Lots of news today to inform you all on! First of all, another sneak peek of Nabooti Island has surfaced on the Creators’ Blog. It seems that we need to take pictures of animals as part of our adventure on Nabooti Island. Maybe, when we start Nabooti Island, they give us a camera of sorts to take pictures of different things? Nevertheless, it’s very interesting. 😀 Blog picture directly below these words:

UPDATE: I was partly right! Well, kind of. =P Anyways, with the release of Nabooti Island, we now know that you receive the camera by buying it from a guy on Nabooti Island. Also, you do have to use the camera to complete Nabooti Island, but you can’t use the camera anywhere else. I think.

Speaking of Nabooti Island, they have changed the Nabooti Island sign-thingy (on the Poptropica website) to say “COMING VERY SOON”. Hopefully it might be released this or next week. 😉 They have also changed the Big Nate Island sign to say “COMING EARLY 2009”. At least now we are given more specific release dates! Sign-thingies below:

The final piece of news is that on different islands you can find next to any Main Street a Wal-Mart wishlist making thing. It redirects you to another site when you click. See it below:

-Leaked Costume Investigation-

For the past week i have been searching for rare and awesome costumes for our new Costume page. But it was only a few days ago i came across some really weird items.

I found them on a fellow Poptropicans website. These weird items were been worn by Legoless. (As seen on the right)

I sent him an email about the items and this is what he replied:

Ok, firstly, these items are all but impossible to get now. There was an ‘item leak’ in the multiplayer buildings. Someone managed to get their hands on unreleased items that somehow happen to be on the servers (I am guessing they came from Monster Island). So, obviously enough, they spread like wildfire.
But when the creators finally got around to fixing it most people lost their items. If you logged on in the following 2 weeks (I don’t actually know the precise amount of time this went on for) they were removed. I hadn’t logged on in that time so, oddly enough, I got to keep the items.

Dragon wings. — The dragon wings were the same colour as your hair.

So apparently there was some kind of ‘Leak‘ just before the release of Monster Island. Due to the resemblance of the items towards ‘Monsters’, I’m guessing they came from the island too. Maybe this is why Monster Island never came out.

So when did this ‘leak’ happen. Well i have have found on many sites that it happened 2 to 3 months ago.
So what type of items were leaked. Well i went researching and this is what i found.

Unicorn horn
Scrawny wings
Face polka dots
Dragon Spikes and tail (One of the items Legoless had)
Dragon Wings
Bubble brain (Another of the items Legoless had)
Dragon wings (for head)
Goat Horns (Another of the items Legoless had)
Dragonfly wings
Body stripes
Body dots
Devil horns

After writing this it got me thinking. “Was this where the cat ears and whiskers came from? ”

If you see any of these items in Multiplayer Rooms, take a picture, get the items and send me your user name and Pass of your Poptropican wearing them.

Now this is where you can help in this investigation.

If you have any of these items, or you know a friend who does. Send me the Username and Password to the email given below.

All users sent to us will be only used by us, we will only copy the items onto one of our accounts. After we have done this you can use your account again. We will never tell anyone else your Users password and will be kept confidential. All emails sent to us with User names and Passwords will be deleted after we have used them.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a… bird plane?

Yet another sneak peek of the announced Mechanical/Medieval Island! At least, that’s what I think it’s of. Anyways, depicted in the sneak peek is some sort of majestic, robotic, flaming, missile-firing bird. Looks pretty sleek! I’d like to see this bird in action! Maybe you have to fight it like you did with the villains on Super Power Island. Perhaps it could be like fighting Betty Jetty. Anyways, the blog picture is below:

Again, this sneak peek is kind of going on the theme of mechanical and medieval.

Mechanical = Robot Bird, Missles

Medieval = If you look at the picture carefully, you can kind of see what I mean by when I say it looks medieval.

Hello everyone! It seems that the Poptropica Creators’ Blog has released another sneak peek of Nabooti Island! This time it’s of a new game! For some of you who might play Club Penguin, you’ll recognize this game: Mancala! However, the Creators’ Blog doesn’t clearly define whether or not:

1. If it’s only playable on Nabooti Island

2. If it’s multiplayer

Also, for some reason, people on YouTube are posting comments about how Poptropica “stole” this from Club Penguin. o_o Just a reminder to all: Mancala was not created by Club Penguin. Just wanted to clear that up. =) Anyways, video below:

Wonder which island this will be from? Many will guess it’s from the mechanical-themed island the Poptropica Creators’ Blog has recently been giving sneak peeks of. Although no name has been mentioned yet, some say that this island could be called “Mystery Island” because of how many of the sneak peeks have the word “mystery” in its Image Name, including this one! Others say it could be called “Mechanical Island” because of how it’s so mechanic-themed. But who knows? We’ll just have to wait and see. 😀

Fall is coming to its end pretty quickly! Nabooti Island and Big Nate are expected to be released any time now. (Of course, that could vary from the next minute to almost a month. It just depends on the Creators and how their progress is!) 😉
