Are you excited for PoptropiCon? PHB commenters Fast Flame and Advika have speculated that it may be a cross between Fashion Crisis Island (a runner-up in the CYDI contest) and Mocktropica. There’s a new sneak peek on the Creators’ Blog – and I’d show it to you, but first, let me take a selfie.

Okay, yeah, moving on… have you noticed that the Creators’ Blog made a few subtle changes in design? HP did touch on some changes they made earlier, but now there’s more. It’s now a little wider, and if you don’t have AdBlock, you may notice an ad in the sidebar. Here’s a before and after pic:

By the way, the Creators’ Blog isn’t the only place that shows sneak peeks – the Daily Pop has tons more, and in case you missed it, the PHB now has the complete collection of Daily Pops archived all on one page for easy viewing – almost four years’ worth! If nothing else, at least take a look at my witty captions. 😛

Also, thanks to the many of you who have taken the PHB readers’ survey! If you haven’t taken it yet, it’ll only take a few minutes, so please do – it gives you a chance to tell us how we’re doing and what you’d like the PHB to focus on! Results are still being gathered, so get heard today!

UPDATE: One last thing – the Android version of the Poptropica app has been delayed again, according to Poptropica’s official Twitter. Last we heard, they were hoping for a September release, but now they’re not promising anything…

Wow, 13 million hits already? We just had a party not too long ago, but you guys do deserve something super cool for bringing the PHB this far! This thirteen means you’re in luck, not out of it – because as the graphic above summarized, this celebration comes in 3 awesome parts! 😀

part one :: the complete daily pop sneak peek archive

Yes, the whole shebang, from November 2010 to the present! After lots of hard work collecting all the images from a certain link where the date can be changed, the PHB now has the complete archive of sneak peeks from the Daily Pop all on one page. Browsing through the ages here should be a lot easier than using the actual Daily Pop! We’ll be updating the page every month. Click here to view it!

TMNT “Pizza Time” power

Hey Poptropicans! Quick post to alert you that there’s a new video ad on Main Streets (I found it on Super Power). After playing the trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, you’ll receive the Pizza Time Power! Using it gives other Poptropicans in the area a random-colored mask (orange, purple, red or blue) and pizza slice handheld, but unfortunately, they can’t be Costumized.

Galactic Hot Dogs: Princess Dagger prize pack & new costume closet!

Hey Poptropicans – Galactic Hot Dogs is back on Poptropica with some new goodies! This time I found it on Main Street of Super Power Island. Last time the GHD stand was around, it brought along the Ice Blaster Pistol, and the time before that, the Princess Dagger (girls) and Cosmoe (boys) costumes. Those prizes are now back, along with two new ones: Jack and Princess Follower!

When you click on the GHD stand to receive your prizes, you’ll also be brought to the GHD site on Funbrain where you can read the graphic novels for free! By the way, Galactic Hot Dogs uses the font “Luckiest Guy”, which PHB author HP once recommended as a free alternative to Poptropica’s title font, Ghostkid AOE. Cool, eh? 😀

Also, here’s a look at part of the prize pack in action: the Princess Follower is as tall as your Poptropican, Jack transforms your head and body into a robot (you can use the Costumizer tool to remove it), and the Ice Blaster Pistol freezes innocent bystanders into a block of ice for a moment.

Update by Samwow5: Hey everyone! There is a new feature for Poptropica’s costume closet! It’s only accessible on SUIs: you customize a Main Street character and the Costumizer screen pops up.

By clicking the green button with a clothes hanger and a plus, it adds the costume immediately to your closet. When you click the blue button with a hanger, it opens up your closet and lets you scroll through and delete costumes you don’t want.
