will be an episodic adventure. 🙄 I don’t know about you, but I don’t like having to wait a whole month before I can continue my adventure. I honestly like a story that you can play through and complete in one sitting.

From the looks of it, your task for episode 1 of PoptropiCon Island will be to get inside the convention center, considering that all the locations in it are outside.

Now, my thoughts: I am so glad that this is happening. If you saw the pictures in the gallery above, then you definitely know why I am so excited. The attention to detail is pretty awesome, and the premise is just as neat.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this unreleased tid bit. More info about the island is coming soon. 😀

Game-breaking Germany’s football costume

*sitting on couch, watching World Cup* COME ON! COME ON! UGH, NO! *sighs* Timmy, how’re the pizza rolls coming? We need to finish them before the readers co- OH, THEY’RE ALREADY HERE!

Heh, I mean, what’s popping, Poptropicans? Blake here, with a little bit of football fever! Or “soccer”, to you Americans. (I’m sorry americans please don’t eat my family) As you may know, Germany won the FIFA World Cup this past weekend, and as promised, the Creators have released their uniform as a free costume for everyone in the Store! But get it quick – it’ll be gone after one week.

So anyway, in addition to that, I have this screencap of me breaking the game. Physics is dead.

Have any of you experienced this glitch as well? Let me know in the comments below before the giant fire-retardant spewing plane eats me! Seriously, this thing won’t stop following me. Make it stop.
