Clubhouse Tour: Pink Lightning ๐Ÿก

Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by Pink LightningEnjoy!

Hi! Pink Lightning here! I was busy going to school so it’s been a while since I wrote a post. (Last time, I wrote one on My Place in Poptropica!) Anyway, today I am introducing my clubhouse to you.

We’re starting from the pet corner! (Or the storage room, as I like to call it. But my dog DJ sleeps there, so…) It’s got a basket for clothesโ€”actually, for old clothes that DJ will scratch and tortureโ€”and DJโ€™s bed. Because it is closest to the door, I chose to introduce it first.

And then… this is the unicorn corner. Where I enjoy watching cute unicorns and beautiful plants. I will imagine myself as a unicorn sometimes, too.

And then… this room is called the โ€œI-wanna-punch-someone-in-the-face-so-leave-me-aloneโ€ room. This is nearly empty because when I am angry, I LOVE to smash things. But I have no idea why the chair and the plant survived. Probably because I want to leave something to smash next time.

And then… my study! My favourite place! It is where I read books and have some rest. I love reading! Do any of you love reading? Answer in the comments!

And then… the living room! It is where I have some golden pineapples and watch some TV. I like to watch the Poptropica channel. It is cool. Have you subscribed to the Poptropica YouTube channel? You should!

At last… my bedroom!!! Where I sleep between trees. The basket is for my unicorn follower to sleep in. I chose this spot for my bedroom because of the wallpaper. This room has the UNICORN.

Hope you enjoyed my post! See you everyone!

P.S. Does anyone else think that the Pop creators are being pretty generous lately? A lot of things that I thought should be members only are not. (Thanks, Pop creators!) What do you think? Share in the comments below!

Trend Report: Rumplestiltskin cosplay and empty promises ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Howdy Poptropicans! It’s LJ here reporting on the final weekly store update of April.

A good selection of outfits were added in Adventure Outfitters, including the look of Rumplestiltskin from Fairytale Island (check out our guide and review!). We even got a couple of knights appropriately for sale too. Neato! The total number of stock is 24 (which is more than the usual 18) and only 8 are for members. Prices range from 75 to 350 credits.

We got a few new fairytale themed items in the side sections as well. You’ll notice an adorable cat-i-corn topper when you first walk in (I’m totally picking this up!), and if you go to the right you’ll see a legendary sword and a big (or should I say little?) bad wolf follower. So cool!

The clubhouse furniture store items have also been rotated. As far as I’m aware, the “new” items include a lantern (first pic), a wooden vanity (second pic), and a turquoise soda machine (last pic). I put “new” in quotations because although the items weren’t featured in the store last time, they’ve been available in Adventure Outfitters for weeks now. So yeah, nothing technically new, just thought it was worth pointing out. ๐Ÿ˜›

Also, a belated happy Earth Day to all! Although April 22 was a big day on Poptropica for the release of Fairytale Island, the creators also took the opportunity to celebrate our planet with an Instagram post. The caption includes encouragements for greener living and a Wendell Berry quote: “The Earth is what we all have in common.”

That’s all the updates for now, but before I close off this post, you know what update is lacking? Hmm… where are the results of the recent fanart contest? We were told the winners would be announced on the 23rd yet here we are three days later, and nothing โ€” with no word on what the holdup is. Come on, creators.

Empty promises from Poptropica? Yuck.

On the topic of art, be sure to participate in this month’s Community Creations; the theme is bugs. Who knows? Maybe an idea will crawl its way into your head. Anyway, it’s time to sign off now. Pop on!

Clubhouse Tour: Shy Popper ๐Ÿก

Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by White FoxEnjoy!

Hi Poptropicans! Today, I’m going to do another clubhouse tour. Yes, I know what you’re thinking: “Jeez, lady! How many clubhouses do ya have?!” Not to worry โ€” I’m not going to do one of mine this time.

My friend, Shy Popper, AKA Silver Raptor, AKA The Popping Poptropican, AKA The Gamer Gal, AKA 6 other entry names she wanted me to write, asked me to do a clubhouse tour for her. Here goes!

Here I am at her house! This is where her pets live. She has every single pet in the shop, so it gets kind of cramped in there. ๐Ÿ˜‚ It also serves as a yoga space. Just above is her beach area, where she can relax on a chilly day, while still sitting in the sun!

To the left is another room. Apparently, she just likes to watch the fire and look at dinosaurs. Did I mention she’s obsessed with dinosaurs? Above are her plants, and a green balloon. Don’t ask me why that’s there. I have no clue.

Next up is Shy Popper’s bedroom. As you can see, it’s pretty crowded here. There’s the bed, with a little stuffed penguin sitting there to comfort her. The chocolate fountain, the pom-pom wreath, the LED flamingo, and the TV surround this area. Off to the left is the hoop she uses to practice for the Ephraim University basketball team. There is also a tiny blimp, a popsicle poster, and a gamer sign.

And finally, we see Shy Popper herself up in her recording studio, where she plays her guitar and sings for all Poptropicans on the channel Pop-Tube (that doesn’t actually exist; don’t try to search it up). A little farther down, her magic area. A phoenix and crystal ball sits here, plus some LED moon… I have no idea why that is there.

