PoptropiCon Ep. 3 to return next month 🤖

Wicked Cool News alert: PoptropiCon Island, Episode 3: Reign of Omegon returns to the map next month, completing the saga! ⚡️

The news comes as Ep. 2: Spoiler Alert was re-released to all players two months ago, giving everyone a chance to explore the epic Poptropica convention and uncover the twist behind the Omegon costume contest.

There’s no mention yet about who will be granted access, but if the recent past is an indicator, the episode will probably release for members only first — and hopefully for all eventually.

However, all episodes of PoptropiCon are currently playable in Poptropica’s paid Steam bundle, which also comes with many other newer classic islands. Read our Steam review here!

Onto another villain, Poptropica on Twitter recently put out a Pop poll about Dr. Hare’s species. As lore would have it, perhaps it’s both: Dr. Hare was a scientist who fused into his current form of evil genius rabbit when an experiment on a bunny rabbit went wrong. 🐰

There’s a new ad on Home Island for McDonald’s Happy Meals, which (for those in the US) are now offering Match Battle boxes as an extension of the Pokémon trading card game. Watch the short video to earn 10 credits, and replay it as much as you like to keep collecting credits!

Pop drop alert: Rumpel’s Challenge is now available for all! 😈 Once for members only, this side quest sequel to Fairytale Island which first launched 10 months ago is finally welcoming non-members who’ve completed the main quest to continue the story.

To get cracking on the riddles, find Rumpelstiltskin on Home Island. Alas, the lead-up with the suspiciously twitching Baron is no longer in sight. For a helping hand in your inter-island search for the true king of Fairytale, keep our Rumpel’s Challenge Side Quest Guide close! 🏰👑

Speaking of the infamous magic man, check out this early concept art of the devilish character revealed on Pop’s Twitter! My, what big eyes you have… 👀

While you’re on Home Island, you may also notice a new ad building for animated Netflix movie Sea Beast! 🐙 Like the Rainbow High ad earlier, inside you can pick a team and play a game for prizes. You’ll have to run around and find 10 little beasts before time is up –– mind the tentacles! You can play for each team to get each of their prizes: the Yellow Follower and Blue Follower (yup, how original).

Knightly gear is in this season at Adventure Outfitters! Fill up on medieval fantasies with classic costumes like the Heart Astro Knight as well as more recent returns like the Baby Dragon Plushie for your clubhouse. (If only Amelia sold tickets to lost islands, though…)

The trend goes up a notch with May’s member gifts! Members this month will find in their inventories a Cute Baby Dragon Follower, Dragon Sword, and Master of All Dragons costume. 🐉

Soon after Jade Scarab Island came out last week, Girl Power (Pop username: GwenBrightly), the island’s designer who won the Dream Island contest to have her idea made, shared an appreciation post on her Tumblr blog composed of pictures of the legendary cat/goddess, Bastet.
