Hey Poptropicans, this is a guest post by Giant Dragon. Enjoy!
Hello Poptropicans, and happy belated Halloween!
Did you enjoy my “Ghost Rider” costume in the PHB’s Halloween Costume Contest? It won an honorable mention! For this post, I’m going to share how you can put this outfit together. Let us “pop” into it.
For those who don’t know, the Ghost Rider is a Marvel comic book superhero also adapted into movies. Wikipedia’s description of the character is “a human who can transform into a skeletal superhuman wreathed in ethereal flame and given supernatural powers.”
Now, putting the costume together is as easy as nibbling cheese! Here are the items you will need (the numbers are their codes in Card Collector, a glitching tool for getting all sorts of stuff):
Rock Star outfit (3006)
Torch Power (3050)
Skeleton Power or any outfit or ASG with a skull on it (3006)
Rumplestiltskin outfit (if you don’t have the outfit, since it’s members-only, use the ASG Machine)
Before you start, remove any handheld item or anything else (including backpack and hair wigs). This is how you’ll assemble the outfit:
Use the Skeleton Power and remove the ribs from it.
Put on the Rumplestiltskin shirt.
Activate Torch Power!
Add whatever pants you like, and there you go. Doesn’t it look completely spooky?
Keep your eyes popped for my future posts! Dragon out.

Hello once again everyone! Spotted Dragon here bringing you the May recap for Community Creations! May’s theme was heroes and the featured work is not in any particular order. Be sure to check out all the featured artists!
When You Meet Your Favorite Superhero by Gentle Dolphin aka JordynGowens
If you couldn’t tell, this drawing is a reference to Wonder Woman’s appearance on Greek Sea Odyssey Island. Big DC fans were psyched to see her, I’m sure, so I bet they’d especially love this piece. The coloring is super accurate and the line-art is crisp, primarily on the drawing’s subject of course. Wonder Woman looks strong and confident in that pose! And the fans’ emotion is well depicted. Great detail! Find her DeviantArt here.
Heroes of Greek Myth by epiphxny
You can easily tell that a lot of work went into this piece! The lighting is fantastic and makes the heroes look like their glowing with power and confidence. The coloring is simple and soft, and I love the style that the Poptropicans are drawn in. Greek myths have always been a big part of Poptropica, from the original Mythology Island to the more recent Greek Sea Odyssey Island. It’s certainly a fan favorite subject! From left to right in the illustration, we have Perseus, Atalanta and Hercules, all from stories you might be familiar with. Amazing work! Find his DeviantArt here.
World Guy: The First on the Force by Sporty Boa
I think the similarities between Poptropica’s World Guy and Marvel’s Captain America can’t be ignored, and this drawing highlights those perfectly. In this comparison, the artist mimicked a well known Marvel poster, but with our beloved PoptropiCon hero in center stage! This entire idea was really neat and well executed. The pose and other details are super accurate, as seen in this side by side image. While Greek heroes tend to be fan favorites, PoptropiCon is also chock full of some amazing supers. Wonderful drawing! Find his Twitter here.
Marvel Madness by Spotted Eagle
What a line up! Marvel’s popularity these days is anything but quiet, and this collage of characters is a perfect example of that superhero adoration. With a mixture of editing and in game costumes, this assortment really brings to life what some of pop culture’s most well known (and less known) heroes would look like as Poptropicans. Can you recognize everyone? Who kinda wants another superhero oriented island in Poptropica Worlds now? Nice work! Friend them with the username dad34853.
Pretzel Break in Super Power Island by ChibiNeko-Lover
Super Power Island is obviously a great choice for this month’s theme. And we have to remember that superheroes need a break every now and then too! You can’t tell me that you didn’t just wanna stop and eat a pretzel when you got stuck on this island. Anyway, the composition of this drawing is wonderful, the camera angle adds lots of interest! Not to mention all the detail in every inch of the piece and the cool, bright colors. Great work! Find her DeviantArt here.
Saving a Pelican by Silver Foot
Fierce Black Panther by Fierce Flyer
Pop Deku by LilPoptrystalTemp
Your submissions never cease to wow me guys! It was especially fun to see all your favorite heroes this month. We even got some My Hero Academia! Great work everyone!
June: How do I Participate?
Community Creations is a cool series for anyone in the Poptropica community to join in on. To sum up what it’s about, it’s basically a chance to show off your artwork, creepy fan-fic, realms, costumes, and anything else that pops into your mind.
If we really like the piece you submit, we will feature it here on the PHB! As long as it relates to that month’s theme. So what is June’s theme? June’s theme is…
Under the Sea!
With summer coming up for most Poptropicans, a cool down is needed. Whether that be a pool party with friends or a full on beach vacation, water is the key element! And Poptropica doesn’t shy away from the ocean. So, for this month, make something related to water! Or, in more fun terms, under the sea!
The possibilities are endless as usual. Draw your favorite underwater Poptropicans, like Poseidon! Create the perfect beach day outfit for Wimpy Boardwalk! Write about your thrilling adventures in Mission Atlantis! The details are up to you, so have fun!
Submitting: Comment below with a link to whatever you’ve created OR share it with me (SydVC aka Spotted Dragon) on DeviantArt, Twitter, or Discord.
Results: I will feature 5 of the submissions as well as 3 honorable mentions.
Limitations: Nothing NSFW, and make sure you relate to the theme.
Due Date: I will take any entries before the end of this month. Submit as many things as you’d like!
I will always be sure to let you know I have seen your creation. Bonus points if you make a compelling description for your piece! While quality counts, I’m mainly looking for something to simply catch my eye, so don’t be afraid to join in!
So what are you waiting for? Go make something awesome!
