The top stop for all things Pop
The creators announced in a new post on their blog that Game Show Island will soon be free…for all! How cool is that? Non-members will soon be able to play the fun filled quest as well. In just 4 short days – on November 22 – it will be released.
But of course, the Store’s Game Show Robot costume still remains free and for members only. It looks pretty awesome if you ask me. So, buckle down and get ready for the new island!

Many of you may have began to play this all new Legendary Swords Adventure now. And many of you may have been familiar with many of its features, such as obtaining two types of swords: Rusty Relic and the Bolt.
If it hasn’t hit and of you yet, the PCB reminded us we can easily access these weapons by going to the weapon tab and switching between blades. Each blade is different and has its own rather unique advantage.
Of course, there are many more swords to be obtained as well. These swords can be obtained by purchasing the costume that comes with it from the Poptropica Store or by using your active membership.
The below swords in the picture the creators gave us is just another example of many of these extra swords. They are the Dark Knight Sword and Laser Sword. My personal favorite is Dark Knight since it sounds so uber and cool ;).

You probably already know that the Poptropica Store includes some free stuff you can claim. But now there’s more, and it’s called Free+. Let the Creators’ Blog explain:
Free+
You might have noticed a new icon on some of the items in the Poptropica Store.
What is Free+? Free+ means that the item is free for everybody who wants it, and also has some extra-special features for Members. When you play “Shrink Shot” or “Prepare for Impact,” for example, you’ll get additional powers and prizes if you’re a Member.
So, kinda cool for the members, not so much for everyone else. 😛 But still, it’s nice to have free stuff, and when an item is labeled Free+, it just means that Poptropica Members will get extra features or prizes. Nice.
In other news, Legendary Swords releases on tomorrow’s legendary date – 11/11/11! That’s not gonna happen for another thousand years. It would be pretty epic to release on 11:11am/pm, too. Plus, if it’s your 11th birthday that day, kudos! I myself will be 15 on the 15th, so that’s awesome too. xD

Did you know?
Legendary Swords is just ONE week away! 😀 Yay! The Creators’ have posted up a Legendary Swords tutorial to help us play!
Basically, the video describes Swords, Moves, and Health Crystals.
Swords
To view swords, click on the sword on the top left hand corner. It shows the swords included in the actual game and the swords that you bought from the store, if any. You can switch between Rusty Relic, Ninja Sword, Templar Knight Sword, and lightsaber ( 😀 ), plus any other sword that you might have!
Moves
The moves depend on how you move: run, walk or jump. It will show you in the video. 🙂
Health Crystals
The health meter is the big sword at the top. It goes down when you get hurt. To replenish your health, try to find a cluster of pink crystals! Swing the sword to harvest them. They go to your health crystal inventory next to the health meter. Click the crystal icon to add to your health! 😀

Where Was Dr. Hare?
A couple days ago, a new Dr. Hare travel photo was posted. The Creators have revealed that this hop-happy bunny’s location was Bueno Aires, Argentina!
And there’s another photo of our favorite carrot-nommer in front of the famous Galileo Galilei Planetarium in Buenos Aires. Where do you think he’ll travel to next?

Cabin Fever Ad
A new ad about Jeff Kinney’s new Diary of a Wimpy Kid series Book 6: Cabin Fever has appeared in Pop! (Of course XD) Thanks LS! (Also for reminding to give you credit :P)