Well, there it is! I hope you enjoyed seeing Shy Popper’s clubhouse! If you want to check out the space for yourself, her username is babysharkdododo#1 โ€” add her as a friend!

Peace,
White Fox

Clubhouse Tour: Noisy Snowball ๐Ÿก

Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by Noisy SnowballEnjoy!

Hello everyone! Itโ€™s me again, Noisy Snowball! There have been a lot of clubhouse tours, so I decided, why not make one myself?

I took some time to complete the design, and now my clubhouse now looks awesome to me, so itโ€™s a perfect time to share it. First up: the entrance. My entrance is pretty simple, but I like it!

Two palm trees greet me as I enter, with an open window allowing me to see outside and let some nice air in. And next to the window are two sets of swords and shields!

Now to the left, here is one of my two relaxation places. In the bottom one, I have a couch to lay on with my pets, a basket to hold stuff in (my pets also like sleeping in it), and one of my favorite things, a plush unicorn saying hello! Plush toys are some of my favorite things, so when I saw one in the shop, I had to get it. ๐Ÿฆ„

Above the couch, this is where I sleep! A hammock does a really good job for me, and itโ€™s a bit more fun than a simple bed. I also have a bookshelf with all kinds of books! Itโ€™s nice to read before I sleep. I also have a mini moon hanging over it, which looks cool, but can also remind me to go to bed if I accidentally stay up.

How about a quick view of what’s up there?

Woah! That is a long fall! Luckily we donโ€™t take damage in Poptropica clubhouses. Anyway! There are a few lights hanging on the ceiling, and another open window, along with a basketball hoop. It’s pretty fun for some solo basketball training! Now, letโ€™s move to the right…

Welcome to the center of my clubhouse! A few things are hanging on the wall, including a picture of a popsicle, a cactus photo, and a poster for a concert. I have to confess, the popsicle picture makes me hungry sometimes. There are a few plants up here, as well as a fake pineapple. Thereโ€™s also a vanity, which I use to brush my hair and for a few other things, and a water cooler to stay hydrated. And in the middle, thereโ€™s a dog house, which my pets like to live in. Oddly, they take turns in it, but at least theyโ€™re sharing it. Now, itโ€™s time for the top right!

Here is my other relaxation stop! We have another couch here, with a LED moon over it. I have a table as well, which has a little candle on it. But my favorite part here is the TV! I love watching TV shows and movies โ€” it helps me relax after a long day. Maybe we could have a movie night?

Anyway, onto my gaming area! Since Iโ€™m a huge gamer, as evident from the poster, of course I needed a gaming area. And itโ€™s really cool! A chair to relax on to browse the internet or play PC games, an awesome gaming PC with all of the essentials (and even a place to put drinks), and a speaker so I can hear everything coming from the PC! Iโ€™ve had a lot of fun over here, and itโ€™s probably my favorite spot in the clubhouse.

Time to move down for the final area! I donโ€™t really know what to call this area, but I guess itโ€™s for technology. I have a table here that has a radio on top, which reports news from islands set in older time periods. Itโ€™s really interesting to hear whatโ€™s going on, especially since they arenโ€™t as advanced in society as we are. I also have a soda vending machine, which is always good when Iโ€™m craving a soda. Plus there’s an ice cream dispenser! Getting ice cream 24/7 always cheers me up, especially after going on cruises that have had 24/7 ice cream machines!

And thatโ€™s it for my clubhouse! I hope you enjoyed it, everyone! I’m considering writing a โ€œMy Place In Poptropicaโ€ for my next guest post, but I only started playing Poptropica in January 2021, though I did know what Poptropica was for a while. So I’m not sure. People in the comments, should I do a โ€œMy Place in Poptropicaโ€ post?

Thatโ€™s it from me! This is Noisy Snowball, signing off!

New stuff in the stores and art galore

Howdy Poptropican friends! It’s LJ with some new store swag for both your clubhouse and your next Poptropica fit, plus some more artist highlights form Poptropica’s Instagram. Let’s get into it.

In the newly opened Adventure Outfitters, there are a total of seven new outfits (indicated below) โ€” two of which are for members only. The prices range from 75 to 350 credits.

Albeit members exclusive, I’m glad to see the Lightning Knight costume back since it’s of the best costumes in Poptropica in my opinion. Now onto the Clubhouse store. There’s much more to see there…

The entire stock has rotated from the last time leaving us with 55 different dรฉcor options โ€” and the best part of all, only a mere 7 items are members only! Good job Poptropica. Time to start decorating! Perhaps you can send in your very own clubhouse tour.

Yesterday, Poptropica featured more fantastic artwork from fan artists on Instagram, this time including me! A cute comic redraw, a pop portrayal (which you probably recognize from Guess That Poptropican), an island pitch, a suggestive picture of Binary Bard after the glow up… it’s all there!

I love everybody else’s drawings and I hope the creators keep on sharing them; it’s really one of my favorite parts about the online community. If you want to view more from the past year, you can see them in the Fan Art highlight story on their Instagram page.

Welp, that’s all the news for now. Thank you for reading as always and I’ll talk to you in the next one. We have some exciting things happening later this month and you won’t want to miss it. Pop on!
