Hi guys! Slightly long time no see. I’d first like to say I hope you all had a great Halloween and you didn’t worsen your cold like I did. Or get any rocks for candy, which I can’t quite admit happened to me.

My first thought was to associate the clock in the background with Big Ben, but in truth, Dr. Hare would never make it to London without me. I’d force him to take me with him even if it meant dealing with an evil pink bunny, because if there’s any place I want to go, it’s London!

Slanted Fish

You remember entering a strange pumpkin patch days ago, but as you continue to take steps further, you begin to get lost, caught up by the wonders that now capture your attention. What started as a mere field has now grown abundantly, and with every passing corner you see more and more pumpkins growing, an overgrowth of vines sprouting and spilling in all directions. You have no idea where you are anymore and the maze of foliage blending with the large fruits only draw you in closer and closer, until…

A twig snaps. You turn, but there is no one there, only the empty wind howling eerily and blowing in your face. However, the scene has now changed. You find yourself standing in front of a lone dead tree, with a parcel sitting beside it. Tearing it open, you discover a selection of some of the best “pumpkins” you came across on your journey, shivers running down your spine as you think of how chillingly awesome they all are.

These pumpkins, of course, are your entries to the PHB’s Third Annual Halloween Contest! There were LOTS of awesome contributions to the patch, but I’ve decided to highlight one from each category:

COSTUMES

Vampire Goth Girl (Invisible Bee)

  • Hair-Vampire Girl 1 (or any long hair), with the girl in the green toga in herc’s hero hut, mythology island’s makeup/hair thing
  • Mouth-Girl on main street, Counterfeit Island, with the blue jacket/white skirt
  • Top-Vampire Girl 3 (or any black shirt)
  • Belt/Skirt-Goth girl in the rumor mill, Astro Knights Island
  • If you want you can carry the scythe from the end of haunted house or wear the spy island medallion. If you have followers (spook pack) you can use one of those too, or the phantom effect.
Fiendish Knight (Machine Lord)
  • Put on the knight armor from the guards on Astro-Knights. Leave the helmet off.
  • Then put on the devil horns from the monster in the Poptropica Store.
  • Go to Spy Island to get bald hair.
  • Put on the yellow eyes from the zombie costume on Haunted House. Don’t forget to get a black cape from there! Oh, and use the same pointy teeth from the costume above.
  • For a hand item, you could use the scythe, but I prefer to use the Lantern from the glitch on Cryptids Island.

Good day, everyone! There’s only one day left until the Pumpkin Patch winners are announced – and you could still enter too! Who knows, you might just get first place. Good luck!

Looks like Legendary Swords, the awaited island/game premiering in the Poptropica Store on 11/11/11, released an exciting trailer that’ll make you curse at how slow time travels.

Did you see that robot flexing? Hehe. 😀 We’re going to swing some swords definitely when it premieres! Sorry for the such short post, but I just think everyone should see that trailer –  and that robot that flexes to mock you.

Today is a short and sweet post announcing the official start of Game Show Island for members! The countdown has stopped and gone down to 0 (too bad I wasn’t there to see the glorious moment 😦 ) and the island is now available! You can expect to find a guide on here very soon for those of you who are challenged with the island. Non-Members can play the first part of this quiz related island, though!

Also, a quick note from ElmoPwns:

I will not be posting for an amount of time during these recents times. The reason being a private medical reason. I have not brought myself and have neglected my role on The PHC for some time as well for being a Moderator. Though most of my status is currently private, I will not be posting for a week or two. In case I do not come back in a month, I guess you’ll know that I am in a serious status as to cannot access my computer life and cannot fulfill my abilities as an author or as a Moderator. I want to thank the community for your kindness in case I do not come back for good. My special thanks also goes to Hijuyo for her support and for being a friend as well. Hijuyo, thanks, and please don’t remove me right away until a month later if I have no activity at all. I cannot figure out or come to an ultimatum of my condition, but I can say that it is severe enough as to be deprived of my virtual life.
