Your daily paper

Poptropica Members don’t just get Early Access to Wimpy Wonderland. They also a get a free bonus item!

Any Members who play Wimpy Wonderland during the Early Access period will get the special Paper Girl or Paper Boy costume and ability.

With the costume, you can turn yourself into a lined paper wonder, right out of the Wimpy Kid universe!

Even better, you can paperize anybody else you see anywhere in Poptropica — even Director D.!

So, Members, log on now to play Wimpy Wonderland and get your free Paper Girl or Paper Boy Gold Card. If you’re not a Member, you can become a Member and get the Card along with Early Access to Wimpy Wonderland. (And keep in mind that this Card will live in your store items inventory section.)

You’ll be able to keep this Card forever, even if you cancel Membership later, but once the Early Access period is over, the Card will be gone. Don’t miss your chance!

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

If you’re a member, you’re in luck– you get to get a suspiciously mummy looking paper costume, not to mention you get to change various characters around Poptropica into paper. Fun, right?

Now, since WW is supposed to be released around the middle of March, if you think turning cartoon people into paper is just uber fun, you better hurry and get a membership, before your chance has been crumpled up! (see what I did there? HUR HUR HUR HURRR…hur…ha…yeah…)

For those of you who have been playing Wild West Island’s sneak peek game of Round ‘Em Up every other day to get all the prizes, Captain Crawfish of the PCB wants to remind everyone that there’s just one prize left, and that’s the Wunder Bubble Tonic.

Unfortunately, he consumed too much of the drink and has passed out in that corner over there. *points* We have the plates, knives, and forks on the other side, so feel free to take a little snack break if you’ve been lassoing too many cows and want a rest.

WunderTonic — Drunk on the Wunder Bubble Tonic

Thanks to Luke from the PHC for modeling some of the cowboy prizes, including the all-new Wunder Bubble Tonic, which makes your character flash random colors and blow bubbles of different colors. It’s pretty epic, so if you can, I’d recommend trying your best to win this prize!

New prizes were available every other day for a total of 7 prizes. Those prizes have expired though, but congratulations to those who won them while they were available. Past prizes include, in order starting from the first one:

On Cryptids Island, if you didn’t already know, you can fly kites from the kite store! There’s lots of them to choose from, such as this panda one:

For non-members, Cryptids Island is apparently opening on Tuesday, January 18. Which isn’t exactly fair because they had originally released the date as January 17. Sneaky Creators. 😐

Sorry I’ve been posting so much lately. I figured you guys were getting bored of me so I was going to let someone else do it for a change, but I figured up-to-date news is more important. So, here goes.

First of all, there’s a new Creator’s blog post about the Cryptids Island preview.

Well, well, well — look what’s sneaked its way onto the Poptropica map.

You can visit Cryptids Island now for a special sneak preview! You’ll be dropped on the shores of Loch Ness. Check out the viewfinder next to the castle to see the amazing sights. If you’re lucky, you might even spot Nessie!

Anyone who does see the Loch Ness Monster through the viewfinder will win a special prize (and Poptropica Members get even more time to look). You can try once per day, so if you don’t see her today, try again tomorrow!
