Need some Poptropica fashion advice? Here are a few pointers to keep in mind:
- ๐ Mix and match different costume parts together! That’s the beauty of it โ you get to be original. The store is your go-to spot for the latest costumes, but you can also find lots of options with the Costumizer tool on PoptropiCon Island. Be careful not to mismatch, though: those goofy glasses probably aren’t going to go well with that fancy dress.
- ๐ Have a color scheme. Put colors that look good together, but don’t overdo it – you don’t need to have all the colors of the rainbow on you, or the colors may clash. One or two shades, possibly mixed in with some neutral colors (white, black, browns, grays), can pull off a pretty neat outfit.
- ๐จ๐ผโ๐ค Skin: Regular human skin tones are your safest bet, unless you’re going for a bizarre Halloween costume or something. You can change your skin tone (and more) with Modify A Poptropican (MAP), a glitching tool.
- ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ Hair: You probably don’t want yucky shades like greenish-brown, but whatever you pick, be sure it matches your outfit. Natural colors work best, but sometimes blue or purple hair can do the trick as well. To change hair color, visit 24 Carrot’s “Carrot King Diner” and mix a drink until you get the desired color. When you drink it, your hair color will change!
- ๐งข Accessorize. There are tons of accessories available within costumes. Don’t be afraid to try something on โ if it doesn’t work out, you can just close the Costumizer window without saving. Add that belt, sword on the side, or those side bangs to complete the outfit you’re working on. Look around and you might just find something that matches. Be inspired by the above costumes, the ideas contained in the comments below, and what your friends are wearing โ but make a look that’s uniquely yours, too.

There’s a trick out there known as the ASG (Avatar Studio Glitch) that people use to obtain rare, un-Costumizable costumes. With the PHB’s Avatar Studio Gift, you’ll find lots of them, and we’re always adding more. Check it out!

2.go to nabooti island and costumize the girl next to you as soon as you get in and get the top of her
3.get the skirt of leave and put it on and go into the tour center chose the hair with a flower on it

I made a few changes to the Katniss outfit… problem is that my costume has a jacket, and if I try to put a “mockingjay pin” on it, the jacket disappears.
Here are the modifications:
-The shirt is from the cashier in Queequeg’s Coffee Shop at Backlot Island.
-The pants are from the director of the movie at Backlot Island.
-The jacket is from the lady at Main Street in Red Dragon Island.
-The knife is from the man in front of the thrones of the king and queen at Astro-Knights Island (Katniss had a knife, so I added that).
-The backpack is from the homeless guy by the factory at Game Show Island (but he’ll leave after you give him the nickel).
And I added some yellow to the hair, because when I only used black, blue, and red, the hair looked dark purple.

Hair: I started the game with my hair blond even though I’m not blond-haired. If your hair isn’t already blond, you can use the colorizer, or go to the carrot king diner on 24 Carrot Island. I costumized from the girl in a tent with glasses on Night Watch Island to get her hair.
Bangs:I friended Slanted Fish and costumized the bangs.
Skin:I used Pigements from Early Poptropica Island. When I saw the colors I didn’t want, I kept going into another room and back.
Shirt:I forgot where I got the shirt, but I know I costumized it from somone.
Skirt: I started the game with the skirt, so you can either friend me and costumize it from me, (Username is Dragonfire2540) or you can create a new account and get the skirt and go back to your other account, friend the poptropican from your other account, and costumize from him/her.
Necklace: I got it from Aphrodite on Mytholgy Island.
Microphone:I got the Pop Star from the store and got the microphone from it.
If you can’t do all of this, you can friend me and costumize.
