Goofball sequel soon, and amusements for an afternoon πŸπŸ°

Hey Poptropicans, pop in for what’s popping!

Goofball Island’s side quest drops this Tuesday, Jan 11 for members! So far, we’ve seen sneak peeks of a mysterious Bee Bot and Hive News van with reporter Katie Dare. Stay tuned for our guide!

The Creators’ Blog has also been sharing some fun stuff from the community this week, with a Clubhouse Crawl for Spotted Star and a hand-drawn blimp maze puzzle from Friendly Noodle. Give it a spin!

Fan art continues on Instagram too, with Poptropica featuring these cute doodles of players’ original characters:

Also, Poptropica’s still going strong uploading tons of new short clips on their YouTube and TikTok! We’ll share a couple highlights here, but to see more, check out their respective channel pages.

One of the more interesting clips is a soundbite meme with various Pop characters tagged as various kinds of people β€” among them, the Huntsman from Fairytale is a Canadian, a pixel pilgrim from Early Poptropica is a Christian, Mark Twain from Mystery Train is for real, and Ringmaster Raven from Monster Carnival is a liberal. How about you?

Another clip shares some Poptropica cosplay looks previously featured on Pop’s social media, captioned “expectations vs reality.” The final shot features what might be a Pop Creator’s face reveal, except their face is covered by paper goggles and painted buckteeth. Not bad for a homemade Dr. Hare look! 🐰

That’s a wrap for this update. Pop on, Poptropicans!

Live from the Hive: PoptropiCon rumored rerelease and more β˜„️

Hey Poptropicans, news from the hive coming at you live! Sort of, anyway. Pop in for sneak peeks, costumes, member gifts, and fan art!

The Pop Creators have dropped one last sneak peek for the upcoming Goofball Island side quest, as well as the bomb that it’ll be for members only, like bonus quests of old Pop islands. Meet the Hive News van:

Could Bee Bot from previous peeks be a tool, or even a sentient employee, of this buzzing news organization? We’ll find out soon when this sequel side quest drops! 🐝🎀

Over at Adventure Outfitters, tons of PoptropiCon-themed outfits and clubhouse decor have hit the racks! Among the new outfits are characters from Mighty Action Force, the card game from PoptropiCon Island, Ep. 2: Spoiler Alert. Seems like a hint for the next possible rerelease, as Poptropica has mentioned bringing back more episodes.

For the full rundown of what’s new, check out the Creators’ Blog post.

The start of a new month also brings two familiar traditions: Member gifts for January are the Apple Cider Bottle, Fun Fireworks, and Sparkler accessories. Plus, the call is already out to begin sending in designs for the monthly costume contest, which ends in two weeks on Mon, January 17 at 8 p.m. PST. Keep your spark going! 🌠

Reindeer Ready for Renames and Recaps πŸ¦Œ

Hey Poptropicans! Pop in for the last shop drop of the year, Instagram stories, and YouTube shorts. Let’s go!

At Adventure Outfitters, you can snap up the new Reindeer Ready costume for 200 credits, complete with antlers. Returning outfits this week are the Neon Rockstar, Warm Vibes, and Pumpkin Pleasure, plus there’s still plenty of Christmas gear around! πŸ¦ŒπŸŽ„

We’ve also got some spectacular fan art features on Poptropica’s Instagram stories, including a clip of a fan creating their own Pop-inspired game on Unity and the Fairytale Island gang from the PHB’s very own Lucky Joker. Enjoy! ✨

Just in case you missed the memo that your Poptropican doesn’t have to be stuck with the default name of Hamburger Hamburger, the Pop Creators recently covered how to change your player name on their blog and on YouTube. There are two ways and one button: look for the pencil icon next to your name on either the character screen or friends page.

You can change it as much as you like, but you’ll no longer be a Hamburger Hamburger after that first switch. Curious about all the name combos? Check out our Poptropica Names Guide for a complete collection of possible Pop first and last names!

Also on YouTube (and TikTok), Poptropica compiled some clips from the year for a little 2021 review, featuring Rumpel’s Challenge, the Baron’s Crusade, and other adventures. If this whirlwind tour leaves you wanting more, be sure to check out the PHB’s 2021 Poptropica Rewind! πŸ’«

Happy holidays and Grapple-Pop on, Poptropicans!

Searching for Bee Bot and Rainbow Puppy πŸŒˆ

Hey Poptropicans! We’ve got another side quest sneak peek, costume winner, activities away from screentime, a Crazy Club tribute, and cute criminals in the Pop universe. Let’s get started!

Last week, we got news of an upcoming side quest sequel for Goofball Island along with a sneak peek of a mechanical bee. Now, Bee Bot is back on our screens and colored in greens! Friend or foe, we don’t know.

We also have word on the winner of December’s costume contest: Rainbow Puppy by Hamburger Hamburger! This colorful creation will be available for free at the Baron’s when the ship arrives in early January.

Plus, check out all the other fun costume creations in this roundup reel:

For the winter break season, the Pop Creators’ Blog also shared some printable activity sheets, including this new word search puzzle:

They also shared some coloring pages of playing in snow, like last year. You can print them out or download them to color in digitally!

In the mood for something wilder? See if you can match the energy at the Crazy Club on Goofball Island, as in this short vid from Poptropica:

Also on Poptropica’s Instagram are a couple of new stories featuring fan art of villains at their cutest. Even the evil have their sweet spots!

Plus, Pop also posted a throwback of the Snowpocalypse mini game from years past β€” could this be a hint for its return this snowy season?

That’s a wrap for this update! Hope you’re enjoying the Grapple-Pap season on Pop with the Grapple-Gift Side Quest and decking yourself and your halls with Christmas gear. Cheers! πŸ˜„βœŒοΈ

Over on Instagram, we’ve got some more lovely fan art featured in Poptropica’s stories. These characters may be cute on the outside, but do their hearts match their faces?

While we’re in the swing of winter, a hint of summer remains in the latest short from Poptropica: a meme that mashes the Island Boys from TikTok with Goofball Island. We might prefer goofing off with the latter.

Anyway, that’s a wrap for this update! Pop on, Poptropicans!
