Ninja-tastic…for reelz yo.

I’m not too happy today…someone stole my super powers. But whatever. On to the updates, shall we?

SPOILER WARNING!
The following FIRST image contains sneak peeks to the upcoming Counterfeit Island which have not been officially revealed by Poptropica Creators.

  1. New SWF Cards Discovered by Comical Eye!
“Well you know how on the PHB, ruthrose88 found those SWF cards for Counterfeit Island, right? Well I went to a lot of trouble to get the WHOLE of ALL the cards that ruthrose88 found. (Thanks to coderkid for the application that I used.) Well, here they are.”

  2. New Information Under Poptropica! Credit to GoldenButterfly!
“I was going around Poptropica and found this under the game screen. Not much so important but hey, it’s new ain’t it?”– from GoldenButterfly

How about: "Did you know? You can earn 2000 credits when you complete an island!" Much better, am I right?
  3. New Side Ads, Credit to Johnny!
This new side ad is for the game “Nanovor” in which you build, create, and battle nano-bot like creatures online.
Looks fun, but I think I won’t be playing it – you have to pay to get more out of the game. Check out their site here: Play Nanovors!

Poptropican’s 911: Issue #7

Beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep…

Hold on a second, what’s going on here? A malfunction with our systems?

Nope, but issue #7 of the PHB’s Poptropican’s 911 monthly newsletter has arrived! Don’t look so bewildered – any true Poptropica fan would want to read this. 🙂

Redirect to Issue #7

Also, our ‘Poptropica Poll’ widget to the right side has been updated with the question, ”What do you think of the upcoming Counterfeit Island?” Move your cursor over there and submit your opinion!

November 2009’s poll question read, ”Did you pay any real money for Poptropica merchandise?” Here are the results:

Option | Votes | Percentage
No, I did not spend real money for Poptropica products. | 1,501 | 76%
I bought credits to spend at the Poptropica Store. | 292 | 15%
I bought Poptropica T-shirts from Zazzle.com. | 65 | 3%
I bought device skins from SkinIt.com. | 58 | 3%
I bought Larger Than Life stickers at LTLprints.com. | 53 | 3%

Total votes: 1,969

The majority says they do not spend real-life money on Poptropica products. Looks like the Poptropica Creators are going to have to keep working at it *cough*LOWERPRICESPLEASE*cough* if they want more purchases on their stuff! xD

Hope you’ll enjoy reading our 911 this month, and maybe even be inspired to submit your own entries! Congratulations to everyone who entered something for the 911, whether it made it or not. 🙂

Ribica

Hello.

“After my quick break at the local cafe, I explored more of this new island to discover the people here calling it “Counterfeit Island.” What an intriguing name, I wonder why they call it that? I guess I’ll just have to explore some more to find out.”

The title of this post is “Did someone say, “Counterfeit Island?”The image used in this post is here:
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q9BePaDQLzI/Sv2xBeYYl2I/AAAAAAAAAFU/vm4KLE5vtTc/s1600-h/little_fish.jpg

little_fish
In this picture, we can see Comic Kid standing on a barrel on the dock. He is close to a boat named Ribica.

The title of that picture, peculiarly, is little_fish.jpg.

Analyze: We can safely assume that this place is on the same island as the Jazz Cafe that we recently saw in this post due to this excerpt from the post above:

“After my quick break at the local cafe, I explored more of this new island

Unfortunately, our predictions of a continuation of French Island were wrong. Instead, we have what is referred to as “Counterfeit Island.” It’s excellent that they are already working on a new island, although I hope RTV Island releases soon, as well.

Motionman95 has made a new App!! The Poptropica Help Team introduces to you- Barney The Dinosaur PoptroporteX!!! (Or the PPX for short.)

This amazing creation takes you to old and new ads on Poptropica. All you need to do is:

  1. Log in to Poptropica.
  2. Select the advertisement building you want to go to from the dropdown list and click on it.
  3. You will be teleported to that ad place. You’ll also see a funny joke while you’re waiting.

If you want to Costumize a costume from any of the ads, follow these steps:

  1. Open Poptropica, and log in.
  2. Open PoptroporteX, and go to the desired ad.
  3. Costumize any costume.
  4. Save your game in POPTROPICA, then log out.

That poptropican is ME!!
That poptropican is ME!!

It’s new, in case you haven’t heard of it. There isn’t really a quest. The quiz game is so easy, you can figure it out just by guessing. Or, just forget THAT, and go up using those cool flying hovercrafts and you admire the costumes.  I just costumized Astro Boy’s hair. And, did you know that Astro Boy releases on my BIRTHDAY!!?? Well, that’s pretty much it. 😛 Brilliant.. NO QUEST, FREE COSTUMES FOR ALL!! We thank TOMZILLA, a PHF user, for the update.

And on other news, my birthday is coming up (October 23rd), and I got an early birthday present- An iPod Touch!!! GO ME!! 😛

TTFN,

Gazek.

The House is Open

Poptropica’s big Halloween event of the year, the Haunted House mini-quest, is now available! (Don’t be scared to log in; it won’t harm you!)

A huge thanks goes to MuddyDragon for helping out with the instructions guide, which you can read by visiting this link: https://poptropica.wordpress.com/haunted-house-guide/!!

Also, there is a Tinker Bell advertisement building for some ages on Main Street (any island)! Check out the fairies!

Haunted House Out Now!

The Haunted House is now out so grab your pitchforks, grab your cell phones, it’s time to visit the Haunted House. Your task is to use the furniture around the large and haunted mansion to find the four treasures of the dead. Beware of the spooky ghost hanging around the shower… (Hint: It doesn’t play any role in this mini-quest!)

The Haunted House can be accessed via the blimp (any island) by clicking on the green Hyde guy in the bottom left corner of the map. Note that the ‘Haunted House’ isn’t an actual location, because when you’re there, the map shows the island you just came from through the blimp. Sort of strange and mysterious. 😛

On completion of the mission you will be rewarded with 50 credits! Also at the end there is a HUGE selection of Halloween clothing for you including awesome hand-held items to help you get into the Halloween spirit. There is even a Grim Reaper and a scythe! Even better, pressing the space bar while wielding the scythe will hold it up (special action). Oh goody goody!

On a side note: Codien is back from his world trip. You can read what he got up to in his blog, which can be accessed via the PHB’s blogroll on the right.
