Pop Merch Review: Vintage Bandana ๐Ÿงฃ๐Ÿ˜ท

Hey Poptropicans! Today, I’m bringing you a quick review of the Vintage Poptropica Bandana from the official Poptropica Zazzle Store.

The product is available in two sizes: kids/small (18″ x 18″) and adult/large (22″ x 22″). Both options feature the classic blue Poptropica throw pattern. It costs US$18.95 and is made of “100% spun polyester,” making it really lightweight and breathable. The material is pretty smooth and reminds me a lot of a cotton bedsheet.

I have always loved this pattern and I’m excited to see it on so many products in Poptropica’s merch store. You can also get it on leggings, a face mask, a puzzle, or a skateboard!

One thing that does disappoint me: the pattern is only printed on one side of the cloth. The back of the bandana is a thin heather white. Though I wish the pattern continued on both sides, it was not a surprise.

I will also say that the pattern’s images are a bit larger than I originally expected! Not a drawback by any means, just something to note. I’m pretty impressed with the quality of the print.

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with this item. Though thin, the feel and quality of the cloth is great, and I obviously love the pattern.

Finest Piece of Pop Merch Review: Time Tangled Wall Clock โฑ๐Ÿ—ฝ

Hey Poptropicans, this is aย guest postย by Dangerous Dragon, originally published on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog. Plus, the item being reviewed was just named the “Finest Piece of Merch” in the 2021 Poppies. Enjoy!

Hey Poptropicans, DD here! I was invited by the PHB to do a merch review, and since they had a gift card from the Pop Creators, they sent me a free Time Tangled wall clock. I just want to say thank you!

The clock is available for US$32.95 on Poptropicaโ€™s Zazzle shop and matches the time device on Time Tangled Island.

The clock arrived in a parcel and was covered with plastic covering to keep it protected. Looks pretty sweet!

After you’ve gazed at the beautiful clock, you need to get it working. To do that, add an AA battery to the back of the clock. That should get the clock ticking away! You can also adjust the clock hands from the back so that it shows your local time.

Now to display the clock, you just need to get a nail and use it to hang the clock on the wall. Thereโ€™s your Time Tangled clock!

On the wall

A couple of comments: I think there could be numbers on the clock, since it lacks that. Also, it might be better with a protective covering around the clock so that it doesn’t get dusty.

Overall, it is stylish! Thatโ€™s the end of this review. Look forward to more merch reviews on the PHB, and be sure to check out Smart Icicle’s Blog where I also write. Bye friends!

Keep Poppin,
DD ๐Ÿ’œ

Pop Merch Review: Funny Bunny Hat ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿงข

Originally published on the Poptropica Creatorsโ€™ Blog.

Hey Poptropicans! Today, I’m bringing you a quick review of the Funny Bunny Farmer’s Hat from the official Poptropica Zazzle Store.

The cap costs US$14.95 and comes in one style: white/green. Though it comes in one size, there is an adjustable snap strap on the back ranging from 17″ to 24″. The front is made of 100% polyester foam and the back is 100% nylon mesh. It is a trucker style hat, so the mesh back is quite breathable.

The Funny Bunny Carrot Farm comes from 24 Carrot Island and is certainly a recognizable, classic design. Other than this hat, it is also available on a mug. I’m impressed with the quality of the print!

The foam front is a bit stiff, but not too bad. And the adjustable strap works well. The brim is strong, yet flexible, and the hat is overall pretty comfortable to wear.

I’ll be excited to wear my new Funny Bunny hat more this summer and see how it holds up against the brutal summer sun.

Pop Merch Review: Dr. Hare Button ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ”˜

Originally published on the Poptropica Creators’ Blog.

Hey Poptropicans! Sometimes good things come in small packages, and I’ll be sharing about one that I got: the Dr. Hare button!

The Dr. Hare button is available from Poptropica’s Zazzle merch store for US$2.25 and comes in various sizes (ranging from 1 ยผ to 6 inches) and shapes (round or square). I went for a classic round shape with a small diameter of 1 ยผ inch. Here’s the packaging it arrived in:

For its small size, the button sure came in a large packet. Cactus not included.

And here’s Dr. Hare with Dr. Hare to show off the front and back of the button. The way the distinct goggles and teeth are surrounded by lots of negative space gives the design a nice minimalist feel. Overall, it’s definitely a cute pin of Poptropica’s pinkest punk!

You can stick this button anywhere that the pin can poke through, like your backpack, denim jacket, lanyards, or more. As for me, my Dr. Hare button has found a home among my pin collection.

Can you spot the carrot thief?

Thanks to the Poptropica Creators for sponsoring this post! The Creators kindly hooked up the PHB with a generous Zazzle gift card, so we’ll be sharing more merch reviews here soon. Stay tuned! ๐Ÿ‘€
