Need some Poptropica fashion advice? Here are a few pointers to keep in mind:
- 👖 Mix and match different costume parts together! That’s the beauty of it — you get to be original. The store is your go-to spot for the latest costumes, but you can also find lots of options with the Costumizer tool on PoptropiCon Island. Be careful not to mismatch, though: those goofy glasses probably aren’t going to go well with that fancy dress.
- 👔 Have a color scheme. Put colors that look good together, but don’t overdo it – you don’t need to have all the colors of the rainbow on you, or the colors may clash. One or two shades, possibly mixed in with some neutral colors (white, black, browns, grays), can pull off a pretty neat outfit.
- 👨🏼🎤 Skin: Regular human skin tones are your safest bet, unless you’re going for a bizarre Halloween costume or something. You can change your skin tone (and more) with Modify A Poptropican (MAP), a glitching tool.
- 💁🏻♀️ Hair: You probably don’t want yucky shades like greenish-brown, but whatever you pick, be sure it matches your outfit. Natural colors work best, but sometimes blue or purple hair can do the trick as well. To change hair color, visit 24 Carrot’s “Carrot King Diner” and mix a drink until you get the desired color. When you drink it, your hair color will change!
- 🧢 Accessorize. There are tons of accessories available within costumes. Don’t be afraid to try something on — if it doesn’t work out, you can just close the Costumizer window without saving. Add that belt, sword on the side, or those side bangs to complete the outfit you’re working on. Look around and you might just find something that matches. Be inspired by the above costumes, the ideas contained in the comments below, and what your friends are wearing — but make a look that’s uniquely yours, too.

That zombie-huntress costume looks more like a daughter of poseidon costume.
I have a punk costume for females. Follow the steps below to get the look.
STEP 1: Go to any common room and find spiky hair which comes with skull earrings. Costumize the hair.
STEP 2: Get the Skull Pirate costume from Skullduggery Island. If you can’t get it, go to the Poptropica Store and enter “SKULLBOOK” into the space that says Promo Code. It should give you the Skull Pirate costume (for free), and it will appear in the “STORE ITEMS” section in your bag. Then, costumize the sword (ONLY the sword.)
STEP 3: Buy the Biker costume from the store (it will cost 75 credits). Costumize the jacket, shirt, pants and cap. (OPTIONAL: You can also get the ponytail if you don’t like the spiky hair.)
STEP 4: Finally, you will need grey, turned-down lips. To get them, go to Mythology island. Costumize the lips of the first lady on your right (your Poptropican’s left).
STEP 5: *THIS IS OPTIONAL* If you want a belt, you can costumize the one from the Biker costume. Also, if you want a skull belt that goes around your waist and has a bit that hangs down, you can search through common rooms to find it. Or, if you have some credits to blow, go to the store and buy the Bride of Frankenstein costume (75 credits), then costumize the belt.
There you have it! A punk costume! 🙂

You just get the braid from Mythology Surfer and the bangs from prom queen (the right one not the left) and Voila!

2. Quickly costumize the binary princess before the boss battle for the hair or add binaryprincess as a friend and costumize her hair.
3. Get the glases, lips, and top from the ad department on Mocktropica.

5. OPTIONAL: get other yellow or purple items such as the pom-poms I added.

I have a cool costume to share:
Head: Side swept bangs from anywhere, headset from kid on Lunar Colony main street with the MP3, hair from Black Widow on Counterfeit right at the beginning of the island. Smile can be from anywhere. Dye your hair lightish pink at the 24 Carrot Carrot King Diner by doing half a cup of red and then adding drops of white until it is a peachy colour.
Body: Any blue tee, jacket from Pop Star store costume, backpack from random Early Poptropica character, microphone from Pop Star costume, and the skirt from the Pop Star costume although any black skirt will do.
