Timmy Failure Island has been released for non-members! It’s now your time to find the pants, and yes, Poptropica is hashtagging #FindThePants on Twitter today.

That’s not all: throughout the day, the Creators will be releasing promo codes that you can redeem in celebration of Timmy Failure. Current code: FINDTHEPANTS4 (awards 150 credits – expires after this weekend!)

In addition to releasing the island and free credits, Poptropica has also adorned their Twitter cover with a Timmy Failure poster and changed their avatar to a pic of Timmy himself!

Throughout the day, they’ve also been tweeting Timmy Failure Island sneak peeks and even some fun gifs of custom animation work they did for the island:

I also suggest giving Brave Tomato’s playthrough of the island a watch. Have fun finding Timmy’s pants and saving his “reputation”!

Big news! Just before the release of Timmy Failure Island for non-members, I have a tidbit of info concerning the next island – now officially Prison Break Island!

It hasn’t been formally announced, but I found it in the files, along with some a list of the items on the island. I’m going to save some details for the Behind-the-Scenes & Theory, but here’s a few pictures of the preliminary Main Street:

I’m excited for this island – it looks fresh and somewhat different from the regular Poptropica tone. In fact, from the Daily Pops that have been released, it reminds me of Our Discovery Island in the art direction! Check out more sneak peeks in the PHB’s Prison Break Island post category!

Timmy Tuesday, Spooky Snapshots

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that Timmy Failure Island is out for everyone tomorrow! Yeah that’s right…a Tuesday! (Find out why in this PHB post.)

For everyone getting ready to start the great pants chase, we have a guide made by our very own Brave Tomato that can help you through the parts you get stuck on!

In other news, there have been some changes on Home Island! In front of the Shop, there used to be a guy with an eyepatch standing there – but now there’s a different NPC, the gender of whom depends on your character. The outfit of the NPC also varies, but it looks pretty snazzy!

Finally, last but not least, there has been some changes to the Photo Booth (plus the NPC in front has been replaced with a witch)! The Creators just added some frightful new backgrounds, characters, and props! Now you can make Poptropica Halloween-themed photos using backgrounds and stickers with all your favorite Halloween characters.

Anyway, that’s it guys! Have a fun time with all the new updates and send us some of your photos! We want to see your amazing creations!

Hey Poptropicans, the butter is back! 😀

Issue #26 of our Poptropica fan magazine, known as The POPCORN, has just been released, with all sorts of Poptropica fan creations, including stories such as “Par of Poptropica” by Friendly Comet, artwork by Slippery Raptor, and more! As usual, this is available as a PDF.

To send in entries for The POPCORN, simply email us at [email protected], comment on this blog, or tweet us @Poptropica_Help. We’re looking for all kinds of Poptropica fan creations, including stories, fan art, comics, costumes, island ideas, and whatever else you can think of. We’ll also be scouring the web for some handpicked selections, including the We-Love-Poptropica deviantArt group (of which I’m an admin!). Remember to proofread your own submissions – your work is your responsibility! That being said, we’re always excited to see what you guys come up with. 😀

Prepare for failure this… Tuesday?!

timmybook The Creators have reminded us that on October 6th, which is next Tuesday, Timmy Failure Island will be open to all players! But why does it fall upon a Tuesday when island releases are usually on Thursdays?

Here’s the reason they gave: “on that same day, the newest Timmy Failure book will become available when Timmy Failure: Sanitized for Your Protection hits bookshelves!”

Oh cool! So now you know what to do on Tuesday! Poptropica usually updates around 12 PM-3 PM EST, so make sure to get a head start on this pants-chasing adventure!
